Romans‬ ‭12 ‬: ‭19 – 20‬

Dear friends, never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God. For the Scriptures say, “I will take revenge; I will pay them back,” says the LORD. Instead, “If your enemies are hungry, feed them. If they are thirsty, give them something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals of shame on their heads.” ‭Romans‬ ‭12 ‬: ‭19 – 20‬ NLT

Is there that certain person or group of people that always seem to rub you wrong? Treat you bad? Just get on your last nerve? I believe we all have those people in our lives. Do you find yourself repaying their evil ways with the same treatment? This scripture tells us to give them to GOD and let HIM deal with them, we as Christians should shine our light on them even when the treatment is bad. Today I pray that we all would meditate on this scripture and ask the Holy Spirit to help us act right in these situations …… Be Blessed!!

“GOD’S FACE IS SHINING UPON YOU, beaming out Peace that transcends understanding. You are surrounded by a sea of problems, but you are face to Face with GOD, your Peace. As long as you focus on GOD, you are safe. If you gaze too long at the myriad problems around you, you will sink under the weight of your burdens. When you start to sink, simply call out “Help me, Jesus!” and The LORD, JESUS CHRIST will lift you up. The closer you live to The LORD, the safer you are. Circumstances around you are undulating, and there are treacherous-looking waves in the distance. Fix your eyes on GOD, the One who never changes. By the time those waves reach you, they will have shrunk to proportions of GOD’S design. GOD is always beside you, helping you face today’s waves. The future is a phantom, seeking to spook you. Laugh at the future! Stay close to The LORD.”

Scripture

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. PHILIPPIANS 4 : 7 

Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!” MATTHEW 14 : 30 

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. HEBREWS 12 : 2

Prayer

Prayer: Lord, even when I’m surrounded by a sea of problems I will meet you in the inner room of my heart, where you always are, and where there is peace that surpasses understanding. I can hide away with you, even for a minute, better prepared to return to the world. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

“In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.” Psalm‬ ‭4 : 8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Do you know that feeling when you have complete serene peace? That complete feeling of safety? That complete feeling of joy? That is when you are completely in JESUS CHRIST !!! Our salvation should always bring us peace,safety, and joy. Today I pray that we all would take our right place in JESUS CHRIST, the author and finisher of our faith …….. Be Blessed

“TRUST GOD by relinquishing control into HIS hands. Let go, and recognize that The LORD is GOD. This is HIS world: GOD made it and GOD controls it. Yours is a responsive part in the litany of Love. GOD searchs among HIS children for receptivity to HIM. Guard well this gift that The LORD has planted in your heart. Nurture it with the Light of GOD’S Presence. When you bring GOD prayer requests, lay out your concerns before HIM. Speak to The LORD candidly; pour out your heart. Then thank GOD for the answers that HE has set into motion long before you can discern results. When your requests come to mind again, continue to thank The LORD for the answers that are on the way. If you keep on telling your concerns to GOD, you will live in a state of tension. When you thank GOD for how HE is answering your prayers, your mind-set becomes much more positive. Thankful prayers keep your focus on GOD’S Presence and HIS promises.”

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. COLOSSIANS 4 : 2 

His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. 2 PETER 1 : 3 – 4

Prayer

Prayer: Lord show me any area of my life I’m holding onto control and help me relinquish control into your far more capable hands. Thank you for the answers you have already set in motion. I look forward to seeing your mighty hand at work. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Mark‬ ‭8 ‬: ‭35

“For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it.” ‭‭Mark‬ ‭8 ‬: ‭35‬ ‭NIV‬‬

What does it mean to lose your life? To lose your life is to do away with your old self, old habits, old everything! To save your life for JESUS CHRIST is to live a life that is pleasing to GOD. Today’s prayer is that we would be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and put off the old way ….. Be Blessed

“TRY TO VIEW EACH DAY as an adventure, carefully planned out by your Guide. Instead of staring into the day that is ahead of you, attempting to program it according to your will, be attentive to GOD and to all HE has prepared for you. Thank GOD for this day of life, recognizing that it is a precious, unrepeatable gift. Trust that GOD is with you each moment, whether you sense HIS Presence or not. A thankful, trusting attitude helps you to see events in your life from GOD’S perspective.”

To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps. 1 PETER 2 : 21

Prayer

Prayer: Lord, help me receive this day as an unrepeatable gift from You, not something I have to control. Teach me to trust Your guidance, stay attentive to You, and walk through today with gratitude and quiet confidence in Your presence. Amen.

Anxiety usually shows up when you try to handle situations yourself!! This scripture tells us to hand them over to GOD. Today’s prayer is when something shows up that gives us Anxiety, Doubt, Fear we would hand it over immediately and let The Lord handle it …… Be Blessed

“LET GOD PREPARE YOU for the day that stretches out before you. GOD knows exactly what this day will contain, whereas you have only vague ideas about it. You would like to see a map, showing all the twists and turns of your journey. You’d feel more prepared if you could somehow visualize what is on the road ahead. However, there is a better way to be prepared for whatever you will encounter today: Spend quality time with GOD. The LORD will not show you what is on the road ahead, but HE will thoroughly equip you for the journey. GOD’S living Presence is your Companion each step of the way. Stay in continual communication with GOD, whispering HIS Name whenever you need to redirect your thoughts. Thus, you can walk through this day with your focus on The LORD. HIS abiding Presence is the best road map available.”

The LORD replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” EXODUS 33 : 14

“Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.” JOHN 15 : 4 – 7

Prayer

Prayer: Lord, prepare my heart for this day as I spend time with You. Even when I cannot see what lies ahead, help me trust that Your presence will guide and equip me for every step. Keep my eyes fixed on you as I walk through today. Amen.

2 Timothy‬ ‭4‬ :‭ 18

Yes, and the Lord will deliver me from every evil attack and will bring me safely into his heavenly Kingdom. All glory to God forever and ever! Amen. 2 Timothy‬ ‭4‬ :‭ 18‬ NLT

Sometimes it seems like the attacks are never ending, we are surrounded by evil all day every day, but in this scripture Paul writes take heart GOD will deliver us from all evil. GOD’S plan for us is not to suffer but to have peace and joy knowing what awaits us when this life is done. Today I pray that we would all meditate on this scripture and know that we serve an all loving, caring, and protecting GOD ……. Be Blessed

“GOD IS WITH YOU AND FOR YOU. When you decide on a course of action that is in line with GOD’S will, nothing in heaven or on earth can stop you. You may encounter many obstacles as you move toward your goal, but don’t be discouraged—never give up! With GOD’S help, you can overcome any obstacle. Do not expect an easy path as you journey hand in hand with GOD, but do remember that The LORD, your very-present Helper, is omnipotent. Much, much stress results from your wanting to make things happen before their times have come. One of the main ways The LORD asserts HIS sovereignty is in the timing of events. If you want to stay close to GOD and do things HIS way, ask The LORD to show you the path forward moment by moment. Instead of dashing headlong toward your goal, let The LORD set the pace. Slow down, and enjoy the journey in GOD’S Presence.”

What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? ROMANS 8 : 31

God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling. PSALM 46 : 1 – 3 (NKJV)

Prayer

Prayer: Lord thank you for reminding me when the desires of my heart are in line with your will, nothing in heaven or on earth can stop it from happening. Show me the path forward, moment by moment. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
