“GOD LOVES YOU FOR WHO YOU ARE, not for what you do. Many voices vie for control of your mind, especially when you sit in silence. You must learn to discern what is GOD’S voice and what is not. Ask GOD’S Holy Spirit to give you this discernment. Many of GOD’S children run around in circles, trying to obey the various voices directing their lives. This results in fragmented, frustrating patterns of living. Do not fall into this trap. Walk closely with GOD each moment, listening for HIS directives and enjoying HIS Companionship. Refuse to let other voices tie you up in knots. The LORD’S sheep know HIS voice and follow The LORD wherever HE leads.”
As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. Prayer: Lord help me to discern your voice. To know with certainty when you speak to me whether that’s through your word, your still small voice inside my heart, through peace, or through Godly people that it’s your voice, your words. And then help me to obey. In sweet Jesus’ name. Amen.
