Romans 1:16

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. Romans 1:16 NKJV

Oh to be like Paul was ….. The apostle Paul was one of the most influential writers of the Bible. Paul was a murderer and yet God still called him. Paul wrote most of the New Testament, and most of it was written from prison. When Paul was called from The Lord he never looked back, he always was thankful for being saved from the life he once led. Paul says “I’m not ashamed of the gospel” and he proved that to his dying day. Today I pray that we would all be as bold as Paul was in spreading the gospel, he was empowered by God and so are we………be blessed

COME TO GOD with all your weaknesses: physical, emotional, and spiritual. – LUKE 1 : 37, EPHESIANS 3 : 20 – 21, PSALM 23 : 1 – 4

“COME TO GOD with all your weaknesses: physical, emotional, and spiritual. Rest in the comfort of GOD’S Presence, remembering that nothing is impossible with GOD. Pry your mind away from your problems so you can focus your attention on The LORD. Recall that The LORD is able to do immeasurably more than all you ask or imagine. Instead of trying to direct GOD to do this and that, seek to attune yourself to what The LORD is already doing. When anxiety attempts to wedge its way into your thoughts, remind yourself that GOD is your Shepherd. The bottom line is that GOD is taking care of you; therefore, you needn’t be afraid of anything. Rather than trying to maintain control over your life, abandon yourself to The LORD’S will. Though this may feel frightening— even dangerous, the safest place to be is in GOD’S will.”

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. EPHESIANS 3 : 20 – 21

The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. PSALM 23 : 1 – 4

Prayer: Lord, I come to you with all my weaknesses. Attune my heart to what you are already doing in my life. Keep me on the path of your will, the safest place I can be. In Jesus’ precious name. Amen.

How’s your prayer life? Are your lines of communication open to God? Do you go to the Lord in all situations, or just when you need something? Trust GOD enough to face problems as they come, rather than trying to anticipate them. Fix your eyes on The LORD, the Author and Perfecter of your faith, and many difficulties on the road ahead will vanish before you reach them. Whenever you start to feel afraid, remember that GOD is holding you by your right hand. Nothing can separate you from GOD’S Presence!”

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. HEBREWS 12 : 2

“For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.” ISAIAH 41 : 13

Prayer: Lord help these promises to sink deep down in my heart. I will not give into fear, worry or stress today – those robbers of abundant living. Instead I will focus, fix my eyes, on your great and precious presence and promises. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:10

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:10‬ ‭

As believers all of our sins were judged at the cross! But the second judgement will come before Jesus himself. That judgement will be for what we did as believers, did you just use your salvation as fire insurance? Or did you use your salvation to witness the gospel to all you could? Today’s prayer is that we would all use what God gave us to operate in a way that brings God glory…….Be Blessed

PEACE BE WITH YOU! – JOHN 20 : 19, 21, JOHN 14 : 27

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” JOHN 14 : 27

Prayer: Lord thank you for your peace that surpasses understanding. No matter the circumstances of life, good or bad, what a precious gift of peace you offer me. As I sit quietly in your presence, let your Spirit cover me with the fruits of the Spirit – love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

John‬ ‭17‬:‭22-23‬

“I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one. I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me. John‬ ‭17‬:‭22-23‬ NLT

Jesus said he gave us perfect unity so that our witness will be different from the world, how is your witness working out? Do you respond to situations like someone who doesn’t know Jesus? Or do you respond based on the values of the promise he gave us? Today I pray that our responses would be filled with faith and on the foundation of God’s living word and promise…..Be Blessed

Later, Levi held a banquet in his home with Jesus as the guest of honor. Many of Levi’s fellow tax collectors and other guests also ate with them. But the Pharisees and their teachers of religious law complained bitterly to Jesus’ disciples, “Why do you eat and drink with such scum? ” Jesus answered them, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor—sick people do. I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners and need to repent.” Luke‬ ‭5‬:‭29-32‬ NLT

Have you put yourself in a Christian bubble? Do you only associate with other believers ? When was the last time you saw someone living in sin and told them that Jesus loves them? Jesus took a lot of criticism for eating with the sinners at Matthews house, but have you ever wondered what the Pharisee’s were doing there?. The person who portrays that they are so righteous may need the most witness. Today I pray that we would all love equally! Believer and Non believer, to be more like Jesus we have to love the sinner, but not the sin……Be Blessed

SEEK GOD’S FACE more and more. – PSALM 27 : 8 , 2 CORINTHIANS 4 : 7, ISAIAH 12 : 2

“SEEK GOD’S FACE more and more. You are really just beginning your journey of intimacy with GOD. It is not an easy road, but it is a delightful and privileged way: a treasure hunt. GOD is the Treasure, and the Glory of HIS Presence glistens and shimmers along the way. Hardships are part of the journey to. The LORD metes them out ever so carefully, in just the right dosage, with a tenderness you can hardly imagine. Do not recoil from afflictions, since they are among GOD’S most favored gifts. Trust GOD and don’t be afraid, for The LORD is your Strength and Song.”

My heart says of you, “Seek his face!” Your face, LORD, I will seek. PSALM 27 : 8

But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. 2 CORINTHIANS 4 : 7

“Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD, is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.” ISAIAH 12 : 2

Prayer: Lord, I know I am just beginning this journey of intimacy with you. It is a treasure hunt and you are the treasure. Lord you are my rock, my fortress in times of trouble. You are my strength when I am weak. Fill me with your love today so I can share your love with others. In Jesus’ precious name. Amen.

“The LORD is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him.” Psalms‬ ‭28:7‬ ‭

Where does your strength come from? Who do you put your trust in? Today’s prayer is that we all would turn to Jesus for our strength to overcome the daily trials and to trust and praise him for all daily……..Be Blessed
