Job‬ ‭1:21

“Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised.”” Job‬ ‭1:21‬ ‭NIV‬‬

I believe this is one of the most misunderstood scriptures in the Bible. The God we serve is a God of love. I believe this scripture speaks of God giving us all good, and the ” takes away” pertains to sorrow, bondage, addiction, pain, depression and restlessness. Today’s prayer is that we would embrace that we serve a God of love, he is a just God but a God of love that wills good for all that have called upon the name of Jesus…… Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

APPROACH PROBLEMS with a light touch. – PSALM 89 : 15, JOHN 16 : 33

“APPROACH PROBLEMS with a light touch. When your mind moves toward a problem area, you tend to focus on that situation so intensely that you lose sight of GOD. You pit yourself against the difficulty as if you had to conquer it immediately. Your mind gears up for battle, and your body becomes tense and anxious. Unless you achieve total victory, you feel defeated. There is a better way. When a problem starts to overshadow your thoughts, bring this matter to GOD. Talk with The LORD about it and look at it in the Light of HIS Presence. This puts some much-needed space between you and your concern, enabling you to see from GOD’S perspective. You will be surprised at the results. Sometimes you may even laugh at yourself for being so serious about something so insignificant. You will always face trouble in this life. But more importantly, you will always have GOD with you, helping you to handle whatever you encounter. Approach problems with a light touch by viewing them in GOD’S revealing Light.”

Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, O LORD. PSALM 89 : 15

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” JOHN 16 : 33

Prayer: God help me to approach problems with a light touch and bring them to you. To talk with you about it and let your perspective replace mine. Help me to depend on you more this week. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Luke 22:31-34

And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.” But he said to Him, “Lord, I am ready to go with You, both to prison and to death.” Then He said, “I tell you, Peter, the rooster shall not crow this day before you will deny three times that you know Me.” Luke 22:31-34 NKJV

Jesus knew that Peter would deny even knowing him, but Jesus also knew that he would build his church using Peter as the main brick. In life, in certain circumstances it’s easy to deny the gospel of Jesus, but do not stand down, stand firm in your belief. Jesus never stopped loving Peter because of his actions and the same applies to you. Today I pray that the spirit of truth would fill each one with the boldness to witness Jesus to all………..

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

James‬ ‭1:19-20‬

“Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry. Human anger does not produce the righteousness God desires.” James‬ ‭1:19-20‬

Are you processing what’s going on before you react? I know I don’t all the time and that is not pleasing to God, when someone comes against you should you not hear them out instead of lashing out? Today’s prayer is that we would react to all situations as Jesus would! Have meekness but not weakness……. Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

Psalms‬ ‭23:4‬ ‭

“Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭23:4‬ ‭

We all have dark times in our lives, the daily stress, anxiety, work, home, etc. The Psalms are full of wisdom and truth, when we are in the dark the light is waiting to be revealed just believe!!! Today’s prayer is that when we are in that dark valley we would use it as a learning experience and ask God to reveal the light, not make it a reason to turn the light off……..Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

THIS IS A TIME OF ABUNDANCE in your life. – PSALM 23 : 5, JOHN 3 : 16, LUKE 11 : 9 – 10, ROMANS 8 : 32

“THIS IS A TIME OF ABUNDANCE in your life. Your cup runneth over with blessings. After plodding uphill for many weeks, you are now traipsing through lush meadows drenched in warm sunshine. GOD wants you to enjoy this time of ease and refreshment to the fullest. GOD delights in providing it for you. Sometimes GOD’S children hesitate to receive HIS good gifts with open hands. Feelings of false guilt creep in, telling them they don’t deserve to be so richly blessed. This is nonsense-thinking, because no one deserves anything from GOD. GOD’S kingdom is not about earning and deserving; it’s about believing and receiving. When a child of GOD’S balks at accepting HIS gifts, The LORD is deeply grieved. When you receive GOD’S abundant blessings with a grateful heart, The LORD rejoices. GOD’S pleasure in giving and your pleasure in receiving flow together in joyous harmony.”

