‭‭Luke‬ ‭4:18-21‬

“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fastened on him. He began by saying to them, “Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭4:18-21‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Jesus showed all kinds of wonders and miracles but many still did not believe. The Pharisees and Sadducees were so well versed in the law but they still would not believe that the Messiah was among them. Today the same remains, people are receiving healing, miracles in the lowest times of their life but still don’t see. Today’s prayer is that we would all pray for the spirit of God to fall on all with a hardened heart that they may believe in the one true living God, Jesus told them back then and we are telling them today…….Be Blessed and Testify!!!!!!

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

“GOD IS LIFE AND LIGHT IN ABUNDANCE. As you spend time “soaking” in GOD’S Presence, you are energized and lightened. Through communing with GOD, you transfer your heavy burdens to HIS strong shoulders. By gazing at GOD, you gain HIS perspective on your life. This time alone with The LORD is essential for unscrambling your thoughts and smoothing out the day before you. Be willing to fight for this precious time with The LORD. Opposition comes in many forms: your own desire to linger in bed; the evil one’s determination to distract you from GOD; the pressure of family, friends, and your own inner critic to spend your time more productively. As you grow in your desire to please GOD above all else, you gain strength to resist these opponents. Delight yourself in The LORD, for GOD is the deepest Desire of your heart.”

Within your temple, O God, we meditate on your unfailing love. PSALM 48 : 9

About Benjamin he said: “Let the beloved of the LORD rest secure in him, for he shields him all day long, and the one the LORD loves rests between his shoulders.” DEUTERONOMY 33 : 12

Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart. PSALM 37 : 4

Prayer: God help me to fight for time spent sitting in between your shoulders each day. When I do, I find rest and refreshment and energy for my mind, body, and soul. Thank you for loving me and wanting to spend time with me. In Jesus’ name. Amen

Have you ever noticed how most things finish better than they start if we have patience? Do you ever get the I want it now attitude? Well I know I have fallen into this trap and made a mess of many things. This scripture paints a clear picture that good things come to those who wait. The best we have to look forward too is the Lords return. Today’s prayer is that we would all pray for patience and in the process be humble…….Be Blessed

Prayer: Holy Spirit, control my mind and my actions today. Make them align to God’s will and be pleasing to Him. Help me to make time to sit in the stillness of your presence, focusing my entire being on You so that your thoughts and your peace and your joy can burst freely in my mind, stimulating abundant life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Isaiah‬ ‭64:4‬

“Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides you, who acts on behalf of those who wait for him.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭64:4‬ ‭

Patience seems to be a thing of the past! In society today people want it NOW. This scripture says God acts on those who wait for him, are you waiting on God in all the areas of your life? Your decisions for you family, finances, job? Today’s prayer is that in this microwave society that we would wait on God in all the decisions of our life, I believe if we wait on his timing the best will come……..In Jesus name Be Blessed

“AS YOU GET OUT OF BED in the morning, be aware of GOD’S Presence with you. You may not be thinking clearly yet, but GOD is. Your early morning thoughts tend to be anxious ones until you get connected with GOD. Invite GOD into your thoughts by whispering HIS Name. Suddenly your day brightens and feels more user-friendly. You cannot dread a day that is vibrant with The LORD’S Presence. You gain confidence through knowing that The LORD is with you— that you face nothing alone. Anxiety stems from asking the wrong question: “If such and such happens, can I handle it?” The true question is not whether you can cope with whatever happens, but whether you and GOD together can handle anything that occurs. It is this you-and-GOD-together factor that gives you confidence to face the day cheerfully.”

In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation. PSALM 5 : 3

Prayer: God thank you that no matter what happens today, you and I will face it together. And you, the King of all Kings, Lord of all Lords, will be holding my hand and leading and guiding me through it. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

“TASTE AND SEE THAT GOD IS GOOD. This command contains an invitation to experience GOD’S living Presence. It also contains a promise. The more you experience GOD, the more convinced you become of HIS goodness. This knowledge is essential to your faith-walk. When adversities strike, the human instinct is to doubt The LORD’S goodness. GOD’S ways are mysterious, even to those who know HIM intimately. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are GOD’S ways and thoughts higher than your ways and thoughts. Do not try to fathom GOD’S ways. Instead, spend time enjoying GOD and experiencing HIS goodness.”

Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him. PSALM 34 : 8

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” ISAIAH 55 : 8 – 9

Prayer: Lord, the more I experience you, the more convinced I am of your goodness. Like Job, help me to not hold onto anything tighter than I hold onto you and even in adversity may I be able to say, “the Lord gives and takes away. Blessed be the name of the Lord.” In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Psalms 51:1-2

Have mercy upon me, O God, According to Your loving kindness; According to the multitude of Your tender mercies, Blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin. Psalms 51:1-2 NKJV

David was praying a foreshadow of the Cross, at the cross this prayer was fulfilled for us. Jesus was the only perfect person to ever walk this earth and God knew it from the beginning. At the cross Jesus took all the sin for the whole world!!!!! And for those of us that have called upon his name in salvation we are redeemed……..today I would pray that all would shed any condemnation that they have and thank Jesus for redeeming us through his blood…….Be Blessed

2 Timothy ‭4‬:‭18‬

Yes, and the Lord will deliver me from every evil attack and will bring me safely into his heavenly Kingdom. All glory to God forever and ever! Amen. 2 Timothy ‭4‬:‭18‬ NLT

Sometimes it seems like the attacks are never ending, we are surrounded by evil all day every day, but in this scripture Paul writes take heart God will deliver us from all evil. Gods plan for us is not to suffer but to have peace and joy knowing what awaits us when this life is done. Today I pray that we would all meditate on this scripture and know that we serve a all loving, caring, and protecting God…….Be Blessed

I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ Acts 20:35 NKJV

In today’s times it seems like people expect things, that they are owed something. As Christians we should never expect anything, but know that we are blessed in everything, doing for others produces blessings because God is faithful, we shouldn’t expect blessings for doing for others, it’s just the way God works. Today do for someone that is in need of something, maybe just a kind word……Be Blessed
