COME TO GOD FOR REST and refreshment. – ROMANS 8 : 28, PSALM 42 : 11

“COME TO GOD FOR REST and refreshment. The journey has been too much for you, and you are bone-weary. Do not be ashamed of your exhaustion. Instead, see it as an opportunity for GOD to take charge of your life. Remember that GOD can fit everything into a pattern for good, including the things you wish were different. Start with where you are at this point in time and space, accept that this is where GOD intends you to be. You will get through today one step, one moment at a time. Your main responsibility is to remain attentive to GOD, letting HIM guide you through the many choices along your pathway. This sounds like an easy assignment, but it is not. Your desire to live in The LORD’S Presence goes against the grain of “the world, the flesh, and the devil.” Much of your weariness results from your constant battle against these opponents. However, you are on the path of GOD’S choosing, so do not give up! Hope in The LORD, for you will again praise HIM for the help of HIS Presence.”

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. ROMANS 8 : 28

Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; For I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God. PSALM 42 : 11 (NKJV)

Prayer: Lord help me to accept exactly where you have me today and to focus on being more attentive to you, letting you guide me through the many choice points today. And no matter how weary or tough things get, may I never give up hope and remember all things are possible through Christ who gives me strength! Amen.
