“AS YOU LOOK into the day that stretches out before you, you see many choice-points along the way. The myriad possibilities these choices present can confuse you. Draw your mind back to the threshold of this day, where GOD stands beside you, lovingly preparing you for what is ahead. You must make your choices one at a time, since each is contingent upon the decision that precedes it. Instead of trying to create a mental map of your path through this day, focus on GOD’S loving Presence with you. GOD will equip you as you go, so that you can handle whatever comes your way. Trust GOD to supply what you need when you need it.”

Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, “The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.” The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD. LAMENTATIONS 3 : 22 – 26

Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! PSALM 34 : 8 (NKJV)

Prayer: Lord as I slow down and sit in your presence, reorient my mind to focus on you and not the myriad of choice-points that lie ahead. Thank you that your mercy is new every morning. You are my daily bread, my portion, my rock. And you are all I need. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth. For, There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message God gave to the world at just the right time. 1 Timothy‬ ‭2‬:‭1-6‬ NLT

Are you praying for someone you love? Are you praying for a casual friend? Are you praying for someone with a different belief other than Jesus? Are you praying for the leaders of the world? All of these should be on the prayer list. Paul was in prison in Rome yet he says pray for all because there is one God for all. Today I pray that we would all put aside any thought that someone does not need prayer, don’t just pray for friends and loved ones, pray for the non believer and the nations………Be Blessed

Trials are sometimes our best times!! Why? They draw us nearer to God!! We complain but we should rejoice! Why ? Because the Holy Spirit has us right where we should be. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. ISAIAH 40 : 29 – 31

Prayer: God I come to you with empty hands and an open heart. Align the desires of my heart to yours. May every word that comes out of my mouth be a pleasing aroma to you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

“WELCOME PROBLEMS as perspective-lifters. GOD’S children tend to sleepwalk through their days until they bump into an obstacle that stymies them. If you encounter a problem with no immediate solution, your response to that situation will take you either up or down. You can lash out at the difficulty, resenting it and feeling sorry for yourself. This will take you down into a pit of self-pity. Alternatively, the problem can be a ladder, enabling you to climb up and see your life from GOD’S perspective. Viewed from above, the obstacle that frustrated you is only a light and momentary trouble. Once your perspective has been heightened, you can look away from the problem altogether. Turn toward GOD, and see the Light of The LORD’S Presence shining upon you.”

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 CORINTHIANS 4 : 16 – 18

Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, O LORD. PSALM 89 : 15

Prayer: God help me to see problems as opportunities to see things from your perspective. Jesus told us in this life we will have trouble so prepare my heart for future trouble, Lord. I know when I spend time with you, I’m storing up credits to be used when trouble comes. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Circumstances are in flux, and the world seems to be whirling around you. The only way to keep your balance is to fix your eyes on GOD, the One who never changes. If you gaze too long at your circumstances, you will become dizzy and confused. Look to GOD, refreshing yourself in HIS Presence, and your steps will be steady and sure.”

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. HEBREWS 1 2 : 2

Sometimes it seems like the attacks are never ending, we are surrounded by evil all day every day, but in this scripture Paul writes take heart God will deliver us from all evil. Gods plan for us is not to suffer but to have peace and joy knowing what awaits us when this life is done.
