“The end of a thing is better than its beginning; The patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.” Ecclesiastes 7:8 NKJV
Have you ever noticed how most things finish better than they start if we have patience? Do you ever get the I want it now attitude? Well I know I have fallen into this trap and made a mess of many things. This scripture paints a clear picture that good things come to those who wait. The best we have to look forward to is the Lord’s return. Today’s prayer is that we would all pray for patience and in the process be humble…….Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“LET THE DEW OF GOD’S PRESENCE refresh your mind and heart. So many, many things vie for your attention in this complex world of instant communication. The world has changed enormously since The LORD first gave the command to be still and know that HE IS God. However, this timeless truth is essential for the well-being of your soul. As dew refreshes grass and flowers during the stillness of the night, so GOD’S Presence revitalizes you as you sit quietly with HIM. A refreshed, revitalized mind is able to sort out what is important and what is not. In its natural condition, your mind easily gets stuck on trivial matters. Like the spinning wheels of a car trapped in mud, the cogs of your brain spin impotently when you focus on a trivial thing. As soon as you start communicating with GOD about the matter, your thoughts gain traction and you can move on to more important things. Communicate with GOD continually, and The LORD will put HIS thoughts into your mind.”
“Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” PSALM 46 : 10
She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said. But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!” “Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.” LUKE 10 : 39 – 42
For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints. 1 CORINTHIANS 14 : 33 (NKJV)
Prayer: Lord, your presence revitalizes me as I spend time with you. Help me to communicate with you continually, allowing your thoughts to fill my mind. Use me to be a blessing to others today, for your glory. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Such things were written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us. And the Scriptures give us hope and encouragement as we wait patiently for God’s promises to be fulfilled. Romans 15:4 NLT
What are you waiting for? What are you hoping for? This scripture tells us that the Bible is to teach us and give us hope in God’s promise. The world today is in a condition that the Bible tells us it would be, a MESS!!!! Today’s prayer is that we would stand on God’s promise that as believers all this is temporary and our eternal hope as believers is forever…….Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“LIVING IN DEPENDENCE ON GOD is a glorious adventure. Most people scurry around busily, trying to accomplish things through their own strength and ability. Some succeed enormously; others fail miserably. But both groups miss what life is meant to be: living and working in collaboration with The LORD. When you depend on The LORD continually, your whole perspective changes. You see miracles happening all around, while others see only natural occurrences and “coincidences.” You begin each day with joyful expectation, watching to see what GOD will do. You accept weakness as a gift from GOD, knowing that HIS Power plugs in most readily to consecrated weakness. You keep your plans tentative, knowing that GOD’S plans are far superior. You consciously live, move, and have your being in The LORD, desiring that GOD lives in you. GOD in you, and you in GOD. This is the intimate adventure The LORD offers you.”
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 CORINTHIANS 12 : 9 – 10
“‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’” ACTS 17 : 28
So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. COLOSSIANS 2 : 6 – 7
On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. JOHN 14 : 20
Prayer: Lord show me how to live in complete dependence on you – living and working in collaboration with you, the way life was intended. Oh what an adventure you have in store when I rely on you. Thank you Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
““Alas, Sovereign Lord,” I said, “I do not know how to speak; I am too young.” But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am too young.’ You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord.” Jeremiah 1:6-8 NIV
“God does not call the qualified, He qualifies the called” ever felt like Jeremiah? Scared? Not worthy? Well God has called you to a certain ministry, whether it’s Pastor, missions, or just to be an encourager. Today’s prayer is that you would trust God and just step into your calling He is right there by your side……Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“SEEK GOD with your whole being. GOD desires to be found by you, and HE orchestrates the events of your life with that purpose in mind. When things go well and you are blessed, you can feel GOD smiling on you. When you encounter rough patches along your life-journey, trust that GOD’S Light is still shining upon you. The LORD’s reasons for allowing these adversities may be shrouded in mystery, but HIS continual Presence with you is an absolute promise. Seek GOD in good times; seek GOD in hard times. You will find The LORD watching over you all the time.”
But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul. DEUTERONOMY 4 : 29
Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. HEBREWS 10 : 23
The LORD watches over all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy. PSALM 145 : 20
Prayer: God help me to seek you with my whole being and to thank you in good times and tough times also. Knowing you promise to use all things for the good of those who love you. Align my heart to yours today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
So if you are suffering in a manner that pleases God, keep on doing what is right, and trust your lives to the God who created you, for he will never fail you. 1 Peter 4:19 NLT
Sometimes we mistake suffering for being humbled, God is for us not against us! We sometimes may want something that we think is perfect for us but God sees it differently, he has another plan! That is not suffering, it may be the best thing for us. Today I pray that we would seek God in all of our decisions and always trust he knows best……Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“GROW STRONG IN YOUR WEAKNESS. Some of GOD’S children HE has gifted with abundant strength and stamina. Others, like you, have received the humble gift of frailty. Your fragility is not a punishment, nor does it indicate lack of faith. On the contrary, weak ones like you must live by faith, depending on GOD to get you through the day. The LORD is developing your ability to trust HIM, to lean on HIM, rather than on your understanding. Your natural preference is to plan out your day, knowing what will happen when. GOD’S preference is for you to depend on HIM continually, trusting GOD to guide you and strengthen you as needed. This is how you grow strong in your weakness.”
Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.” JAMES 4 : 13 – 15
Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. PROVERBS 3 : 5 (AMP)
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. ISAIAH 40 : 28 – 31
Prayer: You Lord are the everlasting God. You will never grow tired or lose strength. My hope is in you Lord, the creator of the ends of the earth. Renew my strength and help me to do your will and be a blessing to others today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
“Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago.” Isaiah 25:1 NIV
Are you living the life you always thought you would? Have you come out of a life of bondage? I believe we all have messed up God’s perfect will for our lives, the good news there is hope for all, his name is Jesus!!!!! Today’s prayer is that we would all embrace Gods faithfulness and praise his name in all situations…… Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“THERE IS NO PLACE so desolate that you cannot find GOD there. When Hagar fled from her mistress, Sarah, into the wilderness, she thought she was utterly alone and forsaken. But Hagar encountered GOD in that desolate place. There she addressed GOD as the Living One who sees me. Through that encounter with GOD’S Presence, she gained courage to return to her mistress. No set of circumstances could ever isolate you from GOD’S loving Presence. Not only does The LORD see you always; HE sees you as a redeemed saint, gloriously radiant in HIS righteousness. That is why GOD takes great delight in you and rejoices over you with singing!”
The angel of the LORD found her by a spring of water in the wilderness, the spring on the way to Shur. And he said, Hagar, servant of Sarai, where have you come from and where are you going? She said, I am fleeing from my mistress Sarai.
The angel of the LORD said to her, Return to your mistress and submit to her. The angel of the LORD also said to her, I will surely multiply your offspring so that they cannot be numbered for multitude.
And the angel of the LORD said to her, Behold, you are pregnant and shall bear a son.You shall call his name Ishmael, because the LORD has listened to your affliction.
He shall be a wild donkey of a man, his hand against everyone and everyone’s hand against him, and he shall dwell over against all his kinsmen.
So she called the name of the LORD who spoke to her, You are a God of seeing, for she said, Truly here I have seen him who looks after me. GENESIS 16 : 7 – 13
Prayer: God thank you for not only seeing me, but seeing me as righteous, right with God, not because of anything I have done but because of Jesus. Thank you for always being for me and with me no matter what. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
