Luke 15:1-7

Now the tax collectors and sinners were all gathering around to hear Jesus. But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law muttered, “This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.” Then Jesus told them this parable: “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent. Luke 15:1-7 NIV

Jesus knew the hearts of his sheep, he also knew the reason he was sent to earth. The Bible says he did not come to condemn the world, but to save the world. Jesus knew the sinners needed to be near to see the miracles that he was to perform. Today I pray that we can show the same love to the sinner and win souls for Jesus……tell someone who is a non believer your awesome testimony ……..Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

1 Corinthians 2:12

What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. 1 Corinthians 2:12 NIV

The spirit of the world says you can’t do this, you can’t overcome that sickness, you can’t break that stronghold, but the Holy Spirit of God that lives inside of us gives us everything of the finished works that Jesus took upon himself at Calvary. The finished works include healing, prosperity, freedom from strongholds and freedom from sin…… Today I pray that we all take hold of the spirit that dwells inside of us and live in the finished works of Jesus Christ…….Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

STOP TRYING TO WORK THINGS OUT before their times have come. – ECCLESIASTES 3 : 1, JOHN 16 : 33

“STOP TRYING TO WORK THINGS OUT before their times have come. Accept the limitations of living one day at a time. When something comes to your attention, ask GOD whether or not it is part of today’s agenda. If it isn’t, release it into GOD’S care and go on about today’s duties. When you follow this practice, there will be a beautiful simplicity about your life: a time for everything, and everything in its time. A life lived close to GOD is not complicated or cluttered. When your focus is on The LORD’S Presence, many things that once troubled you lose their power over you. Though the world around you is messy and confusing, remember that The LORD has overcome the world. GOD has told you these things, so that in The LORD you may have Peace.”

Scripture

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven. ECCLESIASTES 3 : 1

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” JOHN 16 : 33

Prayer

Prayer: Jesus, help me to remember today, on Good Friday – the greatest sacrifice ever made. Thank you for paying my debt in full, I can hardly fathom. Though this broken world is messy and confusing, I tuck myself in your sweet presence where life is simple, my eternity is secure, and all is well with my soul. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 1 Peter 2:9 NIV

God calls us a royal priesthood, a chosen people, what an honor that with all the baggage from our past and present that God views us this way. When Jesus died on the cross his precious blood made it possible for God to see us this way……. Today I pray we all would embrace the mercy and love from the Father and see ourselves the way God sees us ………..Be Blessed

THE LORD IS A GOD WHO GIVES and gives and gives. – PHILIPPIANS 2 : 17, MARK 10 : 15, ISAIAH 26 : 3

“THE LORD IS A GOD WHO GIVES and gives and gives. When The LORD, JESUS CHRIST died for you on the cross, The LORD held back nothing; HE poured out HIS Life like a drink offering. Because giving is inherent in JESUS CHRIST’S nature, GOD searches for people who are able to receive in full measure. To increase your intimacy with GOD, the two traits you need the most are receptivity and attentiveness. Receptivity is opening up your innermost being to be filled with GOD’S abundant riches. Attentiveness is directing your gaze to The LORD: searching for HIM in all your moments. It is possible to stay your mind on GOD, as the prophet Isaiah wrote. Through such attentiveness you receive a glorious gift: GOD’S perfect Peace.”

Scripture

But even if I am being poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and service coming from your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you. PHILIPPIANS 2 : 17

“I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” MARK 10 : 15

You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You. ISAIAH 26 : 3 (NKJV)

Prayer

Prayer: Lord thank you for your extravagant generosity. Help me to be more like Jesus Christ this week, to be open to wherever you lead, and attentive to your voice and calling. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

John 3:18

“He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:18 NKJV

Take joy today knowing that there is no condemnation in you!!!! Your judgement came at the cross, all of your sins have been forgiven. The hardest thing for a believer is to wrap their arms around the fact that all is forgiven!!!!!! Today I pray that all would be quick to repent when we slip up and realize that God’s love never changes………..Be Blessed

BE STILL IN GOD’S PRESENCE, even though countless tasks clamor for your attention. – ROMANS 12 : 2, REVELATION 2 : 4, COLOSSIANS 1 : 27

“BE STILL IN GOD’S PRESENCE, even though countless tasks clamor for your attention. Nothing is as important as spending time with GOD. While you wait in The LORD’S Presence, GOD does HIS best work within you: transforming you by the renewing of your mind. If you skimp on this time with GOD, you may plunge headlong into the wrong activities, missing the richness of what HE has planned for you. Do not seek The LORD primarily for what HE can give you. Remember that GOD, the Giver, is infinitely greater than any gift HE might impart to you. Though GOD delights in blessing HIS children, GOD is deeply grieved when HIS blessings become idols in their hearts. Anything can be an idol if it distracts you from The LORD as your First Love. When GOD is the ultimate Desire of your heart, you are safe from the danger of idolatry. As you wait in GOD’S Presence, enjoy the greatest gift of all: Christ in you, the hope of Glory!”

Scripture

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. ROMANS 12 : 2

Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken your first love. REVELATION 2 : 4

To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. COLOSSIANS 1 : 27

Prayer

Prayer: God I know that nothing is as important as spending time with you. Help me to push back the clamor and to do lists of the day and sit in your presence, resting with you and in you. What a precious gift. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

1 John 2 : 16 – 17

For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever. 1 John 2 : 16 – 17 NLT

What are your priorities? What makes you happy? In today’s society you are measured by what you have, where you live, and what you drive, as Christians we should not measure ourselves by material things but be thankful for our salvation…..God wants to bless us with nice things but he doesn’t ever want us to put them in front of him…….Be Blessed

WAITING ON GOD means directing your attention to GOD in hopeful anticipation of what HE will do. – LAMENTATIONS 3 : 24 – 26, ISAIAH 40 : 31, PSALM 16 : 11

“WAITING ON GOD means directing your attention to GOD in hopeful anticipation of what HE will do. It entails trusting The LORD with every fiber of your being, instead of trying to figure things out yourself. Waiting on GOD is the way HE designed you to live: all day, every day. GOD created you to stay conscious of HIM as you go about your daily duties. The LORD has promised many blessings to those who wait on HIM: renewed strength, living above one’s circumstances, resurgence of hope, awareness of The LORD’S continual Presence. Waiting on GOD enables you to glorify HIM by living in deep dependence on The LORD, ready to do HIS will. It also helps you to enjoy GOD; in GOD’S Presence is fullness of Joy.”

Scripture

I say to myself, “The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.” The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD. LAMENTATIONS 3 : 24 – 26

But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. ISAIAH 40 : 31

You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. PSALM 16 : 11 (NKJV)

Prayer

Prayer: Lord help me to trust you with every fiber of my being and wait in hopeful anticipation for you to move. I’m ready to do your will, I surrender my will to yours. Show me any area of my life I’m still controlling. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Psalm‬ ‭4:8

“In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭4:8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Do you know that feeling when you have complete serene peace? That complete feeling of safety? That complete feeling of joy? That is when you are completely in Jesus!!! Our salvation should always bring us peace, safety, and joy. Today I pray that we all would take our right place in Jesus the author and finisher of our faith……..Be Blessed
