“REST IN GOD’S PRESENCE WHEN you need refreshment. Resting is not necessarily idleness, as people often perceive it. When you relax in GOD’S company, you are demonstrating trust in The LORD. Trust is a rich word, laden with meaning and direction for your life. GOD wants you to lean on, trust, and be confident in HIM. When you lean on The LORD for support, HE delights in your trusting confidence. Many people turn away from GOD when they are exhausted. They associate GOD with duty and diligence, so they try to hide from HIS Presence when they need a break from work. How this saddens GOD! As GOD spoke through HIS prophet Isaiah: In returning to GOD and resting in GOD you shall be saved; in quietness and trust shall be your strength.”

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. PROVERBS 3 : 5

For thus said the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel, In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and in trust shall be your strength.But you were unwilling, ISAIAH 30 : 15

Prayer: God help me to rest in your presence for refreshment each day. And when I am feeling weary, come to you, trusting you will give me the rest and strength I need. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

It’s time to wake up!!!! This world is a disaster with all the division, hate, selfishness, entitlement, etc must have God in tears! We are all one people and should be able to live in one accord together, helping one another, being there for one another, loving one another. Today’s prayer is that we especially as Christians would remember our commission from God to be the example of Christ and bring light wherever you are….. Do not feel guilty about taking time to be still in The LORD’S Presence. You are simply responding to the tugs of divinity within you. GOD made you in HIS image, and GOD hid heaven in your heart. Your yearning for The LORD is a form of homesickness: longing for your true home in heaven. Do not be afraid to be different from other people. The path GOD has called you to travel is exquisitely right for you. The more closely you follow The LORD’S leading, the more fully HE can develop your gifts. To follow GOD wholeheartedly, you must relinquish your desire to please other people. However, your closeness to GOD will bless others by enabling you to shine brightly in this dark world.”

Are you giving from a Godly heart or an earthly heart? All Things are from God and we should be treating them as so. We can sometimes put a value on possessions that makes them our god! Agree? “BRING GOD ALL YOUR FEELINGS, even the ones you wish you didn’t have. Fear and anxiety still plague you. Feelings per se are not sinful, but they can be temptations to sin. Blazing missiles of fear fly at you day and night; these attacks from the evil one come at you relentlessly. Use your shield of faith to extinguish those flaming arrows. Affirm your trust in GOD, regardless of how you feel. If you persist, your feelings will eventually fall in line with your faith. Do not hide from your fear or pretend it isn’t there. Anxiety that you hide in the recesses of your heart will give birth to fear of fear: a monstrous stepchild. Bring your anxieties out into the Light of GOD’S Presence, where you can deal with them together. Concentrate on trusting GOD, and fearfulness will gradually lose its foothold within you.”

In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. EPHESIANS 6 : 16

This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. 1 JOHN 1 : 5 – 7

“Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD, is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.” ISAIAH 12 : 2

Personal note: Out of all the wisdom in the Bible that there is to gain it my mind in boils down to a very simple concept. Don’t worry, Trust in GOD, and hand your stresses, worries and concerns over to HIM and Trust in HIS will and HIS TIME. To paraphrase a song from pop culture – Don’t worry and Be Happy thru Faith

Prayer: Lord, I bring you all my thoughts and feelings. Help me take captive every thought that doesn’t align with your word and throw it out. To saturate myself in you and your word so when the enemy comes, I can say, “It is written… ” as Jesus did. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Psalms 37:4 – 5

Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. Psalms 37:4 – 5 NKJV

Life gets so busy we make JUST enough time for The Lord. This scripture tells us delight yourself, the meaning of delight is ” something that brings you extreme pleasure, happiness” we as believers should put Jesus before anything else, he is our BFF, The Lord takes pleasure when we consult him in everything…… Today I pray we would all get alone with God and have a personal conversation with him……..be blessed

“SELF – PITY IS A SLIMY, BOTTOMLESS PIT. Once you fall in, you tend to go deeper and deeper into the mire. As you slide down those slippery walls, you are well on your way to depression, and the darkness is profound. Your only hope is to look up and see the Light of GOD’S Presence shining down on you. Though the Light looks dim from your perspective, deep in the pit, those rays of hope can reach you at any depth. While you focus on GOD in trust, you rise ever so slowly out of the abyss of despair. Finally, you can reach up and grasp GOD’S hand. GOD will pull you out into the Light again. HE will gently cleanse you, washing off the clinging mire. The LORD will cover you with HIS righteousness and walk with you down the path of Life.”

He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the LORD. PSALM 40 : 2 – 3

Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him For the help of His countenance. PSALM 42 : 5 (NKJV)

The LORD delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love. PSALM 147 : 11

Prayer: Lord when I start to go down a self-pity route, help me remember I don’t have to rely on my own strength. You are my rock and my fortress. And you will fight my battles for me, when I give up control. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
