“THANK GOD for the very things that are troubling you. You are on the brink of rebellion, precariously close to shaking your fist in GOD’S Face. You are tempted to indulge in just a little complaining about GOD’S treatment of you. But once you step over that line, torrents of rage and self-pity can sweep you away. The best protection against this indulgence is thanksgiving. It is impossible to thank GOD and curse GOD at the same time. Thanking GOD for trials will feel awkward and contrived at first. But if you persist, your thankful words, prayed in faith, will eventually make a difference in your heart. Thankfulness awakens you to GOD’S Presence, which overshadows all your problems.”

I will offer to You the sacrifice of thanksgiving, And will call upon the name of the LORD. PSALM 116 : 17 (NKJV)

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. PHILIPPIANS 4 : 4 – 6

Prayer: Lord teach me to thank you for the very things that are troubling me. I know you will bring good out of all of them and you use trials to teach me dependence on you. I’m open to your teaching Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

“WAIT PATIENTLY WITH GOD while HE blesses you. Don’t rush into GOD Presence with time-consciousness gnawing at your mind. The LORD dwells in timelessness: GOD is, GOD was, GOD will always be. For you, time is a protection; you’re a frail creature who can handle only twenty-four-hour segments of life. Time can also be a tyrant, ticking away relentlessly in your mind. Learn to master time, or it will be your master. Though you are a time-bound creature, seek to meet GOD in timelessness. As you focus on GOD’S Presence, the demands of time and tasks will diminish. The LORD will bless you and keep you, making HIS Face shine upon you graciously, giving you Peace.”

But as for me, I watch in hope for the LORD, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me. MICAH 7 : 7

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.” REVELATION 1 : 8

“The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.” NUMBERS 6 : 24 – 26

Prayer: Lord help me not to rush my time with you and to trust that when I give you the sacrifice of my time you will help me get more done in less time. Show me how to relax in your presence. Soaking in your goodness and kindness and love so I can share it with others today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

I hear so many opinions that God has abandoned this country, that Jesus needs to hurry and come back. I fully believe that God has not abandoned this land, this land has abandoned God! This is our opportunity to be the church that Jesus is looking for! To witness, show love, compassion just as Jesus did. Today’s prayer is that we would all know that God is here! He knows all and knew all so let’s praise him for his goodness and show his love……..Be Blessed

Do you vent about everything? Or do you take it to the Lord? This proverb calls venting foolish, but to hold the feelings back is wise. Today’s prayer is that we would not vent! Yes as Christians we have been given dominion over the devil!!!! Yes not my opinion but the words of Christ himself. Prayer: God help me to walk in the Spirit today, to stay atuned to what you want me to say and do. And help me to relax and enjoy the present moment, knowing you have me in the palm of your hands. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

But GOD has called you to walk ever so closely with HIM, soaking in HIS Presence, living in HIS Peace. This is GOD’s unique design for you, planned before the world began. The LORD has called each of HIS children to a different path, distinctly designed for that one. Do not let anyone convince you that his path is the only right way. And be careful not to extol your path as superior to another’s way. What GOD requires of you is to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with HIM —wherever GOD leads.”

For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. EPHESIANS 2 : 10

He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. MICAH 6 : 8

Prayer: God help me to walk ever so close to you today, soaking in your presence, living in your peace. Close and still enough to hear your voice and follow wherever you lead. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
