“The end of a thing is better than it’s beginning; The patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.” Ecclesiastes 7:8 NKJV
Have you ever noticed how most things finish better than they start if we have patience? Do you ever get the I want it now attitude? Well I know I have fallen into this trap and made a mess of many things. This scripture paints a clear picture that good things come to those who wait. The best we have to look forward too is the Lords return. Today’s prayer is that we would all pray for patience and in the process be humble…….Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“SEEK GOD’S FACE, and you will find more than you ever dreamed possible. Let GOD displace worry at the center of your being. GOD is like a super saturated cloud, showering Peace into the pool of your mind. The LORD’S Nature is to bless. Your nature is to receive with thanksgiving. This is a true fit, designed before the foundation of the world. Glorify GOD by receiving HIS blessings gratefully. GOD is the goal of all your searching. When you seek The LORD, you find HIM and are satisfied. When lesser goals capture your attention, GOD fades into the background of your life. GOD is still there, watching and waiting; but you function as if you were alone. Actually, GOD’S Light shines on every situation you will ever face. Live radiantly by expanding your focus to include The LORD in all your moments. Let nothing dampen your search for GOD.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young
When You said, “Seek My face,” My heart said to You, “Your face, LORD, I will seek.” PSALM 27 : 8 (NKJV)
Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life. PHILIPPIANS 4 : 7 (MSG)
“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” JEREMIAH 29 : 13
Prayer: Lord you are the goal of all of my searching. You are the only one who can make me whole and fill me with joy and peace. You are the only one Jesus who can make me right with God. The work you did, in my place, on the cross settled it. No more striving to keep the law. It is finished. My eternity is sealed. Thank you, thank you Jesus. Amen.
He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.” Revelation 21:4 NLT
Circumstances can seem so bad that you feel they will never end, well there is good news and this scripture explains it. The world will bring heartache and trials but when it’s over all that will cease!!!!! Today I pray that we would all see through the troubles to the solution Jesus!!! That day will come where all is at peace and joy……Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“GOD IS LEADING YOU ALONG THE HIGH ROAD, but there are descents as well as ascents. In the distance you see snow-covered peaks glistening in brilliant sunlight. Your longing to reach those peaks is good, but you must not take shortcuts. Your assignment is to follow GOD, allowing The LORD to direct your path. Let the heights beckon you onward, but stay close to GOD. Learn to trust GOD when things go “wrong.” Disruptions to your routine highlight your dependence on The LORD. Trusting acceptance of trials brings blessings that far outweigh them all. Walk hand in hand with GOD through this day. HE has lovingly planned every inch of the way. Trust does not falter when the path becomes rocky and steep. Breathe deep breaths of GOD’S Presence, and hold tightly to The LORD’S hand. Together you and GOD can make it!” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young
Jesus said this to indicate the kind of death by which Peter would glorify God. Then he said to him, “Follow me!” JOHN 21 : 19
For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 2 CORINTHIANS 4 : 17
The Sovereign LORD is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to go on the heights. For the director of music. On my stringed instruments. HABAKKUK 3 : 19
Prayer: Lord help me to develop trusting acceptance of trials and learn to walk hand in hand with you through them. Knowing and trusting your plan and your process. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God. 1 Peter 1:18-21 NKJV
Payment for things of the world are all temporary, you pay your mortgage and payment is required a month later, you pay your car payment and it’s again due next month. On that day at Calvary payment for our lives was given once and for all!!!!! Never again is payment needed, you could say Jesus has the title to our souls. Today realize the liberty we have in Jesus and praise his Holy name, all around us is temporal but heaven is eternal………….Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“And in the process of time it came to pass that Cain brought an offering of the fruit of the ground to the LORD. Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat. And the LORD respected Abel and his offering, but He did not respect Cain and his offering. And Cain was very angry, and his countenance fell. So the LORD said to Cain, “Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.”” Genesis 4:3-7 NKJV
I believe this scripture is essential for all of us. Cain brought the least and Able brought the first, the best, the deserving of the Lord! Are you giving God your best or just the leftovers? Today’s prayers are that we would always give God our best, our 100% be faithful to God because he is always faithful to us…….. Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” Galatians 5:1 NIV
Before we knew Jesus we were prisoners to the world, after Jesus we are set free from all the strongholds we once had. This scripture tells us to stand firm and know that we are free!!! Today’s prayer is that when we feel weak don’t turn away but instead seek the love of Jesus and he will always remind us of our freedom in him…….Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“GOD’S FACE IS SHINING UPON YOU, beaming out Peace that transcends understanding. You are surrounded by a sea of problems, but you are face to Face with GOD, your Peace. As long as you focus on GOD, you are safe. If you gaze too long at the myriad problems around you, you will sink under the weight of your burdens. When you start to sink, simply call out “Help me, Jesus!” and CHRIST will lift you up. The closer you live to The LORD, the safer you are. Circumstances around you are undulating, and there are treacherous-looking waves in the distance. Fix your eyes on The LORD, the One who never changes. By the time those waves reach you, they will have shrunk to proportions of HIS design. The LORD is always beside you, helping you face today’s waves. The future is a phantom, seeking to spook you. Laugh at the future! Stay close to GOD.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. PHILIPPIANS 4 : 7
Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!” MATTHEW 14 : 30
Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. HEBREWS 12 : 2
Prayer: Lord even when I’m surrounded by a sea of problems may I meet you in the inner room of my heart, where you always are, and where there is peace that surpasses all understanding. I meet you in my inner sanctuary Lord where I can quickly hide away with you, if even for one second, before returning to the world. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
“Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” Psalm 90:12 NIV
We all have a day that we will meet the Lord, are you living life with a just get by attitude or are you living life to the fullest for God? Today’s prayer is that we would approach every day with thanks and with a heart to serve the Lord with all our heart……..Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“LET GOD BLESS YOU with HIS grace and Peace. Open your heart and mind to receive all that GOD has for you. Do not be ashamed of your emptiness. Instead, view it as the optimal condition for being filled with The LORD’S Peace. It is easy to touch up your outward appearance, to look as if you have it all together. Your attempts to look good can fool most people. But GOD sees straight through you, into the depths of your being. There is no place for pretense in your relationship with The LORD. Rejoice in the relief of being fully understood. Talk with GOD about your struggles and feelings of inadequacy. Little by little, GOD will transform your weaknesses into strengths. Remember that your relationship with The LORD is saturated in grace. Therefore, nothing that you do or don’t do can separate you from The LORD’S Presence.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young
But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.” 1 SAMUEL 16 : 7
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. ROMANS 8 : 38 – 39
Prayer: Lord saturate me with your grace and peace. I confess I often feel inadequate to do what you’ve called me to do. Little by little, transform my weakness into your strength, for your glory. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
