Matthew‬ ‭13 : 24 – 30

“Jesus told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared. “The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then, did the weeds come from?’ “ ‘An enemy did this,’ he replied. “The servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’ “ ‘No,’ he answered, ‘because while you are pulling the weeds, you may uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.’ ” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭13 : 24 – 30‬ ‭NIV‬‬

This parable has always ministered to me in an eye opening way. This relates to choice, The choice to believe or not believe. To live among the weeds can be a negative or a positive, if we take the opportunity to witness the Gospel it’s a positive, if we choose to let them affect us then it becomes a negative. Today’s prayer is that we would understand that God leaves the weeds until his time comes, God wants not one to Be lost but all to be saved……. Take the opportunity to witness and Be Blessed

LET THANKFULNESS RULE in your heart. – COLOSSIANS 3 : 15 , ACTS 9 : 18, REVELATION 19 : 5 – 6, PSALM 100 : 4 – 5

LET THANKFULNESS RULE in your heart. As you thank GOD for blessings in your life, a marvelous thing happens. It is as if scales fall off your eyes, enabling you to see more and more of GOD’S glorious riches. With your eyes thus opened, you can help yourself to whatever you need from The LORD’S treasure house. Each time you receive one of GOD’S golden gifts, let your thankfulness sing out praises to HIS Name. “Hallelujahs” are the language of heaven, and they can become the language of your heart. A life of praise and thankfulness becomes a life filled with miracles. Instead of trying to be in control, focus on GOD and what HE is doing. This is the power of praise: centering your entire being in GOD. This is how The LORD created you to live, for GOD made you in HIS own image. Enjoy abundant life by overflowing with praise and thankfulness.”

Scripture

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. COLOSSIANS 3 : 15

Immediately, something like scales fell from Saul’s eyes, and he could see again. He got up and was baptized. ACTS 9 : 18

Then a voice came from the throne, saying: “Praise our God, all you his servants, you who fear him, both small and great!” Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting: “Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns.” REVELATION 19 : 5 – 6

Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. PSALM 100 : 4 – 5

Prayer

Prayer: Lord let thankfulness rule in my heart. The more I’m grateful the more you open my eyes to see even more of your glorious riches. May praise and thankfulness be the language of my heart so I can live the abundant life you created me for. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭91 : 1 – 16

“Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him. For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease. He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection. Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day. Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday. Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you. Just open your eyes, and see how the wicked are punished. If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone. You will trample upon lions and cobras; you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet! The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name. When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation.””
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭91 : 1 – 16‬ ‭NLT‬‬

This scripture is so important to meditate on right now! If you’re battling stress, worry, uncertainty, or anything that has you preoccupied. Today’s prayer is we would all take this time to bring with our families and truly trust that God Almighty will provide and carry us through it ….. Be Blessed

THIS IS THE DAY THAT GOD HAS MADE! – PSALM 118 : 24, PSALM 116 : 17

“THIS IS THE DAY THAT GOD HAS MADE! As you rejoice in this day of life, it will yield up to you precious gifts and beneficial training. Walk with GOD along the high road of thanksgiving, and you will find all the delights The LORD has made ready for you. To protect your thankfulness, you must remember that you reside in a fallen world, where blessings and sorrows intermingle freely. A constant focus on adversity defeats many Christians. They walk through a day that is brimming with beauty and brightness, seeing only the grayness of their thoughts. Neglecting the practice of giving thanks has darkened their minds. How precious are GOD’S children who remember to thank HIM at all times. They can walk through the darkest days with Joy in their hearts because they know that the Light of The LORD’S Presence is still shining on them. Rejoice on this day that GOD has made, for The LORD is your steadfast Companion.”

This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. PSALM 118 : 24

I will sacrifice a thank offering to you and call on the name of the LORD. PSALM 116 : 17

Prayer: God thank you for another day waking up. This is the day you have made, let me rejoice and be glad in it. Open my eyes to see your beauty and light today. Thank you for being my steadfast companion. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17 : 7

““But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17 : 7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Sometimes things get so crazy we forget who is in control and has our back. God’s promise is just this. Today’s prayer is that we would put all of our trust and confidence in the Lord, no matter how tough things get, turn to him and find perfect peace ……. Be Blessed

THANK GOD FREQUENTLY as you journey through today. – 1 THESSALONIANS 5 : 16 – 18, JAMES 4 : 8, ROMANS 15 : 13

“THANK GOD FREQUENTLY as you journey through today. This practice makes it possible to pray without ceasing, as the apostle Paul taught. If you are serious about learning to pray continually, the best approach is to thank GOD in every situation. These thankful prayers provide a solid foundation on which you can build all your other prayers. Moreover, a grateful attitude makes it easier for you to communicate with The LORD. When your mind is occupied with thanking GOD, you have no time for worrying or complaining. If you practice thankfulness consistently, negative thought patterns will gradually grow weaker and weaker. Draw near to The LORD with a grateful heart, and GOD’S Presence will fill you with Joy and Peace.”

Scripture

Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1 THESSALONIANS 5 : 16 – 18 (KJV)

Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. JAMES 4 : 8

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. ROMANS 15 : 13

Prayer

Prayer: God, I draw near to you today with a grateful heart. Fill me with the fruit of the Spirit today – love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, and self-control. And may your fruit overflow onto everyone I encounter today. For your glory. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

2 Corinthians‬ ‭5 : 10‬

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭5 : 10‬ ‭

As believers all of our sins were judged at The Cross! But the second judgement will come before Jesus himself. That judgement will be for what we did as believers, did you just use your salvation as fire insurance? Or did you use your salvation to witness the gospel to all you could? Today’s prayer is that we would all use what God gave us to operate in a way that brings glory to GOD ……. Be Blessed

A THANKFUL ATTITUDE opens windows of heaven. – HABAKKUK 3 : 17 – 18, PSALM 46 : 1

“A THANKFUL ATTITUDE opens windows of heaven. Spiritual blessings fall freely onto you through those openings into eternity. Moreover, as you look up with a grateful heart, you get glimpses of Glory through those windows. You cannot yet live in heaven, but you can experience foretastes of your ultimate home. Such samples of heavenly fare revive your hope. Thankfulness opens you up to these experiences, which then provide further reasons to be grateful. Thus, your path becomes an upward spiral: ever increasing in gladness. Thankfulness is not some sort of magic formula; it is the language of Love, which enables you to communicate intimately with GOD. A thankful mind-set does not entail a denial of reality with its plethora of problems. Instead, it rejoices in The LORD, your Savior, in the midst of trials and tribulations. The LORD is your refuge and strength, an ever-present and well-proved help in trouble.”

Scripture

Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior. HABAKKUK 3 : 17 – 18

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. PSALM 46 : 1

Prayer

Prayer: Lord no matter what goes on this week help me to have a thankful mind-set. To praise you on the mountain top and in the valley. May you be my focal point. Help me to be a reflection of Christ wherever I go. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

“so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8 : 4‬ ‭NASB‬‬

This scripture is very clear if your eyes are open! The law is not the speed limit or the don’t steal gum from the store!!! It’s God’s law of love. When we “walk in the flesh” it means to love the life we lived before Jesus, but to “walk in the spirit” is to know what’s wrong and right in the eyes of God and follow it. Today’s prayer is to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and walk upright in the eyes of God ……. Be Blessed

The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? Psalms 27 : 1 NKJV

It’s easy to worry or be afraid of certain situations but the Word says “whom shall we fear?”. Fear is not from God faith, trust and love are. Today’s prayer is when a situation arises remember this Psalm and trust in God’s love and protection for you……..Be Blessed
