“WHEN SOMETHING IN YOUR LIFE OR THOUGHTS makes you anxious, come to GOD and talk about it. Bring GOD your prayer and petition with thanksgiving, saying: “Thank You, Jesus, for this opportunity to trust You more.” Though the lessons of trust that The LORD sends to you come wrapped in difficulties, the benefits far outweigh the cost. Well-developed trust will bring you many blessings, not the least of which is The LORD’S Peace. CHRIST The LORD has promised to keep you in perfect Peace to the extent that you trust in HIM. The world has it backwards, teaching that peace is the result of having enough money, possessions, insurance, and security systems. GOD’S Peace, however, is such an all-encompassing gift that it is independent of all circumstances. Though you lose everything else, if you gain GOD’S Peace you are rich indeed.”

Ok here we go for some this is hard to swallow, Our current government leaders are our current leaders! This scripture explains that all authorities are God appointed so instead of bashing we should be praying for them!!!! “STOP JUDGING AND EVALUATING YOURSELF, for this is not your role. Above all, stop comparing yourself with other people. This produces feelings of pride or inferiority; sometimes, a mixture of both. GOD leads each of HIS children along a path that is uniquely tailor-made for him or her. Comparing is not only wrong; it is also meaningless. Don’t look for affirmation in the wrong places: your own evaluations, or those of other people. The only source of real affirmation is GOD’S unconditional Love. Many believers perceive GOD as an unpleasable Judge, angrily searching out their faults and failures. Nothing could be farther from the truth! JESUS CHRIST, The LORD died for your sins, so that HE might clothe you in HIS garments of salvation. This is how GOD sees you: radiant in CHRIST, The LORD’S robe of righteousness. When GOD disciplines you, it is never in anger or disgust; it is to prepare you for face-to-Face fellowship with The LORD throughout all eternity. Immerse yourself in GOD’S loving Presence. Be receptive to GOD’S affirmation, which flows continually from HIS throne of grace.”

Friends this scripture is so simple and short but ever so powerful!!!!! All that is around us is temporary. The word of God is our instruction manual and every word in the Bible is truth. There are a lot of churches out there teaching the scripture totally out of context!!!! My prayer today is that you would read your Bible (all of it) and understand by the spirit what God is speaking to us, there is a powerful message in every word for each of us…… Be Blessed

Thank you for your prayers yesterday. Angie’s sister went to be with the Lord yesterday. The family saw and felt God’s hand throughout the day helping them. He is so good.

“BE STILL IN THE LIGHT OF GOD’S Presence, while GOD communicates Love to you. There is no force in the universe as powerful as GOD’S Love. You are constantly aware of limitations: your own and others’. But there is no limit to GOD’S Love; it fills all of space, time, and eternity. Now you see through a glass, darkly, but someday you will see The LORD face to Face. Then you will be able to experience fully how wide and long and high and deep is HIS Love for you. If you were to experience that now, you would be overwhelmed to the point of feeling crushed. But you have an eternity ahead of you, absolutely guaranteed, during which you can enjoy GOD’S Presence in unrestricted ecstasy. For now, the knowledge of GOD’S loving Presence is sufficient to carry you through each day.”

I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. EPHESIANS 3 : 16 – 19

Prayer: God thank you that there is no force in the universe as powerful as your love. I rest in your loving promise of eternity and your promise to hold my hand in the meantime, through the highs and lows of life here on earth. In Jesus’ precious name. Amen.

Prayer Request: Before I begin today’s Daily Devotional I have a prayer request of my own to make: a few years before I started this page in 2005 I got added to a daily email list that my friend / co-worker Angie sent out call the “Message From Jesus” this daily email is what I used to start “Daily Devotional in Christ” and it continues to be the source for these videos. I found out this morning that my friend Angie is at the hospital sister who is in ICU and is expected to be taken home to The LORD soon. Please pray for Angie , her family and especially her son Tyler, Lift Them up in your prayers

BE ON GUARD against the pit of self-pity. When you are weary or unwell, this demonic trap is the greatest danger you face. Don’t even go near the edge of the pit. Its edges crumble easily, and before you know it, you are on the way down. It is ever so much harder to get out of the pit than to keep a safe distance from it. That is why GOD tells you to be on guard. There are several ways to protect yourself from self-pity. When you are occupied with praising and thanking GOD, it is impossible to feel sorry for yourself. Also, the closer you live to GOD, the more distance there is between you and the pit. Live in the Light of GOD’S Presence by fixing your eyes on The LORD. Then you will be able to run with endurance the race that is set before you, without stumbling or falling.

Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, O LORD. In Your name they rejoice all day long, And in Your righteousness they are exalted. PSALM 89 : 15 – 16

Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.. HEBREWS 12 : 1 – 2 (NKJV)

Prayer: Today Lord we ask you that when we start to feel sorry for ourselves we instead look to your guidance and not inward to ourselves. We trust in you to make things well. Amen
