ACTS ‬ ‭9 ‬ :‭ 1 – 6‬

Meanwhile, Saul was uttering threats with every breath and was eager to kill the Lord’s followers. So he went to the high priest. He requested letters addressed to the synagogues in Damascus, asking for their cooperation in the arrest of any followers of the Way he found there. He wanted to bring them—both men and women—back to Jerusalem in chains. As he was approaching Damascus on this mission, a light from heaven suddenly shone down around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul! Saul! Why are you persecuting me?” “Who are you, lord?” Saul asked. And the voice replied, “I am Jesus, the one you are persecuting! Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.” ‭ACTS ‬ ‭9 ‬ :‭ 1 – 6‬ NLT

Saul was one of the most dangerous threats to the Christians of all times, but God had a major plan for him. The transformation from Saul to Paul was amazing and God is still transforming people in the same way today. Paul went on to write more than half of the New Testament and is considered one of the greatest apostles of Christ. Today’s prayer is that God would work that same miracle in the ones that persecute the Christians today and that they would see the Lord for who he is……Be Blessed

HOLD GOD’S HAND—AND TRUST. – ISAIAH 41 : 10, PSALM 62 : 5 – 6

“HOLD GOD’S HAND—AND TRUST. So long as you are conscious of GOD’S Presence with you, all is well. It is virtually impossible to stumble while walking in the Light with The LORD. GOD designed you to enjoy HIM above all else. You find the deepest fulfillment of your heart in GOD alone. Fearful, anxious thoughts melt away in the Light of The LORD’S Presence. When you turn away from GOD, you are vulnerable to the darkness that is always at work in the world. Don’t be surprised by how easily you sin when you forget to cling to GOD’S hand. In the world, dependency is seen as immaturity. But in GOD’S kingdom, dependence on HIM is a prime measure of maturity.”

Find rest, Oh my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. PSALM 62 : 5 – 6

Prayer

Prayer: Find rest, Oh my soul, in God alone. My hope and my help comes from you Lord. Help me to stay conscious of your presence today and to enjoy you above all else. In you, I find the deepest fulfillment for my soul. In Jesus name. Amen.

“Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭13 : 8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Are you loving to get something or are you loving because that’s what’s in your heart? To love someone is to give the same sacrifice that Christ gave on the cross! As hard as that may be, it’s true. True love is forgiveness no matter what the circumstance. Today’s prayer is that Jesus would help us with forgiveness. And place in our hearts true love……In Jesus name be blessed

WAIT PATIENTLY WITH GOD while HE blesses you. – MICAH 7 : 7, REVELATION 1 : 8, NUMBERS 6 : 24 – 26

“WAIT PATIENTLY WITH GOD while HE blesses you. Don’t rush into GOD’S Presence with time-consciousness gnawing at your mind. GOD dwells in timelessness: GOD is, GOD was, GOD will always be. For you, time is a protection; you’re a frail creature who can handle only twenty-four-hour segments of life. Time can also be a tyrant, ticking away relentlessly in your mind. Learn to master time, or it will be your master. Though you are a time-bound creature, seek to meet GOD in timelessness. As you focus on GOD’S Presence, the demands of time and tasks will diminish. The LORD will bless you and keep you, making HIS Face shine upon you graciously, giving you Peace.”

“The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.” NUMBERS 6 : 24 – 26

Prayer

Prayer: Lord, help me not to rush into your presence. To enjoy just sitting with you as you fill me with peace. Thank you for your goodness and faithfulness. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

GOD SPEAKS TO YOU CONTINUALLY. – PSALM 8 : 1 – 4, PSALM 19 : 1 – 2, JEREMIAH 29 : 13

“GOD SPEAKS TO YOU CONTINUALLY. The LORD’S nature is to communicate, though not always in words. GOD flings glorious sunsets across the sky, day after day after day. GOD speaks in the faces and voices of loved ones. The LORD caresses you with a gentle breeze that refreshes and delights you. The LORD speaks softly in the depths of your spirit, where GOD has taken up residence. You can find GOD in each moment, when you have eyes that see and ears that hear. Ask GOD’S Holy Spirit to sharpen your spiritual eyesight and hearing. GOD rejoices each time you discover HIS Presence. Practice looking and listening for The LORD during quiet intervals. Gradually you will find GOD in more and more of your moments. You will seek GOD and find HIM, when you seek The LORD above all else.”

