“Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends. (Revelation 3:20 NLT)
Do you hear that knock? Are you always ready for fellowship with Jesus? Or are we so wrapped up in our daily lives that we ignore that knock? Today’s prayer is that at all times we are taking the time to fellowship with the Lord, turn off the phone, tv, etc and fellowship with the Lord it’s the best part of the day……..Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“GOD SPEAKS TO YOU from the depths of eternity. Before the world was formed, GOD was there! You hear GOD in the depths of your being, where HE has taken up residence. GOD is Christ in you, the hope of Glory. JESUS CHRIST, your Lord and Savior, is alive within you. Learn to tune in to The LORD’S living Presence by seeking HIM in silence. As you celebrate the wonder of JESUS CHRIST’S birth in Bethlehem, celebrate also your rebirth into eternal life. This everlasting gift was the sole purpose of CHRIST’S entering your sin-stained world. Receive The LORD’S gift with awe and humility. Take time to explore the vast dimensions of CHRIST’S Love. Allow thankfulness to flow freely from your heart in response to GOD’S glorious gift. Let The LORD’S Peace rule in your heart, and be thankful.” para-phrased – Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young
Before the mountains were brought forth or ever You had formed and given birth to the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting You are God. PSALM 90 : 2 (AMP)
To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. COLOSSIANS 1 : 27
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. COLOSSIANS 3 : 15
Prayer: Lord on this Christmas eve help me to slow down and allow thankfulness to flow freely from my heart in response to your glorious gift. I receive your gift of salvation with awe and humility. To Jesus be all the glory forever and ever. Amen.
“GOD IS KING OF KINGS and Lord of lords, dwelling in dazzlingly bright Light! GOD is also your Shepherd, Companion, and Friend—the One who never lets go of your hand. Worship The LORD in HIS holy Majesty; come close to GOD, and rest in HIS Presence. You need CHRIST, THE LORD both as God and as Man. Only JESUS CHRIST, The LORD’S Incarnation on that first, long-ago Christmas could fulfill your neediness. Since CHRIST, The LORD went to such extreme measures to save you from your sins, you can be assured that CHRIST, The LORD will graciously give you all you need. Nurture well your trust in GOD as Savior, Lord, and Friend. GOD has held back nothing in HIS provision for you. GOD have even deigned to live within you! Rejoice in all that The LORD has done for you, and GOD’S Light will shine through you into the world.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young
. . . which God will bring about in his own time—God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen. 1 TIMOTHY 6 : 15 – 16
Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker; for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care. PSALM 95 : 6 – 7
He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all— how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? ROMANS 8 : 32
And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. 2 PETER 1 : 19
Prayer: Lord thank you for being my Shepherd, Companion, and Friend, the one who never let’s go of my hand. The one who went to extreme measures to save me. My life is not my own. I give it to you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
When they saw the star, they were filled with joy! They entered the house and saw the child with his mother, Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasure chests and gave him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Matthew 2:10-11
From his first hours Jesus was receiving gifts, the greatest gift we can give him is our worship, give him ourselves completely. Today I pray on the eve of our saviors birth that we give him our complete worship and thank him for all he has done in our lives…….Be Blessed
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new
There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in death. (Proverbs 14:12 NLT)
What path are you following? Is the path you’re following in line with Gods word? Today I pray that we would all take a long look at the life we are living and ask God to fix any areas that are displeasing to him…….Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“COME TO GOD, and rest in The LORD’S Presence. As you ponder the majestic mystery of the Incarnation, relax in Christ, The LORD’S everlasting arms. JESUS CHRIST is the only Person who was ever sired by the Holy Spirit. This is beyond your understanding. Instead of trying to comprehend Christ The LORD’S Incarnation intellectually, learn from the example of the wise men. They followed the leading of a spectacular star, then fell down in humble worship when they found JESUS CHRIST, THE LORD. Praise and worship are the best responses to the wonder of THE LORD’S Being. Sing praises to CHRIST’S holy Name. Gaze at JESUS in silent adoration. Look for a star of guidance in your own life, and be willing to follow wherever The LORD leads. CHRIST, The LORD is the Light from on high that dawns upon you, to guide your feet into the way of Peace.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young
The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.” LUKE 1 : 35
The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. JOHN 1 : 14
When they heard the king, they departed; and behold, the star which they had seen in the East went before them, till it came and stood over where the young Child was. When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy. And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh. MATTHEW 2 : 9 – 11 (NKJV)
Prayer: Lord thank you that the Advent season is a bright sign pointing to Jesus. He is Emmanuel, God with us, so we never have to be alone or afraid. He is our Wonderful Counselor, eager to guide, comfort, and heal us. He is our Everlasting Father who loves us more deeply than we can imagine and longs to be near to us. And he is our I AM. In our greatest brokenness, and darkness he is our way, our truth, and our life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth. For, There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message God gave to the world at just the right time. 1 Timothy 2:1-6 NLT
Are you praying for someone you love? Are you praying for a casual friend? Are you praying for someone with a different belief other than Jesus? Are you praying for the leaders of the world? All of these should be on the prayer list. Paul was in prison in Rome yet he says pray for all because there is one God for all. Today I pray that we would all put aside any thought that someone does not need prayer, don’t just pray for friends and loved ones, pray for the non believer and the nations………Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“GOD’S PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE is unfolding before you. Sometimes the road you are traveling seems blocked, or it opens up so painfully slowly that you must hold yourself back. Then, when time is right, the way before you suddenly clears—through no effort of your own. What you have longed for and worked for GOD presents to you freely, as pure gift. You feel awed by the ease with which GOD operates in the world, and you glimpse GOD’S Power and GOD’S Glory. Do not fear your weakness, for it is the stage on which GOD’S Power and Glory perform most brilliantly. As you persevere along the path GOD has prepared for you, depending on HIS strength to sustain you, expect to see miracles—and you will. Miracles are not always visible to the naked eye, but those who live by faith can see them clearly. Living by faith, rather than sight, enables you to see GOD’S Glory.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young
I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. PSALM 63 : 2
We live by faith, not by sight. 2 CORINTHIANS 5 : 7
Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?” JOHN 11 : 40
Prayer: Lord help me to live anticipating your miracles. To live by faith persevering along the path you have me prepared for me and expecting you to use everything for my good. Thank you for the Advent season which is a bright star pointing to you Jesus. You are all I need. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
“May the Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding and expression of the love of God and the patient endurance that comes from Christ.” 2 Thessalonians 3:5 NLT
Patience’s and love are two very difficult things! To be patient is too understand that we all get there in our own time and own way, too truly love is to extend it too all!!! Not just some. Today’s prayer is that we would do our best too show the love and patience that Christ had for us! Be Blessed and pray for these traits
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.” Romans 8:4 NASB
This scripture is very clear if your eyes are open! The law is not the speed limit or the don’t steal gum from the store!!! It’s God’s law of love. When we walk in the flesh it means to love the life we lived before Jesus, but to walk in the spirit is to know what’s wrong and right in the eyes of God and follow it. Today’s prayer is be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and walk upright in the eyes of God…….Be Blessed
