For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. 1 John 2:16 NIV
What are your priorities? Are you striving to be noticed for what you do? who you are?what you have?. This scripture talks about wanting from this world, when our wants and desires should come only from the Father. Today’s prayer is that we would prioritize how we operate and only be concerned with how we measure up in Gods eyes, and that is Perfect……Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“LIVING IN DEPENDENCE ON GOD is a glorious adventure. Most people scurry around busily, trying to accomplish things through their own strength and ability. Some succeed enormously; others fail miserably. But both groups miss what life is meant to be: living and working in collaboration with GOD. When you depend on The LORD continually, your whole perspective changes. You see miracles happening all around, while others see only natural occurrences and “coincidences.” You begin each day with joyful expectation, watching to see what The LORD will do. You accept weakness as a gift from GOD, knowing that HIS Power plugs in most readily to consecrated weakness. You keep your plans tentative, knowing that GOD’S plans are far superior. You consciously live, move, and have your being in The LORD, desiring that HE lives in you. GOD in you, and you in GOD. This is the intimate adventure The LORD offers you.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 CORINTHIANS 12 : 9 – 10
“‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’” ACTS 17 : 28
So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. COLOSSIANS 2 : 6 – 7
On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. JOHN 14 : 20
Prayer: God thank you for your Holy Spirit who lives in me, comforts me, guides me, teaches me your ways, and who wants to be my friend. Help me to collaborate and get to know and depend on Him more this week. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. (Romans 12:1-2 NKJV)
Paul says I bring to you, by the mercies of God. To many Christians are going to God trying to make him perform by there works, we should be thanking him for his mercy…… Today I pray that we all would renew our minds Daily, and embrace Gods mercy for us….. Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“SEEK GOD with your whole being. GOD desires to be found by you, and GOD orchestrates the events of your life with that purpose in mind. When things go well and you are blessed, you can feel THE LORD smiling on you. When you encounter rough patches along your life-journey, trust that The LORD’S Light is still shining upon you. GOD’S reasons for allowing these adversities may be shrouded in mystery, but GOD’S continual Presence with you is an absolute promise. Seek GOD in good times; seek GOD in hard times. You will find GOD watching over you all the time.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young
But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul. DEUTERONOMY 4 : 29
Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. HEBREWS 10 : 23
The LORD watches over all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy. PSALM 145 : 20
Prayer: God help me to seek you with my whole being. You promise to use everything for the good of those who love you so I know no matter what happens in this life you will use it for my ultimate good. Thank you for your goodness and mercy that follow me all the days of my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
“GROW STRONG IN YOUR WEAKNESS. Some of GOD’S children HE has gifted with abundant strength and stamina. Others, like you, have received the humble gift of frailty. Your fragility is not a punishment, nor does it indicate lack of faith. On the contrary, weak ones like you must live by faith, depending on GOD to get you through the day. The LORD is developing your ability to trust HIM, to lean on HIM, rather than on your understanding. Your natural preference is to plan out your day, knowing what will happen when. GOD’S preference is for you to depend on HIM continually, trusting The LORD to guide you and strengthen you as needed. This is how you grow strong in your weakness.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young
Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.” JAMES 4 : 13 – 15
Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. PROVERBS 3 : 5 (AMP)
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. ISAIAH 40 : 28 – 31
Prayer: Lord teach me to trust you and lean on you continually. Guide me and strengthen me to do your will this week. All for your glory Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
“So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.” Acts 12:5 NIV Peter was equivalent to our pastors today, he assembled the people built on the foundation of Jesus. Peter endured many different types of persecution and the people continued to pray together for him. Today’s pastors are no different, they are also under attack from the devil for all the souls they are winning for God
Today’s prayer is that we would always pray for our pastors, pray God would give them wisdom, strength, humility, and most of all direction to grow Gods church the way he intended it to be…….Be Blessed and Pray Hard🙏🏻
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier.” 2 Timothy 2:3-4 NKJV
Day to day trials come and go the key is how we react to them! Can you imagine a soldier out in the battle field day ok guys I’m done this is too hard, I don’t think that will fly in war and it’s no different for us as Christians serving Christ. Today’s prayer is that we would see through the trials too the blood of Christ that covers us and gives us strength and direction for our everyday life …….. Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check. When we put bits into the mouths of horses to make them obey us, we can turn the whole animal. Or take ships as an example. Although they are so large and are driven by strong winds, they are steered by a very small rudder wherever the pilot wants to go. Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark.” James 3:2-5 NIV
Are the words you’re speaking into people’s lives edifying or damning? From the ” good morning” to the “what’s wrong with you idiot”. James speaks clearly about the power of the tongue in this scripture just how powerful one little word can affect someone. Today’s prayer is that we would all let God put a bit in our mouths or a rudder on our tongue, that we would edify people no matter how we feel. When someone wrongs you hand it over to God and bite down on that bit……..Be Blessed and tell someone “Good Morning”
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“GROW STRONG in the Light of GOD’S Presence. As GOD’S Face shines upon you, you receive nutrients that enhance your growth in grace. GOD designed you to commune with HIM face to Face, and this interaction strengthens your soul. Such communion provides a tiny glimpse of what awaits you in heaven, where all barriers between you and GOD’S Glory will be removed. This meditative time with GOD blesses you doubly: You experience The LORD’S Presence here and now, and you are refreshed by the hope of heaven, where you will know The LORD in ecstatic Joy.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young
Many are asking, “Who can show us any good?” Let the light of your face shine upon us, O LORD. You have filled my heart with greater joy than when their grain and new wine abound. I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety. PSALM 4 : 6 – 8
The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. REVELATION 21 : 23
Prayer: Lord you have filled my heart with greater joy than words can explain. Help me to grow strong in the light of your presence. Thank you for your presence now and for the hope of Heaven. And thank you for Fridays. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
“This is the ‘stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.’ Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:11-12 NKJV
How is your foundation? Steady or sinking? This scripture explains the importance to have your live based on Jesus. Today I pray that we would all have a strong foundation built on Christ not the world….. Be Blessed
