FIND GOD in the midst of the maelstrom. – PHILIPPIANS 2 : 9 – 11, ISAIAH 43 : 1

“FIND GOD in the midst of the maelstrom. Sometimes events whirl around you so quickly that they become a blur. Whisper The LORD’S Name in recognition that GOD is still with you. Without skipping a beat in the activities that occupy you, you find strength and Peace through praying GOD’S Name. Later, when the happenings have run their course, you can talk with GOD more fully. Accept each day just as it comes to you. Do not waste your time and energy wishing for a different set of circumstances. Instead, trust GOD enough to yield to HIS design and purposes. Remember that nothing can separate you from GOD’S loving Presence; you are The LORD’S.”

Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. PHILIPPIANS 2 : 9 – 11

But now, this is what the LORD says— he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. ISAIAH 43 : 1

Prayer: God when life gets hectic, help me to whisper your name, reminding me you are still with me and you are still on the throne. Help me to trust you enough to accept any circumstances you allow in my life today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

  1. Hello, while my mother was dying she wrote all of us kids a letter. In my letter she put in this

FIND GOD in the midst of the maelstrom.

When I googled it your page came up. I’m wondering if you were the author of this or if you got it from another devotional book or something along those lines. I would love to know where it came from. I’m guessing it wasn’t my mothers writing or thoughts.
    Thank you

    1. That version is from my page however I adapt for “point of view” from Jesus Calling by Sarah Young – she creates her content from a 1st person point of view that I’m not comfortable with how it reads and I adapt it to what I prefer

      Her original reads
“FIND ME in the midst of the maelstrom. Sometimes events whirl around you so quickly that they become a blur. Whisper My Name in recognition that I am still with you. Without skipping a beat in the activities that occupy you, you find strength and Peace through praying My Name. Later, when the happenings have run their course, you can talk with Me more fully. Accept each day just as it comes to you. Do not waste your time and energy wishing for a different set of circumstances. Instead, trust Me enough to yield to My design and purposes. Remember that nothing can separate you from My loving Presence; you are Mine.” – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young
