God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. Psalms 46:1 NLT
When the going gets tough, God gets going. Trials come and go, some days seem to be filled with them and others do not. God is faithful through every situation are you? Today I pray that we would trust in the Lord in good times and bad, when things are great praise the Lord, when trials are at the worst, praise the Lord for the help that’s coming…….Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“GOD IS WITH YOU IN ALL THAT YOU DO, even in the most menial task. GOD is always aware of you, concerned with every detail of your life. Nothing escapes The LORD’S notice-—not even the number of hairs on your head. However, your awareness of GOD’S Presence falters and flickers; as a result, your life experience feels fragmented. When your focus is broad enough to include GOD in your thoughts, you feel safe and complete. When your perception narrows so that problems or details fill your consciousness, you feel empty and incomplete. Learn to look steadily at GOD in all your moments and all your circumstances. Though the world is unstable and in flux, you can experience continuity through your uninterrupted awareness of Christ The LORD’S Presence. Fix your gaze on what is unseen, even as the visible world parades before your eyes.”
“Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” MATTHEW 10 : 29 – 31
By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger; he persevered because he saw him who is invisible. HEBREWS 11 : 27
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 CORINTHIANS 4 : 18
Prayer: God thank you for caring about every detail of my life and being with me every second of every day. Help me to focus more on you and others this Christmas season. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
“Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” James 4:8 NKJV
To draw near to God is to seek him in all you do. God draws near to those who seek to be more like his son in all they do. Being a double minded person is to say one thing and do another, who are you? Today’s prayer is that we would seek God’s ways in all we do, say, and are……..Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:14
Do you find yourself striving for greatness? And to what measure are you striving for? God has called us to live a life that is pleasing to him, pressing forward to the goal of bringing heaven to earth. Today’s prayer is that we would strive for greatness in God’s eyes not the worlds, that we would be seeking approval from God not man. In Jesus name be blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“STAY EVER SO CLOSE TO GOD, and you will not deviate from the path GOD has prepared for you. This is the most efficient way to stay on track; it is also the most enjoyable way. Men tend to multiply duties in their observance of religion. This practice enables them to give GOD money, time, and work without yielding up to The LORD what HE desires the most—their hearts. Rules can be observed mechanically. Once they become habitual, they can be followed with minimal effort and almost no thought. These habit-forming rules provide a false sense of security, lulling the soul into a comatose condition. What GOD searches for in HIS children is an awakened soul that thrills to the Joy of HIS Presence! GOD created mankind to glorify HIM and enjoy HIM forever. The LORD provides the Joy; your part is to glorify CHRIST The LORD by living close to HIM.”
Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. DEUTERONOMY 6 : 5
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men. COLOSSIANS 3 : 23
You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. PSALM 16 : 11
Prayer: Lord help me to have an awakened soul that gets excited about being in your presence. This advent season help me to think about Christmas being the start of God’s redemptive plan to get his children back by sending Jesus. Thank you Jesus for your willingness to come down from Heaven for me. In your name I pray. Amen.
But he’s already made it plain how to live, what to do, what GOD is looking for in men and women. It’s quite simple: Do what is fair and just to your neighbor, be compassionate and loyal in your love, And don’t take yourself too seriously— take God seriously. Micah 6:8 MSG
I love the way this translation explains it, basically be nice to all and put God first in everything!!!!! The Bible has laid out instructions for our lives, it is so easy to get tangled up in the things of the world, but when God is first it becomes clear on how to handle circumstances. Today I pray that it would be this simple to translate for us – treat all equally, love with all you have, don’t be so hard on yourself, and most important PUT GOD FIRST…….Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known. 1 Corinthians 13:12 ESV
Do you have an identity crisis? Are you searching for who you truly are? Do you see a reflection of the things of Jesus or the world? This scripture explains that we see a dim image, as Christians we are the righteousness of Jesus, we may not appear that way in the natural but spiritually we are. Today I pray that we would all know our identity, that one day we will stand face to face with our Lord and truly see who we are…..Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“DO NOT BE SURPRISED by the fiery attacks on your mind. When you struggle to find GOD and to live in GOD’S Peace, don’t let discouragement set in. You are engaged in massive warfare, spiritually speaking. The evil one abhors your closeness to GOD, and his demonic underlings are determined to destroy our intimacy. When you find yourself in the thick of battle, call upon The LORD’S Name: “Jesus, help me!” At that instant, the battle becomes The LORD’S; your role is simply to trust GOD as HE fights for you. The LORD’S Name, properly used, has unlimited Power to bless and protect. At the end of time, every knee will bow (in heaven, on earth, and under the earth), when GOD’S Name is proclaimed. People who have used “Jesus” as a shoddy swear word will fall down in terror on that awesome day. But all those who have drawn near The LORD through trustingly uttering HIS Name will be filled with inexpressible and glorious Joy. This is your great hope, as you await CHRIST The LORD’S return.”
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. EPHESIANS 6 : 12
“All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the LORD saves; for the battle is the LORD’S, and he will give all of you into our hands.” 1 SAMUEL 17 : 47
Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth. PHILIPPIANS 2 : 9 – 10
Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls. 1 PETER 1 : 8 – 9
Prayer: Lord today I put on my armor you’ve provided. The belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the helmet of salvation, shoes fitted with the gospel of peace, my shield of faith to block the flaming arrows of the enemy, and my sword which is the word of God. Now I’m ready Lord. Let’s go. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
“Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.” Psalm 62:5-6
Circumstances can consume your day and even your life. The key to peace is where it comes from. The Lord is the only true peace we have, to trust and depend on him is key. Today’s prayer is that our foundation would be the Lord! Don’t look at the problem, look through the problem the solution is on the other side waiting, Jesus the author and finisher of our faith…..Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“JESUS CHRIST IS THE PRINCE OF PEACE. As CHRIST said to HIS disciples, GOD says also to you: Peace be with you. Since GOD is your constant Companion, GOD’S Peace is steadfastly with you. When you keep your focus on The LORD, you experience both HIS Presence and HIS Peace. Worship GOD as King of kings, Lord of lords, and Prince of Peace. You need The LORD’S Peace each moment to accomplish HIS purposes in your life. Sometimes you are tempted to take shortcuts, in order to reach your goal as quickly as possible. But if the shortcut requires turning your back on GOD’S peaceful Presence, you must choose the longer route. Walk with GOD along paths of Peace; enjoy the journey in HIS Presence.”
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. ISAIAH 9 : 6
On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord. Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” JOHN 20 : 19 – 21
Show me Your ways, O LORD; Teach me Your paths. PSALM 25 : 4 (NKJV)
Prayer: Jesus you are the prince of peace. Help me to keep my focus on you so I can experience both your presence and your peace. I need your peace to accomplish your purposes for my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
