1 Corinthians‬ ‭7‬ : ‭35

I am saying this for your benefit, not to place restrictions on you. I want you to do whatever will help you serve the Lord best, with as few distractions as possible. 1 Corinthians‬ ‭7‬ : ‭35‬ NLT

This particular scripture is addressing marriage but I think it applies to all areas. Have you ever found yourself getting ready to read your Bible and the phone rings, doorbell, favorite movie you haven’t seen in years comes on? These are the distractions the devil loves for it keeps you out of the word and your Bible remains a dust collector……. Today I pray that each one of us would set aside special time with The Lord, read his word, praise his name, thank him for all you have. I pray that he will make a way for a quiet place with no distractions for you to have communion and relationship with him………Be Blessed

“REST WITH GOD A WHILE. You have journeyed up a steep, rugged path in recent days. The way ahead is shrouded in uncertainty. Look neither behind you nor before you. Instead, focus your attention on GOD, your constant Companion. Trust that The LORD will equip you fully for whatever awaits you on your journey. GOD designed time to be a protection for you. You couldn’t bear to see all your life at once. Though GOD is unlimited by time, it is in the present moment that HE meets you. Refresh yourself in The LORD’S company, breathing deep draughts of HIS Presence. The highest level of trust is to enjoy GOD moment by moment. The LORD is with you, watching over you wherever you go.”

Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul. PSALM 143 : 8

“I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.” GENESIS 28 : 15

Prayer

Prayer: God help me to remember above all else the most important thing to do this week is to love you Lord with all my heart, mind, soul, and strength and to love my neighbor as myself. In your power, for your glory. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Psalms 37 :4 – 5

Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. Psalms 37 :4 – 5 NKJV

Life gets so busy we make JUST enough time for The Lord. This scripture tells us to delight yourself, the meaning of delight is “something that brings you extreme pleasure, happiness” we as believers should put Jesus before anything else, he is our best friend, The Lord takes pleasure when we consult him in everything…… Today I pray we would all get alone with God and have a personal conversation with him……..be blessed

“STAY CALMLY conscious of GOD today, no matter what. Remember that GOD goes before you as well as with you into the day. Nothing takes GOD by surprise. The LORD will not allow circumstances to overwhelm you, so long as you look to HIM. The LORD will help you cope with whatever the moment presents. Collaborating with GOD brings blessings that far outweigh all your troubles. Awareness of GOD’S Presence contains Joy that can endure all eventualities.”

Scripture

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. PSALM 23 : 1 – 4 (NKJV)

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 2 CORINTHIANS 4 : 16 – 17

Prayer

Prayer: Lord when circumstances threaten to overwhelm me, help me to fix my eyes on you Jesus. To rely on your strength and wisdom and not my own. You are with me every step of the way and will show me the way, one step at a time. In Jesus’ precious name. Amen.

2 Corinthians‬ ‭6 ‬: ‭1 – 2

As God’s partners, we beg you not to accept this marvelous gift of God’s kindness and then ignore it. For God says, “At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you.” Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation. ‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭6 ‬: ‭1 – 2‬ NLT

Is today that day? Do you have a friend or loved one that doesn’t know The Lord ? Well today is that day. We as Christians can not save people, but can be used as a conduit for God to reach the unsaved. Our job is to witness by our actions, the love we show, and not only what we do when others are watching, but when they’re not. God has a use for each and everyone of us!!!! Ask him to show you. Today I pray that we would boldly witness to all that are unsaved and on a road to destruction and make today that day for someone……In Jesus name…….be blessed

“LET GOD’S LOVE STREAM THROUGH YOU, washing away fear and distrust. A trusting response includes GOD in your thoughts as you consider strategies to deal with a situation. The LORD’S continual Presence is a promise, guaranteeing that you never have to face anything alone. GOD’S children teeth on the truth that GOD is always with them, yet they stumble around in a stupor, unaware of The LORD’S loving Presence all around them. How that grieves GOD! When you walk through a day in trusting dependence on GOD, HIS aching heart is soothed. Gently bring your attention back to The LORD whenever it wanders away. GOD looks for persistence — rather than perfection — in your walk with HIM.”

