“All a person’s ways seem pure to them, but motives are weighed by the Lord.” Proverbs 16:2 NIV
Do you feel like you’re always doing the right thing? Do you feel like you are living a life that pleases God? This Proverb tells us that we may feel we are doing the right things in our heart but God sees all. Today’s prayer is we would give our lives a once over and ask God to help us correct the areas in that which we fall short……Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“WORSHIP GOD in the beauty of holiness. GOD created beauty to declare the existence of HIS holy Being. A magnificent rose, a hauntingly glorious sunset, oceanic splendor— all these things were meant to proclaim GOD’S Presence in the world. Most people rush past these proclamations without giving them a second thought. Some people use beauty, especially feminine loveliness, to sell their products. How precious are GOD’S children who are awed by nature’s beauty; this opens them up to GOD’S holy Presence. Even before you knew GOD personally, you responded to HIS creation with wonder. This is a gift, and it carries responsibility with it. Declare GOD’S glorious Being to the world. The whole earth is full of GOD’S radiant beauty—GOD’S Glory!”
Give unto the LORD the glory due to His name; Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. PSALM 29 : 2 (NKJV)
And they were calling to one another: “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.” ISAIAH 6 : 3
Prayer: God help me to slow down to enjoy the beauty in nature all around me each day proclaiming your presence and tenderness and love to the world. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:39 NLT
Do you ever feel like you’re just not loved? Like you’re all alone in the world? Well you’re not! At all times you have the love of God with you. Today’s prayer is that when we feel down that we look to the cross and the never ending love that was displayed on it…..Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“COME TO GOD CONTINUALLY. GOD is meant to be the Center of your consciousness, the Anchor of your soul. Your mind will wander from The LORD, but the question is how far you allow it to wander. An anchor on a short rope lets a boat drift only slightly before the taut line tugs the boat back toward the center. Similarly, as you drift away from The LORD, HIS Holy Spirit within you gives a tug, prompting you to return to GOD. As you become increasingly attuned to GOD’S Presence, the length of rope on your soul’s Anchor is shortened. You wander only a short distance before feeling that inner tug— telling you to return to your true Center in GOD.”
We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain. HEBREWS 6 : 19
And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming. 1 JOHN 2 : 28
Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’” MATTHEW 22 : 37
Personal Note: As my personal relationship with The LORD has grown over the last several years through prayer and Bible study it has gotten easier and easier to feel “the tug of that line” in my daily life. One of the ways is that during my Bible study time in the morning sometimes my mind starts to wander to the day’s worldly concerns and it has become easier to “feel that tug” & quicker to ask GOD to help me clear my mind and re-focus on the lesson before me.
Prayer: God help me to be attuned to the gentle tug of The Holy Spirit when I drift from you. Shorten the rope I create between you and I so I can remain in you and you in me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
“But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,” Matthew 5:44 NKJV
This is a hard one to swallow for most! Love your enemies? Pray for those who hate you? Ouch!!!!! These words came from the Father who made all of us in his image and could not be more true. Today’s prayer is that we would meditate on this scripture and pray for all you know, by showing love towards those who hate you may just be the witness they need to find Jesus……..Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“LET GOD’S LOVE seep into the inner recesses of your being. Do not close off any part of yourself from GOD. The LORD knows you inside and out, so do not try to present a “cleaned-up” self to HIM. Wounds that you shut away from the Light of GOD’S Love will fester and become wormy. Secret sins that you “hide” from GOD can split off and develop lives of their own, controlling you without your realizing it. Open yourself fully to The LORD’S transforming Presence. Let GOD’S brilliant Love-Light search out and destroy hidden fears. This process requires time alone with GOD, as GOD’S Love soaks into your innermost being. Enjoy The LORD’S perfect Love, which expels every trace of fear.”
O LORD, you have searched me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O LORD. Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. PSALM 139 : 1 – 4 & 23 – 24
There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. 1 JOHN 4 : 18
Prayer: Lord allow your love to seep into the innermost recesses of my being, and may your love overflow onto those around me today. Realign my desires with your character. Make me eager to do the things that please you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
“HOPE is a golden cord connecting you to heaven. This cord helps you hold your head up high, even when multiple trials are buffeting you. GOD never leaves your side, and GOD never lets go of your hand. But without the cord of hope, your head may slump and your feet may shuffle as you journey uphill with The LORD. Hope lifts your perspective from your weary feet to the glorious view you can see from the high road. You are reminded that the road you are traveling together is ultimately a highway to heaven. When you consider this radiant destination, the roughness or smoothness of the road ahead becomes much less significant. GOD is training you to hold in your heart a dual focus: GOD’S continual Presence and the hope of heaven.”
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. ROMANS 12 : 12
But since we belong to the day, let us be self-controlled, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet. 1 THESSALONIANS 5 : 8
God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope offered to us may be greatly encouraged. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain. HEBREWS 6 : 18 – 19
Prayer: Lord, thank you that no matter what happens in this life, for those who have accepted Jesus in their heart, we win in the end. Our prize is an eternity in Heaven with you Lord. No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived the things God has prepared for those who love him. Amen.
“It’s not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What’s important is that God makes the seed grow.” 1 Corinthians 3:7 NLT
Patience is a difficult trait!!! We sometimes feel that our seed is bad, or our water is not enough, The important part is that we are always planting and watering! But the most important part is we wait for God’s timing to bring the crop. Today’s prayer is that we would never give up on anybody and continue to plant and water the seed and let God almighty do what he does in his time……..Be Blessed

“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” Proverbs 27:17 NIV
Are you encouraging your brothers and sisters in Christ or Discouraging them? One of the biggest attributes of the Church is encouragement. When a brother or sister needs help, direction, discernment, or just encouragement make sure to be there for them. Today’s prayer is that we would keep each other sharp and focused on the advancement of God’s kingdom…….Be Blessed

“RELAX AND LET GOD LEAD YOU through this day. GOD has everything under control: HIS control. You tend to peer anxiously into the day that is before you, trying to figure out what to do, and when. Meanwhile, the phone or the doorbell rings, and you have to reshuffle your plans. All that planning ties you up in knots and distracts you from GOD. Attentiveness to The LORD is not only for your quiet time, but for all your time. As you look to GOD, HE shows you what to do now and next. Vast quantities of time and energy are wasted in obsessive planning. When you let GOD direct your steps, you are set free to enjoy GOD and to find what The LORD has prepared for you this day.”
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you. PSALM 32 : 8
Direct me in the path of your commands, for there I find delight. PSALM 119 : 35
Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul. PSALM 143 : 8
Prayer: God thank you for reminding me to relax and let you lead me through this day, you are in control. Help me to fix my eyes on you, for I have put my trust in you alone. Lead me and guide me today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
