“REFUSE TO WORRY! In this world there will always be something enticing you to worry. That is the nature of a fallen, fractured planet: Things are not as they should be. So the temptation to be anxious is constantly with you, trying to worm its way into your mind. The best defense is continual communication with GOD, richly seasoned with thanksgiving. Awareness of GOD’S Presence fills your mind with Light and Peace, leaving no room for fear. This awareness lifts you up above your circumstances, enabling you to see problems from GOD’S perspective. Live close to GOD! Together GOD and you can keep the wolves of worry at bay.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

“Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?” LUKE 12 : 25 – 26

Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 THESSALONIANS 5 : 16 – 18

Prayer: Lord help me refuse to worry and instead talk with you and recall all the good things you’ve done and are still doing. Help me to keep your word on my lips and meditate on it day and night so that I can be careful to do everything written in it, and then everything I do will prosper and succeed. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

“GOD LOVES YOU FOR WHO YOU ARE, not for what you do. Many voices vie for control of your mind, especially when you sit in silence. You must learn to discern what is GOD’s voice and what is not. Ask GOD’s Holy Spirit to give you this discernment. Many of GOD’s children run around in circles, trying to obey the various voices directing their lives. This results in fragmented, frustrating patterns of living. Do not fall into this trap. Walk closely with GOD each moment, listening for GOD’s directives and enjoying GOD’s Companionship. Refuse to let other voices tie you up in knots. The LORD’s sheep know HIS voice and follow GOD wherever HE leads.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to one hope when you were called— one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. EPHESIANS 4 : 1 – 6

When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. JOHN 10 : 4

Prayer: Lord help me to be more humble, more gentle, more patient, making allowances for others faults. Just like you make allowance for my faults. Help me to make every effort to keep peace with others. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

“THE LORD IS THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE; all lasting Life emanates from HIM. People search for life in many wrong ways: chasing after fleeting pleasures, accumulating possessions and wealth, trying to deny the inevitable effects of aging. Meanwhile, GOD freely offers abundant Life to everyone who turns toward HIM. As you come to GOD and take GOD’S yoke upon you, GOD fills you with HIS very Life. This is how GOD chooses to live in the world and accomplish HIS purposes. This is also how GOD blesses you with Joy unspeakable and full of Glory. The Joy is GOD’S, and the Glory is GOD’S; but GOD bestows them on you as you live in GOD’S Presence, inviting GOD to live fully in you.” para-phrased – ” Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies.” JOHN 11 : 25

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” MATTHEW 11 : 28 – 29

Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. 1 PETER 1 : 8 – 9 (KJV)

Prayer: Jesus I invite you to live fully in me -allowing your joy and peace to overflow in me. And living the abundant life you created me to live. Thank you for being so good and merciful. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Colossians‬ ‭4:2

“Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart.” ‭‭Colossians‬ ‭4:2‬ ‭NLT‬‬

How is your prayer life? Be honest!!! Are you faithful in prayer? Are you praying for material things? Are you praying for yourself or others? This scripture tells us to pray with a alert mind and thankful heart, do we measure up? Today’s prayer is that our prayer time would be devoted to one on one communication with God and God only!!! Pray for the lost and the found, but most of all let’s do it with a pure and thankful heart……..Be Blessed

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new

‭‭1 John‬ ‭2:5-6

“But if anyone obeys his word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭2:5-6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

This scripture breaks it down in such simple terms it’s amazing. If someone asked you do you love God what would your response be? Of course it would be YES so if you love God don’t you want to try to please him at all times? To live like Jesus is too live a life that is pleasing to God, have a heart of a servant. Today’s prayer is that we would wake up daily and start our day out by praying “Heavenly Father let me not serve myself today, but serve only you” let your will be done throughout my day and make this day not mine but yours” I believe this confession will help us all live more like Jesus……..Be Blessed

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new

‭Matthew‬ ‭11‬:‭28-30‬

Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.” (‭Matthew‬ ‭11‬:‭28-30‬ NLT)

This is a word for someone who is trying to handle a situation that needs to be handed over to the Lord, are you caring for a loved one? Mourning the loss of a loved one? it’s very difficult to deal with the responsibility of caring for a loved one and  with loss, but Jesus says come to him, lay your burdens on him, trust in him and he will replace that pain with peace. Today I pray that whoever is in a situation that is overwhelming them to hand it over to Jesus and trust he will handle it……Be Blessed

“STOP JUDGING AND EVALUATING YOUR SELF, for this is not your role. Above all, stop comparing yourself with other people. This produces feelings of pride or inferiority; sometimes, a mixture of both. GOD leads each of HIS children along a path that is uniquely tailor-made for him or her. Comparing is not only wrong; it is also meaningless. Don’t look for affirmation in the wrong places: your own evaluations, or those of other people. The only source of real affirmation is GOD’S unconditional Love. Many believers perceive GOD as an unpleasable Judge, angrily searching out their faults and failures. Nothing could be farther from the truth! The LORD, Jesus Christ died for your sins, so that GOD might clothe you in The LORD’S garments of salvation. This is how GOD sees you: radiant in The LORD’S robe of righteousness. When GOD disciplines you, it is never in anger or disgust; it is to prepare you for face-to-Face fellowship with GOD throughout all eternity. Immerse yourself in GOD’S loving Presence. Be receptive to GOD’S affirmation, which flows continually from the throne of grace.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

“Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.” LUKE 6 : 37

“For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” JOHN 3 : 17

I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, My soul shall be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. ISAIAH 61 : 10 (NKJV)

Prayer: God I’m so grateful when you disciple me you don’t look at me with anger or disgust, but rather with love and grace and fairness, preparing me for an eternity with you. I long for that day. In the meantime, do what you need to in order to prepare me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3:2‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“KEEP YOUR EYES ON GOD! Waves of adversity are washing over you, and you feel tempted to give up. As your circumstances consume more and more of your attention, you are losing sight of GOD. Yet The LORD is with you always, holding you by your right hand. GOD is fully aware of your situation, and HE will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able to bear. Your gravest danger is worrying about tomorrow. If you try to carry tomorrow’s burdens today, you will stagger under the load and eventually fall flat. You must discipline yourself to live within the boundaries of today. It is in the present moment that The LORD walks close to you, helping you carry your burdens. Keep your focus on GOD’S Presence in the present.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

Yet I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand. PSALM 73 : 23

No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it. 1 CORINTHIANS 10 : 13

Prayer: Lord help me to keep my eyes on you today. You know what is up ahead. Equip me to handle it with you leading the way. Thank you for always providing a way out of temptation. Help me to give you all my worries, and let go. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
