When pride comes, then comes dishonor, But with the humble is wisdom. Proverbs 11:2 NASB
How are you viewed as a person? Do you humble yourself? or have to always give the right answer? Do you sometimes agree when you are wrong? Do you walk away from an argument or do you stay and try to prove you are right? Do you brag about all of your accomplishments or do you just say thank you? Today’s prayer is that we would always humble ourselves, for there is a time and reason for everything God blesses the humble ……Be Blessed and always be humble
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“IN CLOSENESS TO GOD, you are safe. In the intimacy of GOD’S Presence, you are energized. No matter where you are in the world, you know you belong when you sense The LORD’S nearness. Ever since the Fall, man has experienced a gaping emptiness that only GOD Presence can fill. GOD designed you for close communication with your Creator. How GOD enjoyed walking in the garden with Adam and Eve, before the evil one deceived them! When you commune with The LORD in the garden of your heart, both you and HE are blessed. This is The LORD’S way of living in the world—through you! Together you will push back the darkness, for GOD is the Light of the world.”
You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. PSALM 32 : 7
Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the LORD God among the trees of the garden. But the LORD God called to the man, “Where are you?” GENESIS 3 : 8 – 9
When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” JOHN 8 : 12
Prayer: How I long to walk with you in the cool of the morning and evening in the garden Lord. One fine day. Until then, help me to commune with you in the garden of my heart. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
“And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.” Hebrews 13:16 NIV
Do you view yourself as a giver? Do you put the needs of others before yourself? Can you imagine if Jesus would have said “You know what I’ve changed my mind. I have never sinned so why should I die for everyone else’s sins?”. This scripture should remind us that we are in so many ways blessed beyond words! We have air in our lungs and that is more than we deserve. Today’s prayer is that we would always help others in their time of need and realize that God sees our sacrifice and continues to bless us abundantly…….Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”” Acts 4:12 NIV
The definition of salvation is preservation or deliverance from harm, ruin, or loss. This is the dictionary definition, as Christians we identify with our salvation as putting our faith in Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior. This scripture says “salvation is found in no other name than Jesus! Our greatest gift we will ever receive is the gift of salvation. Today’s prayer is that we would witness the joy and peace that comes from a personal relationship with Jesus, knowing that our salvation is not ” fire insurance” but our salvation is a beautiful gift of grace and mercy………Be Blessed and truly take hold of the meaning of salvation
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.” Matthew 7:24-27 NKJV
Foundation is the key to everything, foundation supports your marriage, attitude, thoughts, job, and the list goes on and on. The key to a peaceful life is building everything you have on a solid foundation, and that starts with your relationship with Jesus. In this scripture Jesus says whoever hears is wise and whoever does not is foolish!!!! We have all heard his words so what is your foundation built on? Today I pray that all will return to the everlasting foundation in Jesus, he is the solid rock and the cornerstone to all in our lives……..Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“SEEK GOD with your whole being. GOD desires to be found by you, and The LORD orchestrates the events of your life with that purpose in mind. When things go well and you are blessed, you can feel The LORD smiling on you. When you encounter rough patches along your life-journey, trust that GOD’S Light is still shining upon you. The LORD’S reasons for allowing these adversities may be shrouded in mystery, but HIS continual Presence with you is an absolute promise. Seek GOD in good times; seek GOD in hard times. You will find The LORD watching over you all the time.”
Scripture
But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul. DEUTERONOMY 4 : 29
Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. HEBREWS 10 : 23
The LORD watches over all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy. PSALM 145 : 20
Prayer
Prayer: Lord, thank you for your promise to always be with me in good times and tough times; and for guiding me in your path of light. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
“Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron,” 1 Timothy 4:1-2 NKJV
Everybody has their own opinion but is that the gospel? The world is full of lies of the Father of lies – Satan!!!! Do you want to follow deceit or truth ? Today’s prayer is that opinions mean nothing, truth is truth!!!!! You have a choice to follow truth or deceit!!!! Which do you choose? Be Blessed and follow the right path………
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“GROW STRONG IN YOUR WEAKNESS. Some of GOD’S children HE has gifted with abundant strength and stamina. Others, like you, have received the humble gift of frailty. Your fragility is not a punishment, nor does it indicate lack of faith. On the contrary, weak ones like you must live by faith, depending on The LORD to get you through the day. GOD is developing your ability to trust HIM, to lean on HIM, rather than on your understanding. Your natural preference is to plan out your day, knowing what will happen when. GOD’S preference is for you to depend on HIM continually, trusting The LORD to guide you and strengthen you as needed. This is how you grow strong in your weakness.”
Scripture
Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.” JAMES 4 : 13 – 15
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. PROVERBS 3 : 5
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. ISAIAH 40 : 28 – 31
Prayer
Prayer: Lord, help me to depend on you continually, trusting you to guide me and strengthen me with the exact portion I need for today. You know what’s up ahead, and that’s enough for me. I trust you with my life, Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
“And now, dear children, remain in fellowship with Christ so that when he returns, you will be full of courage and not shrink back from him in shame.” 1 John 2:28 NLT
Imagine on the day of the Lord’s return you think about all you could have done. Think about the calling God put on your life that you ignored because the enemy made you feel unworthy. What about all the time you could have spent with him in fellowship but chose other earthly things, the reality of this is staggering. Today’s prayer is that we would stay in constant fellowship with the Lord, pray for the faith to step out into your calling and know that on that day the Lord will say “enter my faithful servant you have made me proud” Be Blessed………….
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“THERE IS NO PLACE so desolate that you cannot find GOD there. When Hagar fled from her mistress, Sarah, into the wilderness, she thought she was utterly alone and forsaken. But Hagar encountered GOD in that desolate place. There she addressed GOD as the Living One who sees her. Through that encounter with The LORD’S Presence, she gained courage to return to her mistress. No set of circumstances could ever isolate you from GOD’S loving Presence. Not only does GOD see you always; GOD sees you as a redeemed saint, gloriously radiant in HIS righteousness. That is why The LORD takes great delight in you and rejoices over you with singing!”
Scripture
The angel of the LORD found her by a spring of water in the wilderness, the spring on the way to Shur. And he said, Hagar, servant of Sarai, where have you come from and where are you going? She said, I am fleeing from my mistress Sarai. The angel of the LORD said to her, Return to your mistress and submit to her. The angel of the LORD also said to her, I will surely multiply your offspring so that they cannot be numbered for multitude. And the angel of the LORD said to her, Behold, you are pregnant and shall bear a son. You shall call his name Ishmael, because the LORD has listened to your affliction. He shall be a wild donkey of a man, his hand against everyone and everyone’s hand against him, and he shall dwell over against all his kinsmen. So she called the name of the LORD who spoke to her, You are a God of seeing, for she said, Truly here I have seen him who looks after me. Therefore the well was called Beer-lahai-roi; it lies between Kadesh and Bered. GENESIS 16 : 7 – 14
Prayer
Prayer: God it is amazing when you look at me, you don’t see my mistakes, my shortcomings, you see a redeemed child, clothed in righteousness – because of Jesus. Thank you Jesus. In your name I pray. Amen.
