‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:13

“For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.” ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The definition of Liberty is “Freedom”. This scripture speaks of freedom and says do not use it as a free pass to sin. Grace brings freedom by the Cross, and all things are made new by Jesus Christ. Today’s prayer is we would all embrace our freedom in Christ and strive to be more like him in every way. I pray we do not use our freedom to satisfy ourselves, but to do a good work in Jesus name…….Be Blessed

“God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭18:30‬ ‭NLT‬‬

This Psalm sums it up, Gods way is perfect!!! Our way is a best bad, our decisions usually leave us with either regret or feeling empty. Today’s prayer is that we would do our best to follow Gods way in all we do and when we miss the mark (which we will) we go to his grace and begin a new…… Be Blessed

“GOD IS THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD. Men crawl through their lives cursing the darkness, but all the while GOD is shining brightly. GOD desires each of HIS followers to be a Light-bearer. The Holy Spirit who lives in you can shine from your face, making GOD visible to people around you. Ask GOD’S Holy Spirit to live through you, as you wind your way through this day. Hold The LORD’S hand in joyful trust, for HE never leaves your side. The Light of GOD’S Presence is shining upon you. Brighten up the world by reflecting who GOD is.”

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” JOHN 8 : 12

“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” MATTHEW 5 : 14 – 16

And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. 2 CORINTHIANS 3 : 18

God said to Moses, “I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’” EXODUS 3 : 14

Prayer: God help me be a reflection of your glory. May your Spirit live through me. Help me to stay atuned to what the Holy Spirit is doing in and through me with my thoughts, words and actions. Let them see you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

“FIND FREEDOM through seeking to please GOD above all else. You can have only one Master. When you let others’ expectations drive you, you scatter your energy to the winds. Your own desire to look good can also drain your energy. GOD is your Master, and GOD does not drive you to be what you are not. Your pretense displeases The LORD, especially when it is in HIS “service.” Concentrate on staying close to GOD at all times. It is impossible to be inauthentic while you are focusing on GOD’S Presence.”

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord. EPHESIANS 5 : 8 – 10

“But you are not to be called ‘Rabbi,’ for you have only one Master and you are all brothers.” MATTHEW 23 : 8

“Be careful not to do your ‘acts of righteousness’ before men, to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.” MATTHEW 6 : 1

Personal Note: To quote a wise pastor ” I’m just one beggar telling another beggar where to find bread !” Ground at the foot of the cross is level !

Prayer: Lord, Thank you for the freedom in seeking to please you above all else. Help me to concentrate on staying close to you today, the safest place to be. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Remember when you didn’t belong to Jesus? Your life had a very trivial meaning. The life you lived in sin was destined for an eternity of doom!! But now you have a life of eternity in heaven. “REST IN GOD’S PRESENCE WHEN you need refreshment. Resting is not necessarily idleness, as people often perceive it. When you relax in GOD’S company, you are demonstrating trust in The LORD. Trust is a rich word, laden with meaning and direction for your life. GOD wants you to lean on, trust, and be confident in HIM. When you lean on The LORD for support, HE delights in your trusting confidence. Many people turn away from GOD when they are exhausted. They associate GOD with duty and diligence, so they try to hide from HIS Presence when they need a break from work. How this saddens GOD! As GOD spoke through HIS prophet Isaiah: In returning to GOD and resting in GOD you shall be saved; in quietness and trust shall be your strength.”

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. PROVERBS 3 : 5

For thus said the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel, In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and in trust shall be your strength.But you were unwilling, ISAIAH 30 : 15

Prayer: God help me to rest in your presence for refreshment each day. And when I am feeling weary, come to you, trusting you will give me the rest and strength I need. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

It’s time to wake up!!!! This world is a disaster with all the division, hate, selfishness, entitlement, etc must have God in tears! We are all one people and should be able to live in one accord together, helping one another, being there for one another, loving one another. Today’s prayer is that we especially as Christians would remember our commission from God to be the example of Christ and bring light wherever you are….. Do not feel guilty about taking time to be still in The LORD’S Presence. You are simply responding to the tugs of divinity within you. GOD made you in HIS image, and GOD hid heaven in your heart. Your yearning for The LORD is a form of homesickness: longing for your true home in heaven. Do not be afraid to be different from other people. The path GOD has called you to travel is exquisitely right for you. The more closely you follow The LORD’S leading, the more fully HE can develop your gifts. To follow GOD wholeheartedly, you must relinquish your desire to please other people. However, your closeness to GOD will bless others by enabling you to shine brightly in this dark world.”

As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God? PSALM 42 : 1 – 2

Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. PSALM 34 : 5

Prayer: Lord, when I seek your face I find all that I have longed for. My deepest yearnings are for intimacy with you. Help me to walk in the Spirit, following you more closely wherever you lead. In Jesus’ precious name. Amen.

Are you giving from a Godly heart or an earthly heart? All Things are from God and we should be treating them as so. We can sometimes put a value on possessions that makes them our god! Agree?
