Psalm‬ ‭84:10‬

“Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭84:10‬ ‭

As a believer the personal relationship with the Lord is priceless. This Psalm speaks of spending one day with the Lord than a thousand elsewhere. When you have a personal relationship with Jesus and don’t spend time with him in fellowship, prayer would be like not talking to your husband or wife while they’re sitting right next to you, sooner or later the question will come up ” what’s wrong”. Today’s prayer is that we would take every opportunity to have lines of communication with Jesus for he is there waiting…….Be blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17

WHEN THINGS SEEM to be going all wrong, stop and affirm your trust in GOD. – JOB 13 : 15, PSALM 18 : 33, Habakkuk 3:17-19

“WHEN THINGS SEEM to be going all wrong, stop and affirm your trust in GOD. Calmly bring these matters to GOD, and leave them in The LORD’S capable hands. Then, simply do the next thing. Stay in touch with GOD through thankful, trusting prayers, resting in HIS sovereign control. Rejoice in The LORD — exult in the God of your salvation! As you trust in GOD, HE makes your feet like the feet of a deer. GOD enables you to walk and make progress upon your high places of trouble, suffering, or responsibility.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; he enables me to stand on the heights. PSALM 18 : 33

Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD; I will take joy in the God of my salvation. GOD, the Lord, is my strength; he makes my feet like the deer’s; he makes me tread on my high places. To the choirmaster: with stringed instruments. Habakkuk 3:17-19

Prayer: Lord when things seem to be going all wrong, help me to stop and affirm my trust in you. Thank you that this world is just short-term housing. My homeland is in Heaven, where I will live with you forever. Set my heart on eternity Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

SIT QUIETLY IN GOD’S PRESENCE while GOD blesses you – PSALM 37 : 7, ROMANS 8 : 16 – 17, 1 PETER 2 : 9

“SIT QUIETLY IN GOD’S PRESENCE while GOD blesses you. Make your mind like a still pool of water, ready to receive whatever thoughts GOD drops into it. Rest in GOD’S sufficiency, as you consider the challenges this day presents. Do not wear yourself out by worrying about whether you can cope with the pressures. Keep looking to GOD and communicating with HIM, as you walk through this day together. Take time to rest by the wayside, for GOD is not in a hurry. A leisurely pace accomplishes more than hurried striving. When you rush, you forget who you are and Whose you are. Remember that you are royalty in GOD’S kingdom.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; do not fret when men succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. PSALM 37 : 7

The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. ROMANS 8 : 16 – 17

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 1 PETER 2 : 9

Prayer: Lord help me to make time to sit in your presence and let you bless me because of time with you. Help me to slow down my pace to a leisurely pace today. Paying attention to all the blessings and opportunities to be a light you place along my path. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Romans 12: 1-2

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. (Romans 12: 1-2 NKJV)

Paul says I bring to you, by the mercies of God. To many Christians are going to God trying to make him perform by there works, we should be thanking him for his mercy…… Today I pray that we all would renew our minds Daily, and embrace Gods mercy for us….. Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

WATCH YOUR WORDS DILIGENTLY

“WATCH YOUR WORDS DILIGENTLY. Words have such great power to bless or to wound. When you speak carelessly or negatively, you damage others as well as yourself. This ability to verbalize is an awesome privilege, granted only to those GOD created in HIS image. You need help in wielding this mighty power responsibly. Though the world applauds quick-witted retorts, GOD’S instructions about communication are quite different: Be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry. Ask GOD’S Holy Spirit to help you whenever you speak. GOD has trained you to pray—“Help me, Holy Spirit”—before answering the phone, and you have seen the benefits of this discipline. Simply apply the same discipline to communicating with people around you. If they are silent, pray before speaking to them. If they are talking, pray before responding. These are split-second prayers, but they put you in touch with GOD’S Presence. In this way, your speaking comes under the control of GOD’S Holy Spirit. As positive speech patterns replace your negative ones, the increase in your Joy will amaze you.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing. PROVERBS 12 : 18

My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry. JAMES 1 : 19

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. EPHESIANS 4 : 29

Prayer: God help me to be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry. To pray a quick prayer before conversations so that my words will be edifying and pleasing to you and to those who hear them Lord whether in person or online. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

1 Corinthians‬ ‭10‬:‭13

No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. (‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭10‬:‭13‬ NIV)

Have you ever done something you know is wrong but did it anyways? If you look at all temptation there is always a way out of it. Gods word tells us that he will never let us be tempted beyond what we can endure. As believers we have to stand firm on his word. The devil will always direct temptation at us in all areas but when the temptation comes remember there is always a way around it. Today I pray when temptation arises we would confess the ” We are the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus” and watch the temptation flee…….Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

Psalm 63: 1-4

O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you.My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water. I have seen you in your sanctuary and gazed upon your power and glory. Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you! I will praise you as long as I live, lifting up my hands to you in prayer. Psalm 63: 1-4

Our country is in much need of help, we look at the world events and think we’re doomed. God is what this great nation was built on and the lack of God will be the great fall of this nation. Instead of restoring the values back, the world can’t take God far enough away. Today’s prayer is that we as Christians would join together and pray for the world, pray that God would restore faith in mankind by opening his eyes to his many miracles that we as Christians see daily……..Be Blessed and say a prayer daily for the world

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭12

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. (‭Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭12‬ NIV)

This scripture lays out a great foundation to live by. To be joyful in hope is to look to our end results in Jesus, to be patient in affliction is to know that without a doubt Jesus will show up to correct the situation, and to be faithful in prayer means to always have a open line of communication with Jesus. Today I pray that we would all use this scripture as a foundation to live our lives by…….Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

TRUST GOD in the depths of your being – COLOSSIANS 1 : 27, MATTHEW 28 : 20, JOHN 20 : 19

“TRUST GOD in the depths of your being. It is there that GOD lives in constant communion with you. When you feel flustered and frazzled on the outside, do not get upset with yourself. You are only human, and the swirl of events going on all around you will sometimes feel overwhelming. Rather than scolding yourself for your humanness, remind yourself that GOD is both with you and within you. GOD is with you at all times, encouraging and supportive rather than condemning. GOD knows that deep within you, where HE lives, HIS peace is your continual experience. Slow down your pace of living for a time. Quiet your mind in GOD’S Presence. Then you will be able to hear The LORD bestowing the resurrection blessing: Peace be with you.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. COLOSSIANS 1 : 27

“. . . and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” MATTHEW 28 : 20

On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” JOHN 20 : 19

Prayer: Lord the more I read your word, the more I get to know you. The more I get to know you, the more I’m in awe of your goodness and kindness and mercy and patience. Thank you for not only sending your son Jesus to take my place, but also for sending your Holy Spirit who lives in me and knows all things and is teaching me to be more like Jesus. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
