Daily Devotional Video 7/3/2020 – LUKE 6 : 37, 2 TIMOTHY 4 : 8, TITUS 3 : 5, ROMANS 8 : 1

“GOD’S CHILDREN make a pastime of judging one another—and themselves. But GOD is the only capable Judge, and The LORD has acquitted you through his own blood. Your acquittal came at the price of Jesus Christ’s unparalleled sacrifice. That is why GOD is highly offended when HE hear HIS children judge one another or indulge in self-hatred. If you live close to GOD and absorb HIS Word, the Holy Spirit will guide and correct you as needed. There is no condemnation for those who belong to GOD.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

“Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.” LUKE 6 : 37

Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. 2 TIMOTHY 4 : 8

He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit. TITUS 3 : 5

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. ROMANS 8 : 1

Prayer: God help me to live close to you and absorb your word. May your Holy Spirit guide and correct me as needed when my thoughts and words aren’t pleasing to you. Let only things that are true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and admirable come out of my mouth. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Philippians 1:9-10

And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ, (Philippians 1:9-10 NKJV)

Love is a funny thing, Jesus said love everyone like yourself, that is one of the most difficult things to do. The key to this scripture is listen to the leading of the Holy Spirit…..Jesus loved the sinner but hated the sin……today I pray we can all be like Jesus in the way of loving one another and being good to all, even the ones we don’t care for…….Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

“LET GOD SHOW YOU HIS way for you this day. GOD guides you continually, so you can relax and enjoy HIS Presence in the present. Living well is both a discipline and an art. Concentrate on staying close to GOD, the divine Artist. Discipline your thoughts to trust GOD as The LORD works HIS ways in your life. Pray about everything; then, leave outcomes up to GOD. Do not fear GOD’S will, for through it The LORD accomplishes what is best for you. Take a deep breath and dive into the depths of absolute trust in GOD. Underneath are the everlasting arms!” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

Listen to my cry for help, my King and my God, for to you I pray. In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation. PSALM 5 : 2 – 3

Daily Devotional Video 7/1/2020 – PSALM 48 : 9, DEUTERONOMY 33 : 12, PSALM 37 : 4

“GOD IS LIFE AND LIGHT IN ABUNDANCE. As you spend time “soaking” in GOD’S Presence, you are energized and lightened. Through communing with GOD, you transfer your heavy burdens to HIS strong shoulders. By gazing at GOD, you gain HIS perspective on your life. This time alone with GOD is essential for unscrambling your thoughts and smoothing out the day before you. Be willing to fight for this precious time with The LORD. Opposition comes in many forms: your own desire to linger in bed; the evil one’s determination to distract you from GOD; the pressure of family, friends, and your own inner critic to spend your time more productively. As you grow in your desire to please GOD above all else, you gain strength to resist these opponents. Delight yourself in GOD, for GOD is the deepest Desire of your heart.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

Within your temple, O God, we meditate on your unfailing love. PSALM 48 : 9

About Benjamin he said: “Let the beloved of the LORD rest secure in him, for he shields him all day long, and the one the LORD loves rests between his shoulders.” DEUTERONOMY 33 : 12

Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart. PSALM 37 : 4

Prayer: Lord help me to push back the demands of the day and make time to spend with you each morning. This time alone with you is essential for many things. Fill me with your light and life and make clear to me the path up ahead. And sometimes, oftentimes, help me to just rest, rest in between your shoulders. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

2 Corinthians‬ ‭4:16‬ ‭

“That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day.” ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭4:16‬ ‭NLT‬‬

As we get older the mind says it’s easy too give up! But as Christians we should know these vessels are just temporary. The daily renewing of the spirit is what we should bank on! And the only way too renew is too stay in the word. Today I pray that all would start there day by at least spending 30 minutes in Gods word and see if the difference not only applies too your attitude but also your health and well being……Be Blessed and read.

