Psalms 37:4 – 5

Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. Psalms 37:4 – 5 NKJV

Life gets so busy we make JUST enough time for The Lord. This scripture tells us delight yourself, the meaning of delight is ” something that brings you extreme pleasure, happiness” we as believers should put Jesus before anything else, he is our BFF, The Lord takes pleasure when we consult him in everything…… Today I pray we would all get alone with God and have a personal conversation with him……..be blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you. I praise God for what he has promised. I trust in God, so why should I be afraid? What can mere mortals do to me? ‭Psalms‬ ‭56‬:‭3-4‬ NLT

What are you afraid of ? What is it that worries you? What makes you fret? Today’s prayer is that you will put all your trust in God, he always has your back in all situations……Be Blessed

SELF – PITY IS A SLIMY, BOTTOMLESS PIT. – PSALM 40 : 2 – 3, PSALM 42 : 5, PSALM 147 : 11

“SELF – PITY IS A SLIMY, BOTTOMLESS PIT. Once you fall in, you tend to go deeper and deeper into the mire. As you slide down those slippery walls, you are well on your way to depression, and the darkness is profound. Your only hope is to look up and see the Light of GOD’S Presence shining down on you. Though the Light looks dim from your perspective, deep in the pit, those rays of hope can reach you at any depth. While you focus on GOD in trust, you rise ever so slowly out of the abyss of despair. Finally, you can reach up and grasp GOD’S hand. GOD will pull you out into the Light again. HE will gently cleanse you, washing off the clinging mire. The LORD will cover you with HIS righteousness and walk with you down the path of Life.”

He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the LORD. PSALM 40 : 2 – 3

Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him For the help of His countenance. PSALM 42 : 5 (NKJV)

The LORD delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love. PSALM 147 : 11

Prayer: Lord when I start to go down a self-pity route, help me remember I don’t have to rely on my own strength. You are my rock and my fortress. And you will fight my battles for me, when I give up control. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Psalms‬ ‭119:11

“I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.” Psalms‬ ‭119:11‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The written word of God is so critical for Christians to have in their heart! If the word is on the paper in the binding full of dust on your bookcase it is of no purpose to you!!!! Today’s prayer is that we would all know the word is stamped in our hearts so that we will be a beacon of light for the world to see……..Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

DO NOT WORRY ABOUT TOMORROW! – MATTHEW 6 : 34, 2 CORINTHIANS 12 : 9, PSALM 62 : 8

“DO NOT WORRY ABOUT TOMORROW! This is not a suggestion, but a command. GOD divided time into days and nights, so that you would have manageable portions of life to handle. GOD’S grace is sufficient for you, but its sufficiency is for only one day at a time. When you worry about the future, you heap day upon day of troubles onto your flimsy frame. You stagger under this heavy load, which The LORD never intended you to carry. Throw off this oppressive burden with one quick thrust of trust. Anxious thoughts meander about and crisscross in your brain, but trusting GOD brings you directly into HIS Presence. As you thus affirm your faith, shackles of worry fall off instantly. Enjoy GOD’S Presence continually by trusting HIM at all times.”

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. MATTHEW 6 : 34

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 2 CORINTHIANS 12 : 9

Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. PSALM 62 : 8 (NKJV)

Prayer: Lord you give me enough grace for one day at a time so when my mind wanders into the future, gently remind me to come back to the present, to enjoy the present with you and those around me. Thank you for my daily bread. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

KEEP WALKING with GOD along the path HE has chosen for you. – PSALM 37 : 23 – 24, PSALM 16 : 11

“KEEP WALKING with GOD along the path HE has chosen for you. Your desire to live close to The LORD is a delight to GOD’S heart. The LORD could instantly grant you the spiritual riches you desire, but that is not GOD’S way for you. Together you will forge a pathway up the high mountain. The journey is arduous at times, and you are weak. Someday you will dance light-footed on the high peaks; but for now, your walk is often plodding and heavy. All GOD requires of you is to take the next step, clinging to HIS hand for strength and direction. Though the path is difficult and the scenery dull at the moment, there are sparkling surprises just around the bend. Stay on the path GOD has selected for you. It is truly the path of Life.”

