2 Corinthians‬ ‭4 : 16

“That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day.” ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭4 : 16‬ ‭NLT‬‬

As we get older the mind says it’s easy to give up! But as Christians we should know these vessels are just temporary. The daily renewing of the spirit is what we should bank on! And the only way too renew is to stay in The Word. Today I pray that all would start their day by at least spending 30 minutes in GOD’S Word and see if the difference not only applies to your attitude but also your health and well being …… Be Blessed.

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5 : 17

“BE WILLING TO FOLLOW wherever GOD leads. Follow GOD wholeheartedly, with glad anticipation quickening your pace. Though you don’t know what lies ahead, GOD knows; and that is enough! Some of The LORD’S richest blessings are just around the bend: out of sight, but nonetheless very real. To receive these gifts, you must walk by faith -— not by sight. This doesn’t mean closing your eyes to what is all around you. It means subordinating the visible world to the invisible Shepherd of your soul. Sometimes GOD leads you up a high mountain with only HIS hand to support you. The higher you climb, the more spectacular the view becomes; also, the more keenly you sense your separation from the world with all its problems. This frees you to experience exuberantly the joyous reality of GOD’S Presence. Give yourself fully to these Glory-moments, awash in dazzling Light. The LORD will eventually lead you down the mountain, back into community with others. Let GOD’S Light continue to shine within you as you walk among people again.”

Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and glory are in his sanctuary. PSALM 96 : 6 

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” JOHN 8 : 12 

For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light. PSALM 36 : 9

Prayer

Prayer: Lord, give me a willing heart to follow wherever You lead, even when I can’t see what’s ahead. Help me walk by faith, savor the joy of Your Presence on the mountaintops, and let Your light shine through me when I return to community with others. Amen.

‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5 : 1

“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5 : 1‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Before we knew Jesus Christ we were prisoners to the world, after Jesus Christ we are set free from all the strongholds we once had. This scripture tells us to stand firm and know that we are free!!! Today’s prayer is that when we feel weak don’t turn away SEEK the love of Jesus Christ and HE will always remind us of our freedom in HIM ……. Be Blessed

“WHEN MANY THINGS SEEM to be going wrong, trust GOD. When your life feels increasingly out of control, thank GOD. These are supernatural responses, and they can lift you above your circumstances. If you do what comes naturally in the face of difficulties, you may fall prey to negativism. Even a few complaints can set you on a path that is a downward spiral, by darkening your perspective and mind-set. With this attitude controlling you, complaints flow more and more readily from your mouth. Each one moves you steadily down the slippery spiral. The lower you go, the faster you slide; but it is still possible to apply brakes. Cry out to THE LORD in HIS Name! Affirm your trust in The LORD, regardless of how you feel. Thank GOD for Everything, though this seems unnatural — even irrational. Gradually you will begin to ascend, recovering your lost ground. When you are back on ground level, you can face your circumstances from a humble perspective. If you choose supernatural responses this time — trusting and thanking GOD — you will experience The LORD’S unfathomable Peace.”

But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. PSALM 13 : 5

. . . always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. EPHESIANS 5 : 20

Prayer

Prayer: Lord, when life feels chaotic and out of control, help me choose to trust and thank You instead of complaining. Teach me to respond with faith so I can rise above my circumstances and experience Your steady peace. Amen

James‬ ‭3 : 2 – 5

“We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check. When we put bits into the mouths of horses to make them obey us, we can turn the whole animal. Or take ships as an example. Although they are so large and are driven by strong winds, they are steered by a very small rudder wherever the pilot wants to go. Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark.” ‭‭James‬ ‭3 : 2 – 5‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Are the words you’re speaking into people’s lives edifying or damning? From the “good morning” to the “what’s wrong with you idiot? “. James speaks clearly about the power of the tongue in this scripture just how powerful one little word can affect someone. Today’s prayer is that we would all let God put a bit in our mouths or a rudder on our tongue, that we would edify people no matter how we feel. When someone wrongs you hand it over to God and bite down on that bit …….. Be Blessed and tell someone “Good Morning”

Titus‬ ‭2 : 11‬

“For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men,” ‭‭Titus‬ ‭2 : 11‬ ‭NASB‬‬

Not one of us is different when it comes to the opportunity of receiving salvation. The difference begins when we choose to reject what Jesus Christ did on the Cross. Jesus Christ died that day so that all of us could be set free from the of bondage and sin that we were born into, the sad truth is that many will reject the opportunity. Today’s prayer is that we would be a living testimony to what our salvation has done and is doing in our lives every single day …… Be Blessed

Isaiah‬ ‭40 : ‭31‬

“but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭40 : ‭31‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Life will throw many things your way! Life will leave you feeling like giving up! Life is life!!! But God is God. Hope is a very misunderstood word, Hope has a name – Jesus Christ!!! Today’s prayer is that we would only hope in Jesus Christ and not the trials of the world, the trials will steal your hope, the Hope will cover all ….. Be Blessed

Nor can another person know the intimacies of your heart, mind, and spirit. GOD knows everything about you — even to the number of hairs on your head. You don’t need to work at revealing yourself to The LORD. Many people spend a lifetime or a small fortune searching for someone who understands them. Yet The LORD is freely available to all who call upon HIS Name, who open their hearts to receive The LORD as Savior. This simple act of faith is the beginning of a lifelong love story. GOD, the Lover of your soul, understands you perfectly and loves you eternally.”

Prayer

Prayer: Lord thank you for your intimate nearness and your continual presence with me. I’m in awe that the creator of the universe wants to be in an intimate relationship with me. Thank you for speaking to me continually. Help me to listen. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

“For the LORD is righteous, He loves righteousness; His countenance beholds the upright.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭11 : 7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Oh to be pleasing to God, HE loves when we become more like HIS SO. The way we think determines the way we act, for example if we look at the negative in all situations we will become negative, if we look at the positives we will become positive. Today’s prayer is that we would be bright witnesses to the positive change having Jesus Christ as the cornerstone in our lives and let all know it’s waiting for them as well ……. Be Blessed

WORSHIP GOD ONLY. | 1 TIMOTHY 6 : 15 – 16, ISAIAH 55 : 8 – 9, REVELATION 2 : 4, MATTHEW 11 : 28

“WORSHIP GOD ONLY. GOD is King of kings and Lord of lords, dwelling in unapproachable Light. GOD is taking care of you! GOD is not only committed to caring for you, but HE is also absolutely capable of doing so. Rest in The LORD, weary one, for this is a form of worship. Though self-flagellation has gone out of style, many of GOD’S children drive themselves like racehorses. They whip themselves into action, ignoring how exhausted they are. They forget that The LORD is sovereign and that HIS ways are higher than theirs. Underneath their driven service, they may secretly resent GOD as a harsh taskmaster. Their worship of GOD is lukewarm, because The LORD is no longer their First Love. GOD’S invitation never changes: Come to GOD, all you who are weary, and The LORD will give you rest. Worship GOD by resting peacefully in HIS Presence.”

. . . which God will bring about in his own time—God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen. 1 TIMOTHY 6 : 15 – 16 

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” ISAIAH 55 : 8 – 9 

Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken your first love. REVELATION 2 : 4 

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” MATTHEW 11 : 28

Prayer

Prayer: God, teach me to worship you by resting in you. Help me to go about my day the way Jesus Chris did – intentional yet unhurried and patient when detours come. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