Daily Devotional Video 6/30/2020 – JOHN 8 : 32, PHILIPPIANS 2 : 13, JOHN 14 : 6

“GOD IS THE TRUTH: the One who came to set you free. As the Holy Spirit controls your mind and actions more fully, you become free in GOD. You are increasingly released to become the one GOD created you to be. This is a work that GOD does in you as you yield to HIS Holy Spirit. GOD can do HIS best handiwork when you sit in the stillness of HIS Presence, focusing your entire being on HIM. Let The LORD’S thoughts burst freely upon your consciousness, stimulating abundant Life. The LORD is the Way and the Truth and the Life. As you follow GOD, HE leads you along paths of newness: ways you have never imagined. Don’t worry about what is on the road up ahead. GOD wants you to find your security in knowing The LORD, the One who died to set you free.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

“Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” JOHN 8 : 32

For it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose. PHILIPPIANS 2 : 13

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” JOHN 14 : 6

Prayer: Lord help me to yield to your Holy Spirit. Control my mind today and make every thought obedient to you. Help me to find my security in knowing you and guide me as I learn to sit in the stillness of your presense. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Hebrews‬ ‭4‬:‭15-16‬

This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most. (‭Hebrews‬ ‭4‬:‭15-16‬ NLT)

Now more than ever we need to understand Gods grace, all the sin that is going on in the world, all the bad things that are happening, don’t lose your faith that God is still there, he always has been. Today I pray that we would not give up on our faith, that we would understand that Jesus knows!!! And he is coming back……..Be Blessed and receive Gods great Grace

Daily Devotional Video 6/29/2020 – PSALM 5 : 30, PSALM 63 : 1, PHILIPPIANS 4 : 13

“AS YOU GET OUT OF BED in the morning, be aware of GOD’S Presence with you. You may not be thinking clearly yet, but GOD is. Your early morning thoughts tend to be anxious ones until you get connected with GOD. Invite GOD into your thoughts by whispering HIS Name. Suddenly your day brightens and feels more user-friendly. You cannot dread a day that is vibrant with GOD’S Presence. You gain confidence through knowing that GOD is with you— that you face nothing alone. Anxiety stems from asking the wrong question: “If such and such happens, can I handle it?” The true question is not whether you can cope with whatever happens, but whether you and GOD together can handle anything that occurs. It is this you-and-GOD-together factor that gives you confidence to face the day cheerfully.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation. PSALM 5 : 30

God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water. PSALM 63 : 1 (NKJV)

I can do everything through him who gives me strength. PHILIPPIANS 4 : 13

Personal Note: For the last few years part of my personal workday morning routine has been combining morning prayer & Bible Study with the morning coffee before the rest of my family wakes up and the day begins. This gets my mind and soul right for the day and makes it impossible to begin a day with stress – Give the LORD the 1st of your day and the rest of the day becomes easier.

Prayer: Lord you are my God, early each day I will seek you. My soul thirsts for you. My flesh longs for you in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water. Nothing on this earth can fill the void in me, it is only you that can fill me Jesus. Help me turn to you more this week. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

John‬ ‭15:13

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”
‭‭John‬ ‭15:13‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Do you have a friend that would lay their life for you? But the strange thing is we put our trust in them. Jesus calls us friends and he did in fact lay his life down for us, that we could live a life of freedom. Today’s prayer is that we would put our total trust in Lord Jesus he is our eternal BFF………Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

John‬ ‭19:16-18

“Finally Pilate handed him over to them to be crucified. So the soldiers took charge of Jesus. Carrying his own cross, he went out to the place of the Skull (which in Aramaic is called Golgotha). There they crucified him, and with him two others—one on each side and Jesus in the middle.”
‭‭John‬ ‭19:16-18‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Can you even imagine the King of Kings carried his own cross to his crucifixion. Jesus did nothing wrong in all his time on earth but was charged with so many false accusations. In our daily lives we also can be slandered, and how much more do we deserve it than Jesus? This is where Amazing Grace and unconditional love walked in. Today’s prayer is when times get rough we pick up our Cross and walk right to the arms of the savior, he’s always waiting with arms wide open………Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