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. PSALM 23 : 5 (KJV)

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” JOHN 3 : 16

“So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.” LUKE 11 : 9 – 10

He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all— how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? ROMANS 8 : 32

Prayer: Jesus your grace removes my old identity and replaces it with a brand-new identity – a child of God. Thank you for adopting me into your family and lavishing me with blessings and a home for eternity. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭2:3-7‬

“Endure suffering along with me, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. Soldiers don’t get tied up in the affairs of civilian life, for then they cannot please the officer who enlisted them. And athletes cannot win the prize unless they follow the rules. And hardworking farmers should be the first to enjoy the fruit of their labor. Think about what I am saying. The Lord will help you understand all these things.” ‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭2:3-7‬ ‭

It’s so easy to get caught up in worldly situations! As Paul describes, we as Christians are enlisted by Christ Jesus as his soldiers, we are not to be shaken by the situation but to shake the situation!!!!! Today’s prayer is we would carry out our commission of Christ to the fullest and finish the race ……Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

DO NOT LET any set of circumstances intimidate you. – EPHESIANS 1 : 18 – 20, PSALM 105 : 4, DEUTERONOMY 33 : 25

“DO NOT LET any set of circumstances intimidate you. The more challenging your day, the more of HIS Power GOD places at your disposal. You seem to think that GOD empowers you equally each day, but this is not so. Your tendency upon awakening is to assess the difficulties ahead of you, measuring them against your average strength. This is an exercise in unreality. GOD knows what each of your days will contain, and GOD empowers you accordingly. The degree to which The LORD strengthens you on a given day is based mainly on two variables: the difficulty of your circumstances, and your willingness to depend on GOD for help. Try to view challenging days as opportunities to receive more of The LORD’S Power than usual. Look to GOD for all that you need, and watch to see what HE will do. As your day, so shall your strength be.”

I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms. EPHESIANS 1 : 18 – 20

Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always. PSALM 105 : 4

Your sandals shall be iron and bronze; As your days, so shall your strength be. DEUTERONOMY 33 : 25 (NKJV)

Prayer: God you know what challenges and triumphs are up ahead in my day today. When challenges come, which you told us they would, help me to view them as opportunities to receive more of your power and strength than usual. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Romans‬ ‭7:22-25‬

“I love God’s law with all my heart. But there is another power within me that is at war with my mind. This power makes me a slave to the sin that is still within me. Oh, what a miserable person I am! Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin and death? Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord. So you see how it is: In my mind I really want to obey God’s law, but because of my sinful nature I am a slave to sin.” Romans‬ ‭7:22-25‬ ‭

Life can throw curve balls at us all day long! We know what the right thing to do is, but we continue to do the complete opposite. Paul talks about God’s grace and the fact that even though we fall short we continue to stay in God’s good Grace. Today’s prayer is that we would let the Holy Spirit speak loud and clear to us and we would apply that instruction to our daily lives…..Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

FOCUS YOUR ENTIRE BEING on GOD’S living Presence. – PSALM 89 : 15 – 16, 1 JOHN 3 : 19 – 20, JUDE 24 – 25, PSALM 41 : 12

“FOCUS YOUR ENTIRE BEING on GOD’S living Presence. GOD is most assuredly with you, enveloping you in HIS Love and Peace. While you relax in GOD’S Presence, GOD is molding your mind and cleansing your heart. The LORD is recreating you into the one HE designed you to be. As you move from stillness into the activities of your day, do not relinquish your attentiveness to GOD. If something troubles you, talk it over with GOD. If you get bored with what you are doing, fill the time with prayers and praise. When someone irritates you, don’t let your thoughts linger on that person’s faults. Gently nudge your mind back to The LORD. Every moment is precious if you keep your focus on GOD. Any day can be a good day, because GOD’S Presence permeates all time.”

Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, O LORD. They rejoice in your name all day long; they exult in your righteousness. PSALM 89 : 15 – 16

This then is how we know that we belong to the truth, and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence whenever our hearts condemn us. For God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything. 1 JOHN 3 : 19 – 20

To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy— to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen. JUDE 24 – 25

In my integrity you uphold me and set me in your presence forever. PSALM 41 : 12

Prayer: Lord while I relax in your presence, thank you for molding my mind and cleansing my heart. As I move into the activities of my day, help me to keep my focus on you Jesus and remember you have sealed me for eternity. Nothing can change the end of my story. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