If the LORD delights in a man’s way, he makes his steps firm; though he stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand. PSALM 37 : 23 – 24

You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. PSALM 16 : 11 (NKJV)

Prayer: Lord, thank you for the reminder there is a purpose in every pain, and in this life we will have trouble but to take heart because you have overcome the world and one fine day there will be no more pain or suffering, no sickness, no tears. Only endless joy. Thank you Lord. Amen.

Romans‬ ‭6:23

“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭6:23‬ ‭ESV‬‬

This scripture speaks about choice, we all were born into sin but throughout our life we are given a choice to continue to live in sin or gain freedom through the sacrifice that Jesus paid. Today’s prayer is that we would truly seek to bring souls to the Lord! Let the cross of Calvary not be for just sum but for all…….Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

GOD WANTS YOU TO EXPERIENCE the riches of your salvation: the Joy of being loved constantly and perfectly. – EPHESIANS 2 : 7 – 8, HEBREWS 3 : 1, PSALM 34 : 5

“GOD WANTS YOU TO EXPERIENCE the riches of your salvation: the Joy of being loved constantly and perfectly. You make a practice of judging yourself, based on how you look or behave or feel. If you like what you see in the mirror, you feel a bit more worthy of GOD’S Love. When things are going smoothly and your performance seems adequate, you find it easier to believe you are The LORD’S beloved child. When you feel discouraged, you tend to look inward so you can correct whatever is wrong. Instead of trying to “fix” yourself, fix your gaze on GOD, the Lover of your soul. Rather than using your energy to judge yourself, redirect it to praising The LORD. Remember that GOD sees you clothed in HIS righteousness, radiant in HIS perfect Love.”

. . . in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God. EPHESIANS 2 : 7 – 8

Therefore, holy brothers, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus, the apostle and high priest whom we confess. HEBREWS 3 : 1

Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. PSALM 34 : 5

Prayer: God instead of trying to fix myself or my problems, help me to fix my eyes and my thoughts on you. To redirect my energy to praising and thanking you for all you’ve done and all you are going to do. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

‭‭1 John‬ ‭2:5-6‬

“But if anyone obeys his word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.” ‭‭1 John‬ ‭2:5-6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

This scripture breaks it down in such simple terms it’s amazing. If someone asked you do you love God what would your response be? Of course it would be YES so if you love God don’t you want to try to please him at all times? To live like Jesus is to live a life that is pleasing to God, have a heart of a servant. Today’s prayer is that we would wake up daily and start our day out by praying “Heavenly Father let me not serve myself today, but serve only you” let your will be done throughout my day and make this day not mine but yours” I believe this confession will help us all live more like Jesus……..Be Blessed

WHENEVER YOU FEEL DISTANT from GOD, whisper GOD’S Name in loving trust. – ACTS 4 : 12, JOHN 16 : 24

“WHENEVER YOU FEEL DISTANT from GOD, whisper GOD’S Name in loving trust. This simple prayer can restore your awareness of GOD’S Presence. GOD’S Name is constantly abused in the world, where people use it as a curse word. This verbal assault reaches all the way to heaven; every word is heard and recorded. When you trustingly whisper The LORD’S Name, HIS aching ears are soothed. The grating rancor of the world’s blasphemies cannot compete with a trusting child’s utterance: “Jesus.” The power of The LORD’S Name to bless both you and GOD is beyond your understanding.”

“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.” ACTS 4 : 12

Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete. JOHN 16 : 24

Prayer: There is no other name like the name of Jesus. Thank you Lord for reminding me to pray for anything in your name, and if it’s in your will, it will be done in your perfect timing. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
