The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David! Luke 2:11 NLT
Today is not only a day of presents and time with family but most important it’s about celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior. Today’s prayer is that we all have a day of peace and joy with our loved ones and reflect on the true meaning of why we celebrate Christmas….. Merry Christmas to all and Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“AS YOU WAIT attentively in The LORD’S Presence, the Light of the knowledge of GOD’S Glory shines upon you. This radiant knowledge transcends all understanding. It transforms every fiber of your being: renewing your mind, cleansing your heart, invigorating your body. Open yourself fully to GOD’S Presence; be awed by HIS glorious Being. Try to imagine what JESUS CHRIST gave up when The LORD came to earth as a baby. The LORD set aside HIS Glory, so that HE could identify with mankind. JESUS CHRIST, The LORD accepted the limitations of infancy under the most appalling conditions—a filthy stable. Angels lit up the sky proclaiming “Glory!” to awe-struck shepherds. As you identify with The LORD, heaven’s vistas open up before you—granting you glimpses of GOD’S Glory. JESUS CHRIST became poor so that you might become rich. Sing hallelujahs to GOD’S holy Name!”
Scripture
For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. 2 CORINTHIANS 4 : 6
Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. PHILIPPIANS 2 : 6 – 7
Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests.” LUKE 2 : 13 – 14
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich. 2 CORINTHIANS 8 : 9
Prayer
Prayer: Lord, provide healing, peace, and joy in knowing you are the reason for celebrating today. And oh what a great reason it is indeed. Thank you Jesus for your incredible sacrifice to leave Heaven, coming to earth to live a sinless life and be the perfect sacrifice to provide the way back to God for eternity. Amen.
When they saw the star, they were filled with joy! They entered the house and saw the child with his mother, Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasure chests and gave him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Matthew 2:10 -11
From his first hours Jesus was receiving gifts, the greatest gift we can give him is our worship, give him ourselves completely. Today I pray on the eve of our savior’s birth that we give him our complete worship and thank him for all he has done in our lives…….Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.” 1 John 4:7-8 NLT
I believe love is one of the most misunderstood words in the English language!!! Love is known by your actions, by your demeanor, by how people view you. God is love and love for a Christian has to be the same love that Jesus showed to Everyone!!!! Not who you choose. Today’s prayer is that we would love all!!! Yes all whether or not they have wronged you or righted you Love is God…….Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.” Colossians 1:13-14 NASB
Remember when you didn’t belong to Jesus? Your life had a very trivial meaning. The life you lived in sin was destined for an eternity of doom!! But now you have a life of eternity in heaven. Today’s prayer is that we would always give thanks to God for the precious gift that he has given us…….Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“COME TO THE LORD, and rest in HIS Presence. As you ponder the majestic mystery of the Incarnation, relax in The LORD’S everlasting arms. The LORD, JESUS CHRIST is the only Person who was ever sired by the Holy Spirit. This is beyond your understanding. Instead of trying to comprehend JESUS CHRIST’S Incarnation intellectually, learn from the example of the wise men. They followed the leading of a spectacular star, then fell down in humble worship when they found The LORD, JESUS. Praise and worship are the best responses to the wonder of The LORD’S Being. Sing praises to HIS holy Name. Gaze at The LORD in silent adoration. Look for a star of guidance in your own life, and be willing to follow wherever HE leads. JESUS CHRIST is the Light from on high that dawns upon you, to guide your feet into the way of Peace.”
Scripture
The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.” LUKE 1 : 35
The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. JOHN 1 : 14
When they heard the king, they departed; and behold, the star which they had seen in the East went before them, till it came and stood over where the young Child was. When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy. And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh. MATTHEW 2 : 9 – 11 (NKJV)
Prayer
Prayer: Lord, I come to you and rest in your presence. Open my eyes to see your star of guidance in my life and help me to have the courage to follow wherever you lead. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
“Don’t be afraid, O land. Be glad now and rejoice, for the Lord has done great things.” Joel 2:21 NLT
The condition of the world makes us think there is no hope! But in reality there is nothing but hope, God has done a great work in the land and in us. Today’s prayer is that no matter how bad it looks remember God has blessed us with all that we need and our great hope is in Jesus…….Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“COME TO GOD with your gaping emptiness, knowing that in GOD you are complete. As you rest quietly in The LORD’S Presence, HIS Light within you grows brighter and brighter. Facing the emptiness inside you is simply the prelude to being filled with GOD’S fullness. Therefore, rejoice on those days when you drag yourself out of bed, feeling sluggish and inadequate. Tell yourself that this is a perfect day to depend on GOD in childlike trust. If you persevere in this dependence as you go through the day, you will discover at bedtime that Joy and Peace have become your companions. You may not realize at what point they joined you on your journey, but you will feel the beneficial effects of their presence. The perfect end to such a day is a doxology of gratitude. GOD is He from whom all blessings flow!”
Scripture
For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. 2 CORINTHIANS 4 : 6
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. . . . Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.” MATTHEW 5 : 3,6
For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the head over every power and authority. COLOSSIANS 2 : 9 – 10
Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD. PSALM 150 : 6
Prayer
Prayer: In you Lord I am complete. Help me to depend on you with childlike trust and allow your joy and peace to become my companions no matter what is going on around me. From you all blessings flow. Help me to do my part and follow you with all my heart. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
“For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.” 1 Corinthians 2:2 NKJV
Do you take credit for all you accomplish? I believe that we play a certain role in our achievements but Jesus is the reason we are able to have anything. The biggest and only achievement we as Christians should boast about is Christ and Christ alone. Today’s prayer is that we would acknowledge God in all we do and in all we achieve…….Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“WHEN THE LORD, JESUS CHRIST JOINED THE RANKS of humanity, born into the humblest conditions, The LORD’S Glory was hidden from all but a few people. Occasionally, streaks of Glory shone out of JESUS CHRIST, especially when The LORD began to do miracles. Toward the end of JESUS CHRIST’S life, HE was taunted and tempted to display more of HIS awesome Power than GOD, The Father’s plan permitted. JESUS CHRIST could have called down legions of angels to rescue HIM at any point. Imagine the self-control required of a martyr who could free Himself at will! All of this was necessary to provide the relationship with GOD, The FATHER that you now enjoy. Let your life become a praise song to CHRIST, THE LORD by proclaiming HIS glorious Presence in the world.”
Scripture
This, the first of his miraculous signs, Jesus performed in Cana of Galilee. He thus revealed his glory, and his disciples put their faith in him. JOHN 2 : 11
The people stood watching, and the rulers even sneered at him. They said, “He saved others; let him save himself if he is the Christ of God, the Chosen One.” The soldiers also came up and mocked him. They offered him wine vinegar. . . . LUKE 23 : 35 – 36
It is good to praise the LORD and make music to your name, O Most High, to proclaim your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night, to the music of the ten-stringed lyre and the melody of the harp. For you make me glad by your deeds, O LORD; I sing for joy at the works of your hands. How great are your works, O LORD, how profound your thoughts! PSALM 92 : 1 – 5
Prayer
Prayer: Father, may your life be my praise song and your light shine brightly through me. Don’t let me miss Your sacrifice this Christmas season. Help me to simplify my activities and traditions so I can focus my celebration on your coming Jesus. Amen.
