Who are you walking with? Are you light or dark? It’s so easy to slip in the dark with your surroundings but remember the blood of Christ has redeemed us from the sinful nature!!!! The translation of temptation in the Greek is “testing”. I believe we are all put to a test daily, and I believe God will deliver us from that situation when we are in tune with him. God has delivered us from many situations or strongholds and the most important is eternal. Today’s prayer is that we would be continuous in prayer and live a life that is pleasing to God………Be Blessed

This time alone with GOD is essential for unscrambling your thoughts and smoothing out the day before you. Be willing to fight for this precious time with GOD. Opposition comes in many forms: your own desire to linger in bed; the evil one’s determination to distract you from GOD; the pressure of family, friends, and your own inner critic to spend your time more productively. As you grow in your desire to please GOD above all else, you gain strength to resist these opponents. Delight yourself in The LORD, for GOD is the deepest Desire of your heart.”

Personal Note: I know how easy it is to get distracted when trying to spend time alone with The LORD in prayer or studying HIS Word. During the summer months I don’t have to get up as early due to not having to get kids up and ready for school so I get to sleep in later. That means that by the time I’m ready to sit down and spend time in morning prayers and bible study before I start my work day sometimes the work related emails and notices have started to flow and is easy to think “I’ll do this one quick thing” and lose track of time and end up with less time or no time to spend in studying HIS Word.
Prayer: God help me to fight for spending time in your presence each day. When I do, you help me in so many ways. To see things from your perspective, to transfer my burdens to your strong shoulders, and to unscramble my thoughts. Thank you sweet Jesus. Amen.
And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.” Matthew 6:12 NIV
Jesus paid a debt that we could never pay, So forgiveness should be a natural part of a Christian’s life even if it seems impossible. Today’s prayer is we would all have a heart full of forgiveness and remember what took place at Calvary ………Be Blessed

The LORD wants you to find your security in knowing HIM, the One who died to set you free.”

Your early morning thoughts tend to be anxious ones until you get connected with The LORD. Invite GOD into your thoughts by whispering HIS Name. Suddenly your day brightens and feels more user-friendly. You cannot dread a day that is vibrant with The LORD’S Presence. You gain confidence through knowing that GOD is with you— that you face nothing alone. Anxiety stems from asking the wrong question: “If such and such happens, can I handle it?” The true question is not whether you can cope with whatever happens, but whether you and GOD together can handle anything that occurs. It is this you-and-GOD-together factor that gives you confidence to face the day cheerfully.”

Do you know you have a special gift or talent but are too afraid to use it? Are you seeking approval from man or God? This scripture tells us not to cast away our confidence. The Lord will always help with a gift from him if we use it to glorify him. When adversities strike, the human instinct is to doubt The LORD’S goodness. GOD’S ways are mysterious, even to those who know HIM intimately. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are The LORD’S ways and thoughts higher than your ways and thoughts. Do not try to fathom GOD’S ways. Instead, spend time enjoying The LORD and experiencing HIS goodness.”
Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him. PSALM 34 : 8