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” DEUTERONOMY 31 : 6

And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. EPHESIANS 4 : 30

Prayer

Prayer: God may your love wash away any fear and distrust in my heart. Help me to include You in my thoughts as I consider strategies to deal with a situation. Your continual Presence is a promise, guaranteeing that I never have to face anything alone. Thank you Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

ACTS ‬ ‭9 ‬ :‭ 1 – 6‬

Meanwhile, Saul was uttering threats with every breath and was eager to kill the Lord’s followers. So he went to the high priest. He requested letters addressed to the synagogues in Damascus, asking for their cooperation in the arrest of any followers of the Way he found there. He wanted to bring them—both men and women—back to Jerusalem in chains. As he was approaching Damascus on this mission, a light from heaven suddenly shone down around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul! Saul! Why are you persecuting me?” “Who are you, lord?” Saul asked. And the voice replied, “I am Jesus, the one you are persecuting! Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.” ‭ACTS ‬ ‭9 ‬ :‭ 1 – 6‬ NLT

Saul was one of the most dangerous threats to the Christians of all times, but God had a major plan for him. The transformation from Saul to Paul was amazing and God is still transforming people in the same way today. Paul went on to write more than half of the New Testament and is considered one of the greatest apostles of Christ. Today’s prayer is that God would work that same miracle in the ones that persecute the Christians today and that they would see the Lord for who he is……Be Blessed

HOLD GOD’S HAND—AND TRUST. – ISAIAH 41 : 10, PSALM 62 : 5 – 6

“HOLD GOD’S HAND—AND TRUST. So long as you are conscious of GOD’S Presence with you, all is well. It is virtually impossible to stumble while walking in the Light with The LORD. GOD designed you to enjoy HIM above all else. You find the deepest fulfillment of your heart in GOD alone. Fearful, anxious thoughts melt away in the Light of The LORD’S Presence. When you turn away from GOD, you are vulnerable to the darkness that is always at work in the world. Don’t be surprised by how easily you sin when you forget to cling to GOD’S hand. In the world, dependency is seen as immaturity. But in GOD’S kingdom, dependence on HIM is a prime measure of maturity.”

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” ISAIAH 41 : 10

Find rest, Oh my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. PSALM 62 : 5 – 6

Prayer

Prayer: Find rest, Oh my soul, in God alone. My hope and my help comes from you Lord. Help me to stay conscious of your presence today and to enjoy you above all else. In you, I find the deepest fulfillment for my soul. In Jesus name. Amen.

“Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭13 : 8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Are you loving to get something or are you loving because that’s what’s in your heart? To love someone is to give the same sacrifice that Christ gave on the cross! As hard as that may be, it’s true. True love is forgiveness no matter what the circumstance. Today’s prayer is that Jesus would help us with forgiveness. And place in our hearts true love……In Jesus name be blessed

“WAIT PATIENTLY WITH GOD while HE blesses you. Don’t rush into GOD’S Presence with time-consciousness gnawing at your mind. GOD dwells in timelessness: GOD is, GOD was, GOD will always be. For you, time is a protection; you’re a frail creature who can handle only twenty-four-hour segments of life. Time can also be a tyrant, ticking away relentlessly in your mind. Learn to master time, or it will be your master. Though you are a time-bound creature, seek to meet GOD in timelessness. As you focus on GOD’S Presence, the demands of time and tasks will diminish. The LORD will bless you and keep you, making HIS Face shine upon you graciously, giving you Peace.”

But as for me, I watch in hope for the LORD, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me. MICAH 7 : 7

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.” REVELATION 1 : 8

“The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.” NUMBERS 6 : 24 – 26

Prayer

Prayer: Lord, help me not to rush into your presence. To enjoy just sitting with you as you fill me with peace. Thank you for your goodness and faithfulness. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
