‭‭Luke‬ ‭4 : 18 – 21

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has chosen me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free the oppressed and announce that the time has come when the Lord will save his people.” Jesus rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant, and sat down. All the people in the synagogue had their eyes fixed on him, as he said to them, “This passage of scripture has come true today, as you heard it being read.” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭4 : 18 – 21‬ ‭GNT‬‬

This bit of scripture speaks right to my heart, Jesus Christ stood in the synagogue and outright told them all HE was The Messiah. The ones who believed followed, but the others called him a blasphemer. In the world today times have not changed, there are those who follow, and those who say Jesus Christ is a fairy tale. Today’s prayer is that we would witness to the world that Jesus Christ is alive!!!! HE is still healing, HE is still setting the captive free, HE is still The Messiah and will reign forever …….. “LET GOD’S LOVE seep into the inner recesses of your being. Do not close off any part of yourself from The LORD. GOD knows you inside and out, so do not try to present a “cleaned-up” self to HIM. Wounds that you shut away from the Light of GOD’S Love will fester and become wormy. Secret sins that you “hide” from GOD can split off and develop lives of their own, controlling you without your realizing it. Open yourself fully to The LORD’S transforming Presence. Let GOD’S brilliant Love-Light search out and destroy hidden fears. This process requires time alone with GOD, as HIS Love soaks into your innermost being. Enjoy GOD’S perfect Love, which expels every trace of fear.”

Scripture

O LORD, you have searched me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O LORD. Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. PSALM 139 : 1 – 4, 23 – 24 

There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. 1 JOHN 4 : 18 

Prayer

Prayer: Lord, shine Your Love-Light into every hidden place in me. I don’t want to keep any part of myself from You. Heal what’s been festering, break hold of anything I’ve hidden, and replace it with Your peace. Let Your perfect love drive out every fear. Amen.

Matthew ‭11 : 28 – 30‬

“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and YOU WILL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭11 : 28 – 30‬ ‭NASB‬‬

Do you just seem to struggle and never get to that place of rest? Maybe it’s because you are trying to do things your own way? Trying to be the fixer and not get fixed! The words of Jesus Christ tell us to come to HIM!! Are you handing over your troubles? I’m not saying to hand them over and life is going to be full of rainbows and unicorns, there will always be trials and struggles but the way of the world will continue to bring problems! The way of Jesus Christ will bring peace in the middle of the storms. Today’s prayer is that we would be so in tune with GOD’S Word that we would never be shaken and stand strong on The Word!!!! Hand the problem off to Jesus Christ and take the next trial head on ……. Be Blessed

There is no limit to the variety of ways The LORD can communicate with you. Your part is to be attentive to HIS messages, in whatever form they come. When you set out to find GOD in a day, you discover that the world is vibrantly alive with HIS Presence. You can find GOD not only in beauty and bird calls, but also in tragedy and faces filled with grief. GOD can take the deepest sorrow and weave it into a pattern for good. Search for GOD and HIS messages, as you go through this day. You will seek GOD and find The LORD when you seek HIM with your whole being.”

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. ROMANS 8 : 28

“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” JEREMIAH 29 : 13

Prayer

Prayer: Lord thank you for speaking to me continually in so many creative ways. Help me to be more attentive to you, searching and finding you everywhere. You are the treasure my soul longs for. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Philippians‬ ‭3 : 7‬

“But whatever things were gain to me, those things I have counted as loss for the sake of Christ.” ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭3 : 7‬ ‭NASB‬‬

Before when we were not in Christ, trivial things meant the most to us, possessions, material things, ourselves!!! Is this you today? This scripture tells us that we should count all that is gain to us as nothing!!! Ouch hard to swallow I know. Today’s prayer is that we would live a life of priority, nice things are nice but are we blessing others on the account of the blessing Jesus Christ gave us?……. Be Blessed & Be a Blessing always

1 Corinthians‬ ‭2 : 9‬

​“However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived” — the things God has prepared for those who love him—” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭2 : 9‬ ‭NIV‬‬

This scripture reminds us that no matter how bad things seem, no matter how much we don’t see it happening GOD is always preparing the best for those who love Him. Today’s prayer is that through the trials we would see triumph and through all we would praise the Lord of Lords …. Be Blessed

2 Timothy‬ ‭2 : 24 – 26

“A servant of the Lord must not quarrel but must be kind to everyone, be able to teach, and be patient with difficult people. Gently instruct those who oppose the truth. Perhaps God will change those people’s hearts, and they will learn the truth. Then they will come to their senses and escape from the devil’s trap. For they have been held captive by him to do whatever he wants.” ‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭2 : 24 – 26‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Your witness must be effective, not intrusive!!!!! You witness the love of GOD showing the love of GOD in you, is that what’s going on ? Today’s prayer is that we always show the love of GOD by the love in us not the judgment of the world!!!!!!! Be Blessed and witness to all

THANKFULNESS OPENS THE DOOR to GOD’S Presence. – PSALM 100 : 4, 1 THESSALONIANS 5 : 18

“THANKFULNESS OPENS THE DOOR to GOD’S Presence. Though GOD is always with you, GOD has gone to great measures to preserve your freedom of choice. GOD has placed a door between you and HIM, and GOD has empowered you to open or close that door. There are many ways to open it, but a grateful attitude is one of the most effective. Thankfulness is built on a substructure of trust. When thankful words stick in your throat, you need to check up on your foundation of trust. When thankfulness flows freely from your heart and lips, let your gratitude draw you closer to The LORD. The LORD wants you to learn the art of giving thanks in all circumstances. See how many times you can thank GOD daily; this will awaken your awareness to a multitude of blessings. It will also cushion the impact of trials when they come against you. Practice GOD’S Presence by practicing the discipline of thankfulness.”

Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. PSALM 100 : 4 

Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 THESSALONIANS 5 : 18

Prayer

Prayer: Lord, teach me to walk through the door of Your Presence with gratitude. Even when it’s hard, help me trust You enough to give thanks. Open my eyes to your blessings all around me, and let a thankful heart draw me closer to You. Amen.

But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light. 1 Peter‬ ‭2‬ :‭ 9‬ NLT

Isn’t it nice to know that this is how GOD feels about us, He loves us so much that we are HIS chosen people. The world says hold your own and watch out for number one but as GOD’S chosen people we should show the same love and compassion as HE does. Today I pray that we all would show that same love, as hard as it is to remember the mercy and grace that we have been given …… Be Blessed

GOD IS THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD. – JOHN 8 : 12, MATTHEW 5 : 14 – 16, 2 CORINTHIANS 3 : 18, EXODUS 3 : 14

“GOD IS THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD. Men crawl through their lives cursing the darkness, but all the while GOD is shining brightly. GOD desires each of HIS followers to be a Light-bearer. The Holy Spirit who lives in you can shine from your face, making GOD visible to people around you. Ask GOD’S Holy Spirit to live through you, as you wend your way through this day. Hold GOD’S hand in joyful trust, for The LORD never leaves your side. The Light of GOD’S Presence is shining upon you. Brighten up the world by reflecting who GOD is.”

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” JOHN 8 : 12

“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” MATTHEW 5 : 14 – 16 

And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. 2 CORINTHIANS 3 : 18 

God said to Moses, “I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’” EXODUS 3 : 14

Prayer

Prayer:  Jesus You are the Light of the world—shine through me today. Let Your Spirit radiate from my life so that others may see You in me. Keep me close to You, walking in joyful trust, and help me reflect Your love wherever I go. Amen.
