“THANK GOD FOR YOUR PROBLEMS. As soon as your mind gets snagged on a difficulty, bring it to The LORD with thanksgiving. Then ask GOD to show you HIS way to handle the situation. The very act of thanking GOD releases your mind from its negative focus. As you turn your attention to The LORD instead, the problem fades in significance and loses its power to trip you up. Together with GOD you can deal with the situation, either facing it head-on or putting it aside for later consideration. Most of the situations that entangle your mind are not today’s concerns; you have borrowed them from tomorrow. In this case, GOD lifts the problem out of today and deposits it in the future, where it is veiled from your eyes. In its place GOD gives you HIS Peace, which flows freely from HIS Presence.”
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. PHILIPPIANS 4 : 6

Prayer: Lord when my mind gets snagged on a difficulty, remind me to thank you for the opportunity to listen for your direction. When you start to feel stressed, let those feelings alert you to your need for GOD. Thus, your needs become doorways to deep dependence on Christ and increasing intimacy between you and GOD. Although self-sufficiency is acclaimed in the world, reliance on The LORD produces abundant living in HIS kingdom. Thank GOD for the difficulties in your life, since they provide protection from the idolatry of self-reliance.”

We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about the hardships we suffered in the province of Asia. We have so many things that we hope for, that we dream about, that we pray for, but the reality is all of those things are temporary. The promise that we have of our Lord’s return is eternal….. Look to GOD in trust, anticipating that HIS infinite creativity can weave both good choices and bad into a lovely design. Because you are human, you will continue to make mistakes. Thinking that you should live an error-free life is symptomatic of pride. Your failures can be a source of blessing, humbling you and giving you empathy for other people in their weaknesses. Best of all, failure highlights your dependence on GOD. GOD is able to bring beauty out of the morass of your mistakes. Trust GOD, and watch to see what HE will do.”
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. ROMANS 8 : 28

Prayer: Lord thank you for bringing good out of my mistakes. Thank you for your grace and mercy that’s new everyday. I know I will continue to make mistakes, but those mistakes don’t define me, you do. Thank you for loving me unconditionally, help me to love like you love. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

If only you could check everything off your list, you could relax and be at peace. But the more you work to accomplish that goal, the more things crop up on your list. The harder you try, the more frustrated you become. There is a better way to find security in this life. Instead of scrutinizing your checklist, focus your attention on GOD’S Presence with you. This continual contact with GOD will keep you in HIS Peace. Moreover, The LORD will help you sort out what is important and what is not, what needs to be done now and what does not. Fix your eyes not on what is seen (your circumstances), but on what is unseen (GOD’S Presence).”
You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You. ISAIAH 26 : 3 (NKJV)
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 CORINTHIANS 4 : 18
Prayer: Lord, instead of scrutinizing my checklist help me to focus my attention on your presence with me. Then you will help me sort out what is important and what is not. Help me to accept there will always be things on my to do list, but none are as important as spending time with You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
