Daily Devotional Video 3/25/2020 – 1 CORINTHIANS 10 : 10, HEBREWS 12 : 28 – 29

“LET THANKFULNESS TEMPER ALL YOUR THOUGHTS. A thankful mind-set keeps you in touch with GOD. GOD hates it when HIS children grumble, casually despising HIS sovereignty. Thankfulness is a safeguard against this deadly sin. Furthermore, a grateful attitude becomes a grid through which you perceive life. Gratitude enables you to see the Light of GOD’S Presence shining on all your circumstances. Cultivate a thankful heart, for this glorifies GOD and fills you with Joy.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

And do not grumble, as some of them did—and were killed by the destroying angel. 1 CORINTHIANS 10 : 10

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.” HEBREWS 12 : 28 – 29

Prayer: Lord help me to cultivate a thankful heart, allowing me to see the light of your presence shining on all my circumstances. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Daily Devotional Video 3/24/2020 – PSALM 89 : 15, HEBREWS 13 : 8, ISAIAH 41 : 13

“THIS IS A TIME IN YOUR LIFE WHEN YOU MUST LEARN TO LET GO: of loved ones, of possessions, of control. In order to let go of something that is precious to you, you need to rest in The LORD’S Presence, where you are complete. Take time to bask in the Light of GOD’S Love. As you relax more and more, your grasping hand gradually opens up, releasing your prized possession into The LORD’S care. You can feel secure, even in the midst of cataclysmic changes, through awareness of GOD’S continual Presence. The One who never leaves you is the same One who never changes: GOD is the same yesterday, today, and forever. As you release more and more things into The LORD’S care, remember that GOD never lets go of your hand. Herein lies your security, which no one and no circumstance can take from you.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, O LORD. PSALM 89 : 15

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. HEBREWS 13 : 8

“For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.” ISAIAH 41 : 13

Prayer: God help me to not hold onto anything tighter than I hold onto you. Help me to rest in your presence, the only place where I am complete – and let go. Let me get out of the cockpit and allow you to have control. Remind me again and again when I forget. Thank you for your grace. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Daily Devotional Video 3/23/2020 – PSALM 36 : 7 – 9, PSALM 132 : 15, JOHN 6 : 12 – 13

“THE LORD IS A GOD of both intricate detail and overflowing abundance. When you entrust the details of your life to The LORD, you are surprised by how thoroughly HE answers your petitions. GOD takes pleasure in hearing your prayers, so feel free to bring The LORD all your requests. The more you pray, the more answers you can receive. Best of all, your faith is strengthened as you see how precisely GOD responds to your specific prayers. Because GOD is infinite in all HIS ways, you need not fear that The LORD will run out of resources. Abundance is at the very heart of who GOD is. Come to GOD in joyful expectation of receiving all you need—and sometimes much more! The LORD delights in showering blessings on HIS beloved children. Come to GOD with open hands and heart, ready to receive all The LORD has for you.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

How priceless is your unfailing love! Both high and low among men find refuge in the shadow of your wings. They feast on the abundance of your house; you give them drink from your river of delights. For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light. PSALM 36 : 7 – 9

Prayer: Lord I trust you and I’m amazed that you care about every detail of my life. I tell you what is on my heart and I wait in joyful expectation, excited to see what you are going to do next; To see how you are going to use everything for my good. Thank you Lord. You are so good. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Daily Devotional Video 3/20/2020 – 2 CORINTHIANS 5 : 5, 2 CORINTHIANS 3 : 17, PSALM 50 : 14

“THANK THE LORD FOR THE GLORIOUS GIFT OF HIS HOLY SPIRIT. This is like priming the pump of a well. As you bring The LORD the sacrifice of thanksgiving, regardless of your feelings, GOD’S Holy Spirit is able to work more freely within you. This produces more thankfulness and more freedom, until you are overflowing with gratitude. GOD showers blessings on you daily, but sometimes you don’t perceive them. When your mind is stuck on a negative focus, you see neither The LORD nor HIS gifts. In faith, thank GOD for whatever is preoccupying your mind. This will clear the blockage so that you can find The LORD.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

Now it is God who has made us for this very purpose and has given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come. 2 CORINTHIANS 5 : 5

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 2 CORINTHIANS 3 : 17

Daily Devotional Video 3/19/2020 – ROMANS 8 : 1 – 2, COLOSSIANS 1 : 27, 1 CORINTHIANS 6 : 19

“GOD SPEAKS TO YOU FROM THE DEPTHS OF YOUR BEING. Hear GOD saying soothing words of Peace, assuring you of HIS Love. Do not listen to voices of accusation, for they are not from GOD. The LORD speaks to you in love-tones, lifting you up. GOD’S Holy Spirit convicts cleanly, without crushing words of shame. Let the Spirit take charge of your mind, combing out tangles of deception. Be transformed by the truth that GOD lives within you. The Light of GOD’S Presence is shining upon you, in benedictions of Peace. Let GOD’S Light shine in you; don’t dim it with worries or fears. Holiness is letting GOD live through you. Since GOD dwells in you, you are fully equipped to be holy. Pause before responding to people or situations, giving Christ’s Holy Spirit space to act through you. Hasty words and actions leave no room for The LORD; this is atheistic living. The LORD wants to inhabit all your moments— gracing your thoughts, words, and behavior.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death. ROMANS 8 : 1 – 2

To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. COLOSSIANS 1 : 27

Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own. 1 CORINTHIANS 6 : 19

Prayer: Holy Spirit help me to pause before responding to people or situations and listen for your prompting and direction. Inhabit all my moments Lord, my thoughts, my words, and my circumstances. Protect and lead me as I go through this day. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Daily Devotional Video 3/18/2020 – Matthew 6:34

“TRUST THE LORD ONE DAY AT A TIME. This keeps you close to GOD, responsive to HIS will. Trust is not a natural response, especially for those who have been deeply wounded. GOD’S Holy Spirit within you is your resident tutor, helping you in this supernatural endeavor. Yield to GOD’S gentle touch; be sensitive to HIS prompting. Exert your will to trust The LORD in all circumstances. Don’t let your need to understand distract you from GOD’S Presence. GOD will equip you to get through this day victoriously, as you live in deep dependence on HIM. Tomorrow is busy worrying about itself; don’t get tangled up in its worry-webs. Trust GOD one day at a time.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

O LORD Almighty, blessed is the man who trusts in you. PSALM 84 : 12

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. MATTHEW 6 : 34

Prayer: Lord thank you for equipping me with everything I need to live victoriously today. Help me to trust you in all circumstances. Your Holy Spirit is in me and with me always – teaching me and guiding me. Thank you for this precious gift. Help me to be sensitive to His prompting today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