O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens. From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise because of your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger. When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him? PSALM 8 : 1 – 4

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. PSALM 19 : 1 – 2

“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” JEREMIAH 29 : 13

Prayer

Prayer: God who am I that you would speak to me continually? Sharpen my spiritual eyes and hearing to see and hear you in each moment. Help me to search for you like hidden treasure. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

GOD IS THE FIRM FOUNDATION on which you can dance and sing and celebrate HIS Presence. – PSALM 5 : 11, EPHESIANS 3 : 20 – 21, JUDE 24 – 25, JOSHUA 1 : 5

“GOD IS THE FIRM FOUNDATION on which you can dance and sing and celebrate HIS Presence. This is GOD’S high and holy calling for you; receive it as a precious gift. Glorifying and enjoying GOD is a higher priority than maintaining a tidy, structured life. Give up your striving to keep everything under control—an impossible task and a waste of precious energy. The LORD’S guidance for each of HIS children is unique. That’s why listening to GOD is so vital for your well-being. Let GOD prepare you for the day that awaits you and point you in the right direction. The LORD is with you continually, so don’t be intimidated by fear. Though it stalks you, it cannot harm you, as long as you cling to GOD’S hand. Keep your eyes on GOD, enjoying Peace in HIS Presence.”

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. EPHESIANS 3 : 20 – 21 

To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy— to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen. JUDE 24 – 25 

No one will be able to stand up against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you. JOSHUA 1 : 5

Prayer

Prayer:  Jesus you are my rock and firm foundation on which I stand, all other rocks are sinking sand. Help me to glorify and enjoy you more than trying to keep a tidy life. In Jesus name. Amen. 

YOU ARE GOD’S BELOVED CHILD. – EPHESIANS 1 : 4, PROVERBS 16 : 9, JEREMIAH 29 : 11, EPHESIANS 1 : 13 – 14

“YOU ARE GOD’S BELOVED CHILD. GOD chose you before the foundation of the world, to walk with HIM along paths designed uniquely for you. Concentrate on keeping in step with GOD, instead of trying to anticipate The LORD’S plans for you. If you trust that GOD’S plans are to prosper you and not to harm you, you can relax and enjoy the present moment. Your hope and your future are rooted in heaven, where eternal ecstasy awaits you. Nothing can rob you of your inheritance of unimaginable riches and well-being. Sometimes GOD grants you glimpses of your glorious future, to encourage you and spur you on. But your main focus should be staying close to The LORD. GOD sets the pace in keeping with your needs and HIS purposes.”

And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory. EPHESIANS 1 : 13 – 14

Prayer

Prayer: God help me to walk in the Spirit today, to stay attuned to what you want me to say and do. And help me to relax and enjoy the present moment, knowing you have me in the palm of your hands. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

LEARN TO LAUGH at yourself more freely. – PROVERBS 17 : 22, PROVERBS 31 : 25, MATTHEW 1 : 23, MATTHEW 11 : 28 – 30

“LEARN TO LAUGH at yourself more freely. Don’t take yourself or your circumstances so seriously. Relax and know that The LORD IS God with you. When you desire GOD will above all else, life becomes much less threatening. Stop trying to monitor GOD’S responsibilities—things that are beyond your control. Find freedom by accepting the boundaries of your domain. Laughter lightens your load and lifts your heart into heavenly places. Your laughter rises to heaven and blends with angelic melodies of praise. Just as parents delight in the laughter of their children, so The LORD delights in hearing HIS children laugh. GOD rejoices when you trust HIM enough to enjoy your life lightheartedly. Do not miss the Joy of GOD’S Presence by carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders. Rather, take The LORD’S yoke upon you and learn from GOD. The LORD’S yoke is comfortable and pleasant; HIS burden is light and easily borne.”

Prayer: Lord, help me to enjoy life lightheartedly and trust you with the rest. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

GOD HAS LOVED YOU with an everlasting Love. – JEREMIAH 31 : 3, ISAIAH 61 : 10, 1 PETER 2 : 9

“GOD HAS LOVED YOU with an everlasting Love. Before time began, GOD knew you. For years you swam around in a sea of meaninglessness, searching for Love, hoping for hope. All that time GOD was pursuing you, aching to embrace you in HIS compassionate arms. When the time was right, The LORD revealed Himself to you. GOD lifted you out of that sea of despair and set you down on a firm foundation. Sometimes you felt naked—exposed to the revealing Light of The LORD’S Presence. GOD wrapped an ermine robe around you: HIS robe of righteousness. GOD sang you a Love song, whose beginning and end are veiled in eternity. GOD infused meaning into your mind and harmony into your heart. Join The LORD in singing HIS song. Together you will draw others out of darkness into GOD’S marvelous Light.”

Prayer: Lord it is so amazing to ponder, before time began you knew me. Thank you for your love, your son, for purpose and meaning to my days. Help me to love you and love others well today, for your glory. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
