Genesis 16 : 1 – 4

Now Sarai, Abram’s wife, had borne him no children. And she had an Egyptian maidservant whose name was Hagar. So Sarai said to Abram, “See now, the Lord has restrained me from bearing children. Please, go in to my maid; perhaps I shall obtain children by her.” And Abram heeded the voice of Sarai. Then Sarai, Abram’s wife, took Hagar her maid, the Egyptian, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan. So he went in to Hagar, and she conceived. And when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress became despised in her eyes. Genesis 16 : 1 – 4 NKJV

In this scripture this shows the result of self effort. Have you ever wanted something so bad that you will do just about anything to get it? Abram was promised a child in GOD’S time, but didn’t want to wait on The LORD so born was Ishmael. Ishmael is a direct reflection of self work, the promised child Isaac was born of GOD’S promise and became a great name. Sometimes we have to wait on The LORD’S promise, it may take days, months, years but be assured HIS timing is always perfect. Have you been waiting on something ? Pray that it is GOD’S will in HIS perfect timing ………. Be Blessed

GOD is CALLING YOU to a life of thankfulness. | ISAIAH 6 : 3, 2 CORINTHIANS 5 : 7, 1 THESSALONIANS 5 : 18

“GOD is CALLING YOU to a life of thankfulness. GOD wants all your moments to be punctuated with thanksgiving. The basis for your gratitude is GOD’S sovereignty. GOD is the Creator and Controller of the universe. Heaven and earth are filled with The LORD’S glorious Presence. When you criticize or complain, you are acting as if you think you could run the world better than GOD does. From your limited human perspective, it may look as if The LORD is mismanaging things. But you don’t know what GOD knows or see what HE sees. If The LORD pulled back the curtain to allow you to view heavenly realms, you would understand much more. However, GOD has designed you to live by faith, not by sight. The LORD lovingly shields you from knowing the future or seeing into the spirit world. Acknowledge GOD’S sovereignty by giving thanks in all circumstances.”

Scripture

And they were calling to one another: “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.” ISAIAH 6 : 3 

We live by faith, not by sight. 2 CORINTHIANS 5 : 7 

Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 THESSALONIANS 5 : 18

Prayer

Prayer: God help me to live a life of thankfulness. If you did nothing else but die on the cross for my sins that would have been enough to give thanks and praise all the days of my life. But in your goodness you do so much. Thank you Jesus. Amen.

making the word of God of no effect through your tradition which you have handed down. And many such things you do.” Mark 7 : 13 NKJV

Religious traditions are a killer!!!! The word of GOD is so clear on all that GOD wants, does, has, and has done for us. Today read The Word with spiritual eyes and let it speak to you, never take just one part of the word to build a tradition. Today I pray that all of us would understand just what JESUS CHRIST did for us on The Cross …….. Be blessed !!!

TRUST GOD, and don’t be afraid. | ISAIAH 12 : 2, PSALM 61 : 2 – 4, CORINTHIANS 3 : 18

“TRUST GOD, and don’t be afraid. Many things feel out of control. Your routines are not running smoothly. You tend to feel more secure when your life is predictable. Let GOD lead you to the rock that is higher than you and your circumstances. Take refuge in the shelter of GOD’S wings, where you are absolutely secure. When you are shaken out of your comfortable routines, grip The LORD’S hand tightly and look for growth opportunities. Instead of bemoaning the loss of your comfort, accept the challenge of something new. GOD leads you on from glory to glory, making you fit for HIS kingdom. Say yes to the ways The LORD works in your life. Trust GOD, and don’t be afraid.”

“Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD, is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.” ISAIAH 12 : 2 

From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the foe. I long to dwell in your tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of your wings. PSALM 61 : 2 – 4 

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. 2 CORINTHIANS 3 : 18 (NKJV)

Prayer: Lord help me to say yes to the ways you work in my life. And when you take me out of my comfort zone, help me to grip your hand tightly and rely on your strength, your wisdom, and your Holy Spirit. With God all things are possible. In Jesus’ precious name. Amen.

