“Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.” Luke 23:34 NIV
To his last breath Jesus was pleading the case for the sinner, hanging on the cross beaten and torn; he was asking the Father to forgive them for what they had done and were doing. Is there someone that you are holding unforgiveness against? If so, think of the words of Jesus from the cross. Today’s prayer is that we would forgive as Jesus did and not condemn those who persecute us but pray to the Father to forgive them…..There is power and freedom in forgiveness……..Be Blessed
