John‬ ‭20‬:‭3-9

Peter and the other disciple started out for the tomb. They were both running, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first. He stooped and looked in and saw the linen wrappings lying there, but he didn’t go in. Then Simon Peter arrived and went inside. He also noticed the linen wrappings lying there, while the cloth that had covered Jesus’ head was folded up and lying apart from the other wrappings. Then the disciple who had reached the tomb first also went in, and he saw and believed— for until then they still hadn’t understood the Scriptures that said Jesus must rise from the dead. John‬ ‭20‬:‭3-9‬ NLT

The hidden nugget in this scripture is the linen that covered Jesus’s face. In the Jewish tradition the servant would watch to see when his master was done with his meal, if the master got up from the table and wadded up his napkin it meant he was finished, if he folded it neatly it meant he was coming back. The linens that wrapped Jesus’s body were just lying there, but the linens that covered his face were folded neatly. Today’s prayer is that we all would stand on his promise, he rose and he is coming back……Be Blessed and Happy Easter

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

1 Peter‬ ‭5‬:‭10-11‬

In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation. All power to him forever! Amen. 1 Peter‬ ‭5‬:‭10-11‬ NLT

Grace is such an undeserved gift, everyday it amazes me that someone could love me that much. In a world full of selfishness we have a Father in Heaven that gives us all we need……Today I pray that we would all understand the love that Jesus has for us, he will restore us, support us, and strengthen us in all we do…..Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

TRUST GOD, and don’t be afraid. – ISAIAH 12 : 2, PSALM 61 : 2 – 4, 2 CORINTHIANS 3 : 18

“TRUST GOD, and don’t be afraid. Many things feel out of control. Your routines are not running smoothly. You tend to feel more secure when your life is predictable. Let GOD lead you to the rock that is higher than you and your circumstances. Take refuge in the shelter of GOD’S wings, where you are absolutely secure. When you are shaken out of your comfortable routines, grip The LORD’S hand tightly and look for growth opportunities. Instead of bemoaning the loss of your comfort, accept the challenge of something new. GOD leads you on from glory to glory, making you fit for HIS kingdom. Say yes to the ways The LORD works in your life. Trust GOD, and don’t be afraid.” “Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD, is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.” ISAIAH 12 : 2 From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the foe. I long to dwell in your tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of your wings. PSALM 61 : 2 – 4 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. 2 CORINTHIANS 3 : 18 (NKJV) Prayer: Jesus, on this Good Friday, I remember what you endured for me. Your death created a way for me to be adopted into your eternal family. You gave up everything to rescue me. Thank you, thank you sweet Jesus. In your precious name I pray. Amen.

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭103:22‬

“Praise the LORD, everything he has created, everything in all his kingdom. Let all that I am praise the LORD.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭103:22‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Sometimes we get so caught up in our daily lives we stop one day and think, when was the last time I gave thanks to God for all he does? Prayer and communication should be a by the hour thing with our Lord. Today’s prayer is that we all would give thanks and praise in all things to the Lord, good and bad because we know all Good comes from the Lord, and all the bad the Lord will turn to good for his glory………..Be Blessed and Praise

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

HEAVEN IS both present and future. – 1 CORINTHIANS 15 : 20 – 23, HEBREWS 6 : 19

“HEAVEN IS both present and future. As you walk along your life-path holding GOD’S hand, you are already in touch with the essence of heaven: nearness to GOD. You can also find many hints of heaven along your pathway, because the earth is radiantly alive with THE LORD’S Presence. Shimmering sunshine awakens your heart, gently reminding you of GOD’S brilliant Light. Birds and flowers, trees and skies evoke praises to GOD’S holy Name. Keep your eyes and ears fully open as you journey with The LORD. At the end of your life-path is an entrance to heaven. Only GOD knows when you will reach that destination, but HE is preparing you for it each step of the way. The absolute certainty of your heavenly home gives you Peace and Joy, to help you along your journey. You know that you will reach your home in GOD’S perfect timing: not one moment too soon or too late. Let the hope of heaven encourage you, as you walk along the path of Life with The LORD.”