“The LORD bless you and keep you; The LORD make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.”  ‭‭Numbers‬ ‭6 : 24 – 26‬ ‭

What is the current condition of your countenance? Can the world see JESUS CHRIST in you? This scripture speaks about The LORD’S blessings and HIS countenance upon you. Today’s prayer is that we would embrace what GOD has given us and show the whole world that love ……. Be Blessed and SMILE

WHEN GOD GIVES YOU no special guidance, stay where you are. | COLOSSIANS 3 : 23, JOHN 15 : 5, PSALM 105 : 4

“WHEN GOD GIVES YOU no special guidance, stay where you are. Concentrate on doing your everyday tasks in awareness of GOD’S Presence with you. The Joy of The LORD’S Presence will shine on you, as you do everything for HIM. Thus you invite GOD into every aspect of your life. Through collaborating with GOD in all things, you allow HIS Life to merge with yours. This is the secret not only of joyful living but also of victorious living. GOD designed you to depend on HIM moment by moment, recognizing that apart from GOD you can do nothing. Be thankful for quiet days, when nothing special seems to be happening. Instead of being bored by the lack of action, use times of routine to seek The LORD’S Face. Although this is an invisible transaction, it speaks volumes in spiritual realms. Moreover, you are richly blessed when you walk trustingly with GOD through the routines of your day.”

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men. COLOSSIANS 3 : 23

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” JOHN 15 : 5

Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always. PSALM 105 : 4

Prayer

Prayer: Lord help me to concentrate on my everyday tasks in awareness of your presence with me. And to abide in you while you prune away anything that doesn’t look like Jesus. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Romans‬ ‭12‬ :‭ 12‬

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. ‭Romans‬ ‭12‬ :‭ 12‬ NIV

This scripture lays out a great foundation to live by. To be joyful in hope is to look to our end results in JESUS CHRIST, to be patient in affliction is to know that without a doubt The LORD will show up to correct the situation, and to be faithful in prayer means to always have a open line of communication with The LORD. Today I pray that we would all use this scripture as a foundation to live our lives by ……. Be Blessed

“HEAVEN IS both present and future. As you walk along your life-path holding GOD’S hand, you are already in touch with the essence of heaven: nearness to GOD. You can also find many hints of heaven along your pathway, because the earth is radiantly alive with The LORD’S Presence. Shimmering sunshine awakens your heart, gently reminding you of GOD’S brilliant Light. Birds and flowers, trees and skies evoke praises to GOD’S Holy Name. Keep your eyes and ears fully open as you journey with The LORD. At the end of your life-path is an entrance to heaven. Only GOD knows when you will reach that destination, but HE is preparing you for it each step of the way. The absolute certainty of your heavenly home gives you Peace and Joy, to help you along your journey. You know that you will reach your home in GOD’S perfect timing: not one moment too soon or too late. Let the hope of heaven encourage you, as you walk along the path of Life with GOD.”

But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. But each in his own turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him. 1 CORINTHIANS 15 : 20 – 23 

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain. HEBREWS 6 : 19

Prayer

Prayer: Lord thank you for the absolute certainty of my Heavenly home. Without Jesus’ covering my sins, that would not be possible. Thank you, thank you sweet Jesus. Help me to enjoy today’s journey because I know my future is secure. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭1 :  6- 8‬

““Alas, Sovereign Lord,” I said, “I do not know how to speak; I am too young.” But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am too young.’ You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord.” ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭1 :  6- 8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“God does not call the qualified, He qualifies the called” ever felt like Jeremiah? Scared? Not worthy? Well GOD has called you to a certain ministry, whether it’s Pastor, missions, or just to be an encourager. Today’s prayer is that you would trust GOD and just step into your calling HE is right there by your side ….. .Be Blessed

“TRUST GOD IN EVERY DETAIL OF YOUR LIFE. Nothing is random in GOD’S kingdom. Everything that happens fits into a pattern for good, to those who love The LORD. Instead of trying to analyze the intricacies of the pattern, focus your energy on trusting GOD and thanking GOD at all times. Nothing is wasted when you walk close to GOD. Even your mistakes and sins can be recycled into something good, through GOD’S transforming grace. While you were still living in darkness, The LORD began to shine the Light of HIS Presence into your sin-stained life. Finally, The LORD lifted you up out of the mire into HIS marvelous Light. Having sacrificed HIS very Life for you, The LORD can be trusted in every facet of your life.”

“But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him.” JEREMIAH 17 : 7 

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. ROMANS 8 : 28

He drew me up out of a horrible pit [a pit of tumult and of destruction], out of the miry clay (froth and slime), and set my feet upon a rock, steadying my steps and establishing my goings. PSALM 40 : 2 

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. 1 PETER 2 : 9 (NKJV)

Prayer

Prayer: God there is such hope knowing that even though I still mess up, you died for that sin also and you recycle my mistakes and sin into something good. Transform me by the renewing of my mind to be more like Christ this week. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
