“SELF – PITY IS A SLIMY, BOTTOMLESS PIT. Once you fall in, you tend to go deeper and deeper into the mire. As you slide down those slippery walls, you are well on your way to depression, and the darkness is profound. Your only hope is to look up and see the Light of GOD’S Presence shining down on you. Though the Light looks dim from your perspective, deep in the pit, those rays of hope can reach you at any depth. While you focus on GOD in trust, you rise ever so slowly out of the abyss of despair. Finally, you can reach up and grasp The LORD’S hand. GOD will pull you out into the Light again. The LORD will gently cleanse you, washing off the clinging mire. The LORD delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love. PSALM 147 : 11

Prayer: Lord thank you that your rays of hope can reach me and meet me where I’m at. When I start down the path of self-pity, help me to count all the ways you’ve taken care of me in the past and are still doing and reach up and grab your hand. In you I am safe and loved. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

“DO NOT WORRY ABOUT Tomorrow. This is not a suggestion, but a command from GOD. GOD divided time into days and nights, so that you would have manageable portions of life to handle. GOD’S grace is sufficient for you, but it’s sufficiency is for only one day at a time. When you worry about the future, you heap day upon day of troubles onto your flimsy frame. You stagger under this heavy load, which GOD never intended you to carry. Throw off this oppressive burden with one quick thrust of trust in GOD. Anxious thoughts meander about and criss-cross in your brain, but trusting GOD brings you directly into The LORD’S Presence. As you thus affirm your faith, shackles of worry fall off instantly. Prayer: Lord help me to trust you more and worry less. Help me to focus on doing everything today with you. You give me the exact amount I need for each day – enough strength, enough energy for today. Help me to keep my eyes and mind fixed on you today, the author and perfecter of my faith. In Jesus’ name. The LORD could instantly grant you the spiritual riches you desire, but that is not HIS way for you. Together, GOD and you will forge a pathway up the high mountain. The journey is arduous at times, and you are weak. Someday you will dance light footed on the high peaks; but for now, your walk is often plodding and heavy. All GOD requires of you is to take the next step, clinging to HIS hand for strength and direction. Though the path is difficult and the scenery dull at the moment, there are sparkling surprises just around the bend. Stay on the path GOD has selected for you. Discouraged? Trying to fix something in your life? Failing? All of us get that way but take heart we serve a Lord of all Things!!!! I believe things happen for a reason and things happen in a timely manor. Today’s prayer is we would wait on the Lord in all we do! Pray in all things ! Ask for guidance and wisdom from the Holy Spirit……..Be Blessed and Be Patient

If you like what you see in the mirror, you feel a bit more worthy of GOD’S Love. When things are going smoothly and your performance seems adequate, you find it easier to believe you are GOD’S beloved child. When you feel discouraged, you tend to look inward so you can correct whatever is wrong. Instead of trying to “fix” yourself, fix your gaze on GOD, the Lover of your soul. Rather than using your energy to judge yourself, redirect it to praising GOD. God has called us to live a life that is pleasing to him, pressing forward to the goal of bringing heaven to earth. Circumstances can consume your day and even your life. The key to peace is were it comes from. The Lord is the only true peace we have, to trust and depend on him is key. Prayer: God help me to be completely myself and open as I spend time with you. Ready for what you have for me each day. I’m in awe that the creator of the universe, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords wants to be my friend. What a privilege and an honor. Help me to take you up on that special offer. In Jesus’ name. Do you believe God is a God of second chances? A God that forgives once and for all? When the New Covenant came Jesus brought never ending forgiveness to all who call upon his name and make him the Lord of there life. This scripture speaks that until the coming of our Lord let the choice of how people live be their choice, Jesus will judge all according. Today I pray that we would spread the gospel to anyone we can, we don’t know when his return will be, but the promise he has given should not be missed……Be Blessed and use your testimony to witness Jesus to the unsaved