But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. But each in his own turn: Christ, the first fruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him. 1 CORINTHIANS 15 : 20 – 23

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain. HEBREWS 6 : 19

Prayer: Lord thank you for the absolute certainty of my Heavenly home one day. Without Jesus’ covering my sins, that would not be possible. Thank you, thank you sweet Jesus. Help me to enjoy today’s journey because I know my future is secure. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Philippians‬ ‭2:7-8

“rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross!”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2:7-8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Wow and we have the audacity to complain as Christians? Jesus humbled himself to live on earth as a mere human and died so we could live!! Today I pray we all take a step back and analyze the way we are living and strive to be more like Jesus in all we do…….Be Blessed

‭‭1 John‬ ‭4:15

“If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God.” ‭‭1 John‬ ‭4:15‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Being a Christian is more than a mercy me t-shirt or a “not of this world” sticker on your car window. The true transformation is to embrace the Holy Spirit that lives within you. Jesus told us in the scripture that “He is leaving us the power of the Holy Spirit” – the internal GPS. Today’s prayer is that we would all listen to that internal gps and live our lives to please God………..Be Blessed

WHEN GOD GIVES YOU no special guidance, stay where you are. – COLOSSIANS 3 : 23, JOHN 15 : 5, PSALM 105 : 4

“WHEN GOD GIVES YOU no special guidance, stay where you are. Concentrate on doing your everyday tasks in awareness of GOD’S Presence with you. The Joy of The LORD’S Presence will shine on you, as you do everything for HIM. Thus you invite GOD into every aspect of your life. Through collaborating with GOD in all things, you allow HIS Life to merge with yours. This is the secret not only of joyful living but also of victorious living. GOD designed you to depend on HIM moment by moment, recognizing that apart from The LORD you can do nothing. Be thankful for quiet days, when nothing special seems to be happening. Instead of being bored by the lack of action, use times of routine to seek GOD’S Face. Although this is an invisible transaction, it speaks volumes in spiritual realms. Moreover, you are richly blessed when you walk trustingly with The LORD through the routines of your day.”

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men. COLOSSIANS 3 : 23

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” JOHN 15 : 5

Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always. PSALM 105 : 4

Prayer: Lord help me to concentrate on my everyday tasks in awareness of your presence with me. To abide in you while you prune away anything that doesn’t look like Jesus in me. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

‭‭Psalm‬ ‭90:12‬

“Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭90:12‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We all have a day that we will meet the Lord, are you living life with a just get by attitude or are you living life to the fullest for God? Today’s prayer is that we would approach every day with thanks and with a heart to serve the Lord with all our heart……..Be Blessed

TRUSTING GOD is a moment-by-moment choice. – EXODUS 1 : 22 – 25, PSALM 31 : 14

“TRUSTING GOD is a moment-by-moment choice. GOD’S people have not always understood this truth. After GOD performed miracles in the wilderness, HIS chosen children trusted HIM intensely—but only temporarily. Soon the grumbling began again, testing GOD’S patience to the utmost. Isn’t it often the same way with you? You trust GOD when things go well, when you see HIM working on your behalf. This type of trust flows readily within you, requiring no exertion of your will. When things go wrong, your trust-flow slows down and solidifies. You are forced to choose between trusting The LORD intentionally or rebelling: resenting HIS ways with you. This choice constitutes a fork in the road. Stay on the path of Life with The LORD, enjoying GOD’S Presence. Choose to trust The LORD in all circumstances.”

Then Moses led Israel from the Red Sea and they went into the Desert of Shur. For three days they traveled in the desert without finding water. When they came to Marah, they could not drink its water because it was bitter. (That is why the place is called Marah.) So the people grumbled against Moses, saying, “What are we to drink?” Then Moses cried out to the LORD, and the LORD showed him a piece of wood. He threw it into the water, and the water became sweet. There the LORD made a decree and a law for them, and there he tested them. EXODUS 1 : 22 – 25

But I trust in you, O LORD; I say, “You are my God.” PSALM 31 : 14

Prayer: Lord, I want to trust You in all circumstances. Through the highest mountains and the darkest valleys. You promise to be with me through it all. Help me to stay close to you as my rock, my strength, my everything – all the days of my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
