‭‭Luke‬ ‭9 : 23

“Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭9 : 23‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Do you carry your cross daily? And do you truly understand what it means to carry your cross? The LORD, JESUS CHRIST spoke about being disciples and denying themselves. To deny yourself is to give up earthly desires to not only live as JESUS CHRIST did but to also expect persecution as The LORD did. As Christians we are under attack not only from the devil but also the world. Today’s prayer is that we would embrace GOD’S amazing grace and pray to be shaped into the disciples that JESUS CHRIST longs for …… Be Blessed!

“TASTE AND SEE THAT GOD IS GOOD. This command contains an invitation to experience GOD’S living Presence. It also contains a promise. The more you experience GOD, the more convinced you become of HIS goodness. This knowledge is essential to your faith-walk. When adversities strike, the human instinct is to doubt GOD’S goodness. The LORD’S ways are mysterious, even to those who know HIM intimately. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are GOD’S ways and thoughts higher than your ways and thoughts. Do not try to fathom The LORD’S ways. Instead, spend time enjoying GOD and experiencing HIS goodness.”

Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him. PSALM 34 : 8

Prayer

Prayer: Lord, thank You that You are always good, even when I don’t understand what You are doing. Like Job, help me to not hold onto anything tighter than I hold onto you and even in adversity, may I be able to say, “the Lord gives and takes away. Blessed be the name of the Lord.” In Jesus’ name. Amen

“Woe to the obstinate children,” declares the Lord, “to those who carry out plans that are not mine, forming an alliance, but not by my Spirit, heaping sin upon sin; Isaiah‬ ‭30‬ :‭ 1‬ NIV

All of the turmoil in the world today is a clear sign of what GOD spoke through the prophet Isaiah, there are events globally that describe the end time events. Today I pray for the nations and the people that are being killed for their faith, I pray that GOD would stretch out HIS hand upon all that are in these situations ……… Be Blessed

“GOD IS LIFE AND LIGHT IN ABUNDANCE. As you spend time “soaking” in GOD’S Presence, you are energized and lightened. Through communing with GOD, you transfer your heavy burdens to HIS strong shoulders. By gazing at GOD, you gain HIS perspective on your life. This time alone with The LORD is essential for unscrambling your thoughts and smoothing out the day before you. Be willing to fight for this precious time with GOD. Opposition comes in many forms: your own desire to linger in bed; the evil one’s determination to distract you from GOD; the pressure of family, friends, and your own inner critic to spend your time more productively. As you grow in your desire to please The LORD above all else, you gain strength to resist these opponents. Delight yourself in The LORD, for GOD is the deepest Desire of your heart.”

About Benjamin he said: “Let the beloved of the LORD rest secure in him, for he shields him all day long, and the one the LORD loves rests between his shoulders.” DEUTERONOMY 33 : 12 

Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart. PSALM 37 : 4

Prayer

Prayer: Lord, thank You that You are my source of life, strength, and peace. Help me protect my time with You each day, laying every burden at Your feet and allowing You to renew my heart and mind. May my greatest desire be to know You more and to walk closely with You in all I do. Amen.

Oh to being pleasing to GOD, HE loves when we become more like HIS Son. The way we think determines the way we act, for example if we look at the negative in all situations we will become negative, if we look at the positives we will become positive. Today’s prayer is that we would be bright witnesses to the positive change having The LORD, JESUS CHRIST as the cornerstone in our lives and let all know it’s waiting for them as well ……. You are increasingly released to become the one The LORD created you to be. This is a work that GOD does in you as you yield to HIS Spirit. GOD can do HIS best handiwork when you sit in the stillness of HIS Presence, focusing your entire being on GOD. Let GOD’S thoughts burst freely upon your consciousness, stimulating abundant Life. Prayer: Holy Spirit, control my thoughts and my actions today, align them with your will so I can experience true freedom. Thank you Jesus for laying down your life to make it possible to experience freedom, joy and peace. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Do you ever feel like you fall short all the time? Do you miss the mark daily? Well news flash we all do. The only perfect person to ever walk the earth was JESUS CHRIST and we are not HIM. The beauty of it all is that JESUS CHRIST  died for every one of our shortcomings so we could be forgiven. Today’s prayer is when we miss the mark that we would repent and ask GOD to fix our shortcomings so that we would have the integrity that pleases GOD Almighty …… Be Blessed !!

“AS YOU GET OUT OF BED in the morning, be aware of GOD’S Presence with you. You may not be thinking clearly yet, but GOD is. Your early morning thoughts tend to be anxious ones until you get connected with The LORD. Invite GOD into your thoughts by whispering HIS Name. Suddenly your day brightens and feels more user-friendly. You cannot dread a day that is vibrant with GOD’S Presence. You gain confidence through knowing that GOD is with you— that you face nothing alone. Anxiety stems from asking the wrong question: “If such and such happens, can I handle it?” The true question is not whether you can cope with whatever happens, but whether you and GOD together can handle anything that occurs. It is this you-and-GOD-together factor that gives you confidence to face the day cheerfully.”

Prayer: Lord, as I begin this day, help my first thoughts turn to You instead of worry. Remind me that I do not face anything alone because You are with me. Fill my heart with confidence and peace as we walk through this day together. Amen.

Do you feel like you’re always doing the right thing? Do you feel like you are living a life that pleases GOD? This Proverb tells us that we may feel we are doing the right things in our heart but GOD sees all. Today’s prayer is that we would give our lives a “once over” and ask GOD to help us correct the areas in which we fall short …… Be Blessed !

“STAY CALMLY conscious of GOD today, no matter what. Remember that GOD goes before you as well as with you into the day. Nothing takes The LORD by surprise. GOD will not allow circumstances to overwhelm you, so long as you look to HIM. GOD will help you cope with whatever the moment presents. Collaborating with GOD brings blessings that far outweigh all your troubles. Awareness of The LORD’S Presence contains Joy that can endure all eventualities.”

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 2 CORINTHIANS 4 : 16 – 17

Prayer

Prayer: Lord, help me stay mindful of You throughout this day. Remind me that You have already gone before me and that nothing I face is beyond Your care. When challenges arise, keep my eyes fixed on you and fill me with the peace and joy that come from trusting You. Amen.
