Prayer: Lord help me to rest in you. Holy Spirit, take charge of the details of this day. Help me to talk to you throughout the day and fix my eyes on Jesus, the only one who keeps me in perfect peace no matter what is going on around me. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.

I love this translation, it explains Grace to a Tee. I believe sometimes as Christians we forget that God’s grace is such a beautiful gift, sometimes we act like it’s our actions that create our peace. The fact of the matter is if not for grace we would be living a life of destruction! But by our faith in Jesus we now have become Sons and Daughters of God. Sometimes it seems like the attacks are never ending, we are surrounded by evil all day every day, but in this scripture Paul writes take heart God will deliver us from all evil. Gods plan for us is not to suffer but to have peace and joy knowing what awaits us when this life is done. The Lord will always help with a gift from him if we use it to glorify him. Praise report update: Week or so ago I made a special prayer request for a Mom named Brandi and her daughter Layla – I got an update this morning that both are doing well and doors were opened for them that had been closed these doors have allowed Brandi and Layla to move to where they have the family support they need to not only stay together but for Brandi to get the help she needs to get back on track. PRAYERS WORK!!!
