“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” Colossians 3:12-13 NIV
It’s so easy to judge something you don’t agree with, in the world today there are so many things that make you go hmmmmm. As Christians we need to look at ourselves and not look at others!!! Today’s prayer is that we would love, forgive, and pray for all!!!! If we see something we don’t agree with pray and turn to the Father for wisdom and understanding…….Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
EVERYTIME something thwarts your plans or desires, use that as a reminder to communicate with GOD. This practice has several benefits. The first is obvious: Talking withGOD blesses you and strengthens your relationship. Another benefit is that disappointments, instead of dragging you down, are transformed into opportunities for good. This transformation removes the sting from difficult circumstances, making it possible to be joyful in the midst of adversity. Begin by practicing this discipline in all the little disappointments of daily life. It is often these minor setbacks that draw you away from GOD’S Presence. When you reframe setbacks as opportunities, you find that you gain much more than you have lost. It is only after much training that you can accept major losses in this positive way. But it is possible to attain the perspective of the apostle Paul, who wrote: “Compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus, I consider everything I once treasured to be as insignificant as rubbish.”
Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. COLOSSIANS 4 : 2
But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ. PHILIPPIANS 3 : 7 – 8
Prayer: God whenever something thwarts my plans, help me to use that as a reminder to talk with you about it. That way it not only removed the sting, but keeps me at peace despite any circumstance. Thank you Jesus. My prince of peace. Amen.
And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani? that is, My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? And some of the bystanders, hearing it, said, This man is calling Elijah. And one of them at once ran and took a sponge, filled it with sour wine, and put it on a reed and gave it to him to drink. But the others said, Wait, let us see whether Elijah will come to save him. And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice and yielded up his spirit. Matthew 27:46-52
When Jesus hung on the cross he finished it all!!!!! He felt forsaken to have been the perfect man and to go through all he did. When it says the” veil was torn ” in the Old Testament the priest could not approach God and in death Jesus made a way for us to boldly approach God. As we go through this day meditate on all that was given for us on the Cross….. Forgiveness , redemption , mercy, grace, all things have been given to us in Christ Jesus……Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“GROW STRONG in the Light of GOD’S Presence. Your weakness does not repel GOD. On the contrary, it attracts GOD’S Power, which is always available to flow into a yielded heart. Do not condemn yourself for your constant need of help. Instead, come to GOD with your gaping neediness; let the Light of GOD’S Love fill you. A yielded heart does not whine or rebel when the going gets rough. It musters the courage to thank GOD even during hard times. Yielding yourself to GOD’S will is ultimately an act of trust. In quietness and trust is your strength.”
The LORD is gracious and righteous; our God is full of compassion. The LORD protects the simple hearted; when I was in great need, he saved me. Be at rest once more, O my soul, for the LORD has been good to you. PSALM 116 : 5 – 7
always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. EPHESIANS 5 : 20
This is what the Sovereign LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says: “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it.” ISAIAH 30 : 15
Prayer: God yield my heart to you and your will. I am in constant need of your help. Help me to recognize when the enemy is spewing lies and when it happens help me to quickly turn to you for rest once more, O my soul, for you Lord have been good to me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5 – 6 NKJV
In our daily lives the world controls our fears. The word of God states just Believe!!!!! So today trust God in all things, trust not what the word says and see God’s love for you…….Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED by the difficulty of keeping your focus on GOD. GOD knows that your heart’s desire is to be aware of HIS Presence continually. This is a lofty goal; you aim toward it but never fully achieve it in this life. Don’t let feelings of failure weigh you down. Instead, try to see yourself as GOD sees you. First of all, The LORD is delighted by your deep desire to walk closely with HIM through your life. GOD is pleased each time you initiate communication with HIM. In addition, GOD notices the progress you have made since you first resolved to live in HIS Presence. When you realize that your mind has wandered away from GOD, don’t be alarmed or surprised. You live in a world that has been rigged to distract you. Each time you plow your way through the massive distractions to communicate with GOD, you achieve a victory. Rejoice in these tiny triumphs, and they will increasingly light up your days.”
Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. ROMANS 8 : 33 – 34
Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was without sin. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. HEBREWS 4 : 14 – 16
Prayer: God thank you for your abundant grace and mercy. You promise your mercies are new every morning. Thank you that your word is less about “don’t sin” and more about “come walk with me, spend time with me, and I’ll help you with the rest.” Thank you Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth. For, There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message God gave to the world at just the right time. 1 Timothy 2:1-6 NLT
Are you praying for someone you love? Are you praying for a casual friend? Are you praying for someone with a different belief other than Jesus? Are you praying for the leaders of the world? All of these should be on the prayer list. Paul was in prison in Rome yet he says pray for all because there is one God for all. Today I pray that we would all put aside any thought that someone does not need prayer, don’t just pray for friends and loved ones, pray for the non believer and the nations………Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today. Matthew 6:34 NLT
Worry,Worry,Worry, sound familiar? Do you worry about everything? Are you always concerned about every situation? God’s promise is to equip us with Grace for all situations, in our weakness that is where God shows up the strongest. Today I pray that we would put all our trust in God and see through the worry to the solution Jesus!!!! The Rock……Be Blessed

“What is the price of two sparrows—one copper coin? But not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it. And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows.” Matthew 10:29-31 NLT
Do you ever feel unworthy? Ever wonder if you’re good enough? Well you can be assured by man’s standards you will probably never be good enough, but by God Almighty’s standard you are perfect. Today’s prayer is that we would live to please God !! Live by Gods example….. Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“LINGER IN GOD’S PRESENCE A WHILE. Rein in your impulses to plunge into the day’s activities. Beginning your day alone with GOD is essential preparation for success. A great athlete takes time to prepare himself mentally for the feat ahead of him before he moves a muscle. Similarly, your time of being still in GOD’S Presence equips you for the day ahead of you. Only GOD knows what will happen to you on this day. HE has arranged the events you will encounter as you go along your way. If you are not adequately equipped for the journey, you will grow weary and lose heart. Relax with GOD while HE readies you for action.”
For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. EPHESIANS 2 : 10
Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. HEBREWS 12 : 3
Prayer: Lord help me to linger in your presence for a while. Reining in my impulse to plunge into my to do list. Help me to begin my day alone with you, letting you fill me with your peace and joy and strength to do your will today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
