making the word of God of no effect through your tradition which you have handed down. And many such things you do.” (Mark 7:13 NKJV)
Religious traditions are a killer!!!! The word of God is so clear on all that God wants, does, has, and has done for us. Today read the word with spiritual eyes and let it speak to you, never take just one part of the word to build a tradition. Today I pray that all of us would understand just what Jesus did for us on the cross……..be blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“TRUST GOD AND REFUSE TO WORRY, for The LORD is your Strength and Song. You are feeling wobbly this morning, looking at difficult times looming ahead, measuring them against your own strength. However, they are not today’s tasks—or even tomorrow’s. So leave them in the future and come home to the present, where you will find The LORD waiting for you. Since GOD is your Strength, HE can empower you to handle each task as it comes. Because GOD is your Song, HE can give you Joy as you work alongside HIM. Keep bringing your mind back to the present moment. Among all GOD’S creatures, only humans can anticipate future events. This ability is a blessing, but it becomes a curse whenever it is misused. If you use your magnificent mind to worry about tomorrow, you cloak yourself in dark unbelief. However, when the hope of heaven fills your thoughts, the Light of GOD’S Presence envelops you. Though heaven is future, it is also present tense. As you walk in the Light with The LORD, you have one foot on earth and one foot in heaven.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young
The LORD is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him. EXODUS 15 : 2
We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. 2 CORINTHIANS 10 : 5
Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. HEBREWS 10 : 23
Prayer: Lord help me to put the helmet of salvation on, protecting my thoughts and taking every thought captive that doesn’t align with You and Your word and make it obedient to Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit inside me. Help me not to worry about tomorrow and enjoy the presents and opportunities you’ve given me in the present. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
“So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.” 1 Corinthians 15:58 NLT
Do you ever feel like your work for the Lord is all for nothing? Do you feel like you’re not reaching anyone? This scripture tells us that all of our witness is and will reach the people. We will probably never know what impact we may have had on someone, but the Lord knows. Today’s prayer is that we would never give up telling people what Jesus has done in our life and will do in there’s ……. Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“WAIT QUIETLY IN GOD’S PRESENCE while HIS thoughts form silently in the depths of your being. Do not try to rush this process, because hurry keeps your heart earthbound. GOD is the Creator of the entire universe, yet GOD chooses to make HIS humble home in your heart. It is there where you know THE LORD most intimately; it is there where The LORD speaks to you in holy whispers. Ask GOD’S Holy Spirit to quiet your mind so that you can hear GOD’S still, small voice within you. The LORD is speaking to you continually: words of Life . . . Peace . . . Love. Tune your heart to receive these messages of abundant blessing. Lay your requests before The LORD and wait in expectation.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young
And after the earthquake a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice. 1 KINGS 19 : 12 (NKJV)
In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation. PSALM 5 : 3
Prayer: God help me to wait quietly and patiently in your presence while your thoughts form silently in the depths of my being. Tune my heart to hear all you have for me today. Then help me to put my faith into action and obey. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure. Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. (II Corinthians 12:7-9 NKJV)
Do you have a thorn in your side? Or like many a whole rose bush, when trials come upon us it’s then when we go to God in prayer, Paul pleaded with The Lord to remove this from him but instead God was saying were is you faith? Don’t you understand I will deliver you from your problem?. We tend to try to fix all of our problems instead of trusting that God has us in his hand, today rejoice when a problem comes your way, because The Lord’s promise is he will handle it!!!! His grace will always be sufficient ………Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
This I declare about the LORD: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him. (Psalms 91:2 NLT)
Where is your trust? Who or what do you trust in? The world will leave you hopeless, But with God all things are possible. Today’s prayer is that your trust and refuge is found in the Lord, not in temporary things of this world………Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“SEEK TO PLEASE GOD above all else. Let that goal be your focal point as you go through this day. Such a mind-set will protect you from scattering your energy to the winds. The free will GOD bestowed on you comes with awesome responsibility. Each day presents you with choice after choice. Many of these decisions you ignore and thus make by default. Without a focal point to guide you, you can easily lose your way. That’s why it is so important to stay in communication with GOD, living in thankful awareness of HIS Presence. You inhabit a fallen, disjointed world, where things are constantly unraveling around the edges. Only a vibrant relationship with GOD can keep you from coming unraveled too.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young
“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” MATTHEW 6 : 33
“The one who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, for I always do what pleases him.” JOHN 8 : 29
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. COLOSSIANS 3 : 23 – 24
Prayer: Lord I want to seek to please you above all else. Protect me from scattering my energy to the wind. Help me to do everything as if working for you. To be a spouse of excellence, a parent of excellence, and a friend of excellence with your help. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
“Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey, to be ready for every good work, to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men. For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another. But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,” Titus 3:1-5 NKJV
I see so much hate on social media from believers and non believers!!! The fact is we all have our opinions but should never get tangled up in that hate web that is spun to catch all the hate of the world. Today’s prayer is that we as believers would have humility towards all the things we see and not get right in the middle of it!!!!! Let Go, Let God……Be Blessed
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new
“YOU WILL NOT FIND GOD’S PEACE by engaging in excessive planning: attempting to control what will happen to you in the future. That is a commonly practiced form of unbelief. When your mind spins with multiple plans, Peace may sometimes seem to be within your grasp; yet it always eludes you. Just when you think you have prepared for all possibilities, something unexpected pops up and throws things into confusion. GOD did not design the human mind to figure out the future. That is beyond your capability. GOD crafted your mind for continual communication with HIM. Bring GOD all your needs, your hopes and fears. Commit everything into GOD’S care. Turn from the path of planning to the path of Peace.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young
Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 1 PETER 5 : 6 – 7
In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps. PROVERBS 16 : 9
Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. PSALM 37 : 5 (NKJV)
Prayer: Lord I bring you all my needs, my hopes, and my fears. I lay them at your feet. Help me not to hold onto anything tighter than I hold onto you. I can always count on your plans for they are always for my good. And when I don’t understand and life is hard, I trust you are weaving a grand story together, using everything for my good and the good of others. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
“Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?” Matthew 6:27 NIV
Do you worry about everything? Have you ever noticed by worrying that nothing changes? Trusting in a circumstance leads to misery, trusting in God leads to total peace. Today’s prayer is that when difficult circumstances arise we would hand it over to God and eliminate worry and trust in God……..Be Blessed
