“What is the price of two sparrows—one copper coin? But not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it. And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows.” Matthew 10:29-31 NLT
Do you ever feel unworthy? Ever wonder if you’re good enough? Well you can be assured by man’s standards you will probably never be good enough, but by God Almighty’s standard you are perfect. Today’s prayer is that we would live to please God !! Live by Gods example….. Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“LINGER IN GOD’S PRESENCE A WHILE. Rein in your impulses to plunge into the day’s activities. Beginning your day alone with GOD is essential preparation for success. A great athlete takes time to prepare himself mentally for the feat ahead of him before he moves a muscle. Similarly, your time of being still in GOD’S Presence equips you for the day ahead of you. Only GOD knows what will happen to you on this day. HE has arranged the events you will encounter as you go along your way. If you are not adequately equipped for the journey, you will grow weary and lose heart. Relax with GOD while HE readies you for action.”
For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. EPHESIANS 2 : 10
Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. HEBREWS 12 : 3
Prayer: Lord help me to linger in your presence for a while. Reining in my impulse to plunge into my to do list. Help me to begin my day alone with you, letting you fill me with your peace and joy and strength to do your will today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
“If you, LORD, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand? But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you.” Psalm 130:3-4 NIV
Isn’t it nice to know that the Lord keeps no record of our sin, can you imagine if he did? We would be in a world of trouble. Today’s prayer is that we would walk in obedience to the Lord and his ways, never take advantage of the cross, but take the time daily to thank God for the cross……Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“DO NOT EXPECT to be treated fairly in this life. People will say and do hurtful things to you, things that you don’t deserve. When someone mistreats you, try to view it as an opportunity to grow in grace. See how quickly you can forgive the one who has wounded you. Don’t be concerned about setting the record straight. Instead of obsessing about other people’s opinions of you, keep your focus on GOD. Ultimately, it is GOD’S view of you that counts. As you concentrate on relating to GOD, remember that HE has clothed you in HIS righteousness and holiness. Christ The LORD sees you attired in these radiant garments, which Christ bought for you with HIS blood. This also is not fair; it is pure gift. When others treat you unfairly, remember that The LORD’S ways with you are much better than fair. GOD’S ways are Peace and Love, which HE has poured out into your heart by HIS Holy Spirit.”
Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. COLOSSIANS 3 : 13
I delight greatly in the LORD; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. ISAIAH 61 : 10
In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding. EPHESIANS 1 : 7 – 8
And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. ROMANS 5 : 5
Prayer: Lord when I am treated unfairly, help me to see it as an opportunity to grow in grace. And to remember how unfair you were treated on the cross. You did that for me. Thank you Jesus. I am eternally grateful. In the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters. If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion—how can God’s love be in that person? 1 John 3:16-17 NLT
It’s hard to wrap your arms around God’s love for us, after all we have done in our lives that he still calls us children, blows me away still. This scripture talks about doing for others, helping, when you see someone in need do you help or just turn a blind eye ? Today I pray that we would all show the love of Jesus to all, friends, enemies and strangers….Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“AS YOU BECOME increasingly aware of GOD’S Presence, you find it easier to discern the way you should go. This is one of the practical benefits of living close to GOD. Instead of wondering about what is on the road ahead or worrying about what you should do if . . . or when . . ., you can concentrate on staying in communication with GOD. When you actually arrive at a choice-point, The LORD will show you which direction to go. Many people are so preoccupied with future plans and decisions that they fail to see choices they need to make today. Without any conscious awareness, they make their habitual responses. People who live this way find a dullness creeping into their lives. They sleepwalk through their days, following well-worn paths of routine. GOD, the Creator of the universe, is the most creative Being imaginable. GOD will not leave you circling in deeply rutted paths. Instead, GOD will lead you along fresh trails of adventure, revealing to you things you did not know. Stay in communication with GOD. Follow HIS guiding Presence.”
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you. PSALM 32 : 8
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. GENESIS 1 : 1
Prayer: Lord I’m so thankful you are the most creative being imaginable. So when I don’t see a way out or a way through a trial, that’s okay. I can ask You to show me step by step which way to go. It is always an adventure with you Lord. I love you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. 1 John 1:5-7 NKJV
It is so important as Christians to let our light shine, it is so easy when trials arise to shut the light off and let the dark show and that is exactly what the devil wants. To have true fellowship with The Lord is defined by our actions, remember non believers and some believers are watching what we do under the gun. Today I pray that we all will let our light shine to the glory of God, for he created light and he is light………..Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“COME TO GOD when you are hurting, and GOD will soothe your pain. Come to GOD when you are joyful, and GOD will share your Joy, multiplying it many times over. GOD is All you need, just when you need it. Your deepest desires find fulfillment in GOD alone. This is the age of self-help. Bookstores abound with books about “taking care of number one,” making oneself the center of all things. The main goal of these methodologies is to become self-sufficient and confident. You, however, have been called to take a “road less traveled”: continual dependence on The LORD. True confidence comes from knowing you are complete in GOD’S Presence. Everything you need has its counterpart in The LORD.”
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” JOHN 15 : 5
Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. JAMES 1 : 4
Prayer: Lord help me to abide in you so I can bear much fruit. You are all I need, just when I need it whether at the top of the mountain or in the darkest valley. My deepest desires find fulfillment in you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
“Yes indeed, it is good when you obey the royal law as found in the Scriptures: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” But if you favor some people over others, you are committing a sin. You are guilty of breaking the law.” James 2:8-9
This scripture is a poke in the eye!! Why? Because we all are at fault of this. It is always easier to give the best to a friend but why not a stranger? Today’s prayer is we would see one person just as Jesus did and show the same favor to all……Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“GOD IS WITH YOU, for all time and throughout eternity. Don’t let the familiarity of that concept numb its impact on your consciousness. GOD’S perpetual Presence with you can be a continual source of Joy, springing up and flowing out in streams of abundant Life. Let your mind reverberate with meanings of CHRIST’S Names: Jesus—the Lord saves, and Emmanuel—God with us. Strive to remain conscious of The LORD’S Presence even in your busiest moments. Talk with GOD about whatever delights you, whatever upsets you, whatever is on your mind. These tiny steps of daily discipline, taken one after the other, will keep you close to The LORD on the path of Life.”
“She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.” . . . “The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel”—which means, “God with us.” MATTHEW 1 : 21,23
“You have made known to me the paths of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence.” ACTS 2 : 28
Prayer: God help me never to let the familiarity of Jesus’ sacrifice numb its impact. We love you because you first loved us. You proved it by sending your one and only son to die for my sins, to pay my debt, so I could live free here and now and for eternity. Thank you Jesus. In your name I pray. Amen.
