2 Corinthians 1 : 3 – 4

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 2 Corinthians 1 : 3 – 4 NKJV

Our best witness is our testimony, when a nonbeliever is going through a hard time, comfort them with your testimony. We all have a time in our lives when we didn’t know how we were gonna make it through but by the grace and mercy of God here we are. Let us never forget that awesome feeling that we once had about using the words of The Lord to bring comfort and peace!!!! One for others and two for ourselves …….. Be Blessed

GOD IS ABLE to do far beyond all that you ask or imagine. – EPHESIANS 3 : 20– 21, ROMANS 8 : 6, ISAIAH 40 : 30 – 31, REVELATION 5 : 13

“GOD IS ABLE to do far beyond all that you ask or imagine. Come to GOD with positive expectations, knowing that there is no limit to what The LORD can accomplish. Ask GOD’S Holy Spirit to control your mind, so that you can think great thoughts of HIM. Do not be discouraged by the fact that many of your prayers are yet unanswered. Time is a trainer, teaching you to wait upon GOD, to trust HIM in the dark. The more extreme your circumstances, the more likely you are to see The LORD’S Power and Glory at work in the situation. Instead of letting difficulties draw you into worrying, try to view them as setting the scene for GOD’S glorious intervention. Keep your eyes and your mind wide open to all that GOD is doing in your life.”

Prayer

Prayer: God thank you for always going far beyond anything I could ask or imagine. Holy Spirit control my mind, so I can think great thoughts of You. And help me to view trials as setting the scene for your glorious intervention. Keep my eyes open to all you are doing this week. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

2 Corinthians‬ ‭1 : 4‬

It is so important to witness to everyone we can! The world is broken and needs Jesus. The same love and mercy is available to everyone and it’s our job as Christians to spread the good news. Today’s prayer is that we would have the direction of the Holy Spirit to tell everyone about what Jesus has done in our lives …… Be Blessed

“REFRESH YOURSELF in the Peace of GOD’S Presence. This Peace can be your portion at all times and in all circumstances. Learn to hide in the secret of GOD’S Presence, even as you carry out your duties in the world. GOD is both with you and within you. The LORD goes before you to open up the way, and HE also walks alongside you. There could never be another companion as devoted as GOD is. Because GOD is your constant Companion, there should be a lightness to your step that is observable to others. Do not be weighed down with problems and unresolved issues, for The LORD is your burden-bearer. In the world you have trials and distress, but don’t let them get you down. The LORD has conquered the world and deprived it of power to harm you. In The LORD you may have confident Peace.”

Prayer

Prayer: Lord thank you for being my most devoted companion who paves the path for me, holds my hand, and is in me and with me at all times. Hide me in the secret place of your presence today Lord and fill me with your peace. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

2 Thessalonians‬ ‭3 : 5‬

The Bible says the condition of a man’s heart defines him, what is the condition of your heart? Do you give, expecting anything in return? Do you help out but complain? God knows our heart even though we can camouflage it. Today’s prayer is that we would have the heart of Jesus, all giving and giving with nothing but love never expecting anything in return ……. Isn’t it nice to know that the Lord keeps no record of our sin, can you imagine if he did? We would be in a world of trouble. Today’s prayer is that we would walk in obedience of the Lord and his ways, never take advantage of the Cross, but take the time daily to thank God for the Cross …… Be Blessed

Genesis‬ ‭3 : 3 – 5

““It’s only the fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden that we are not allowed to eat. God said, ‘You must not eat it or even touch it; if you do, you will die.’” “You won’t die!” the serpent replied to the woman. “God knows that your eyes will be opened as soon as you eat it, and you will be like God, knowing both good and evil.”” ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭3 : 3 – 5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Deception is something we deal with everyday. When we know not to do something but do it anyway something has convinced us that it is OK. In this scripture the Devil convinced Eve that it was OK to eat of the fruit because what God had told her was false, but that could not have been further from the truth. Today’s prayer is that we would always know that the example that God has set for us is nothing but truth!!! Stand strong in the truth you know and resist the Devil and he has to flee ……. Be Blessed

RELAX IN GOD’S HEALING PRESENCE. – PSALM 105 : 4, LUKE 10 : 39 – 42

“RELAX IN GOD’S HEALING PRESENCE. As you spend time with GOD, your thoughts tend to jump ahead to today’s plans and problems. Bring your mind back to The LORD for refreshment and renewal. Let the Light of GOD’S Presence soak into you, as you focus your thoughts on HIM. Thus GOD equips you to face whatever the day brings. This sacrifice of time pleases The LORD and strengthens you. Do not skimp on your time together. Resist the clamor of tasks waiting to be done. You have chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from you.”

She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said. But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!” “Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.” LUKE 10 : 39 – 42

Personal Note

I know the struggle of spending time with The LORD can be. Due to the nature of my job I sometimes wake up to requests of tasks needing to be done on an urgent basis. My desire to take care of work quickly sometimes is a distraction to my daily time spent with The LORD in the morning. It is hard sometimes to say to myself “Task / Person X can wait while I spend time in prayer / Bible study” – Some days / tasks are easier to set aside than others

Prayer

Prayer: Lord, help me rest in Your healing presence. Teach me to set aside the rush of daily tasks and choose what is better—time with You. In Your presence, You reveal what truly matters and provide the strength, my daily bread, to accomplish it well. With You, I can do less and accomplish more. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬ :‭ 17‬

“This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬ :‭ 17‬ ‭

It’s a New Year and 2024 is gone!!! 2025 is a New Year just as we are when we found Jesus!!! It’s up to us how we choose to navigate 2025, do we do it ourselves or do we turn to the Father for direction? Today’s prayer is that 2025 would be a year of blessings, growing, getting closer to God so we can look back on 2025 when it’s over and just smile …… Be Blessed and Happy New Year all

COME TO THE LORD with a teachable spirit, eager to be changed. – ROMANS 12 : 2, JEREMIAH 29 : 11

“COME TO THE LORD with a teachable spirit, eager to be changed. A close walk with GOD is a life of continual newness. Do not cling to old ways as you step into a new year. Instead, seek The LORD’S Face with an open mind, knowing that your journey with GOD involves being transformed by the renewing of your mind. As you focus your thoughts on GOD, be aware that GOD is fully attentive to you. The LORD sees you with a steady eye, because HIS attention span is infinite. GOD knows and understands you completely; GOD’S thoughts embrace you in everlasting Love. The LORD also knows the plans HE has for you: plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Give yourself fully to this adventure of increasing attentiveness to GOD’S Presence.”

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. ROMANS 12 : 2

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” JEREMIAH 29 : 11

Prayer

Prayer: God help me to have a teachable spirit, ready to be changed this year. To seek your face with an open mind, eager to be transformed by the renewing of my mind. Then I will be able to know what your will is for me Lord. Your good, pleasing, and perfect will. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
