God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. (James 1:12 NLT)
How are you responding to the trials that come your way? Are you trusting in God or yourself? This scripture talks about trusting God through the trials and he will bless those. Today I pray that we all would respond to our trials with a thank you and a Amen!!!! Let God handle it and stand on his promise….Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“GOD IS LEADING YOU along a way that is uniquely right for you. The closer to GOD you grow, the more fully you become your true self—the one GOD designed you to be. Because you are one of a kind, the path you are traveling with The LORD diverges increasingly from that of other people. However, in GOD’S mysterious wisdom and ways, HE enables you to follow this solitary path while staying in close contact with others. In fact, the more completely you devote yourself to The LORD, the more freely you can love people. Marvel at the beauty of a life intertwined with The LORD’S Presence. Rejoice as you journey together in intimate communion. Enjoy the adventure of finding yourself through losing yourself in GOD.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! 2 CORINTHIANS 5 : 17
For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. EPHESIANS 2 : 10
Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 1 JOHN 4 : 7 – 8
Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. JOHN 15 : 4
Prayer: Lord the closer I get to you the more fully I become who you created me to be. You know the number of hairs on my head. As we go into the new year lead me every step of the way on the path you created for me long ago. Thank you for being my good good Father. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
““It’s only the fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden that we are not allowed to eat. God said, ‘You must not eat it or even touch it; if you do, you will die.’” “You won’t die!” the serpent replied to the woman. “God knows that your eyes will be opened as soon as you eat it, and you will be like God, knowing both good and evil.”” Genesis 3:3-5 NLT
Deception is something we deal with everyday. When we know not to do something but do it anyway something has convinced us that it is ok. In this scripture the Devil convinced Eve that it was ok to eat of the fruit because what God had told her was false, but that could not have been further from the truth. Today’s prayer is that we would always know that the example that God has set for us is nothing but truth!!! Stand strong in the truth you know and resist the Devil and he has to flee…….Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“TRUST GOD with every fiber of your being! What GOD can accomplish in and through you is proportional to how much you depend on HIM. One aspect of this is the degree to which you trust GOD in a crisis or major decision. Some people fail miserably here, while others are at their best in tough times. Another aspect is even more telling: the constancy of your trust in GOD. People who rely on GOD in the midst of adversity may forget about HIM when life is flowing smoothly. Difficult times can jolt you into awareness of your need for GOD, whereas smooth sailing can lull you into the stupor of self-sufficiency. GOD cares as much about your tiny trust-steps through daily life as about your dramatic leaps of faith. You may think that no one notices, but the One who is always beside you sees everything—and rejoices. Consistently trusting in GOD is vital to flourishing in HIS Presence.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young
Blessed is the man who makes the LORD his trust, who does not look to the proud, to those who turn aside to false gods. PSALM 40 : 4
When I am afraid, I will trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me? PSALM 56 : 3 – 4
Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge. PSALM 62 : 8
You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you. Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD, is the Rock eternal. ISAIAH 26 : 3 – 4
Prayer: Lord help me to rely on you more and more whether in good times or in adversity. To trust you at all times regardless of the circumstance. Your ways are higher than my ways. I trust you Jesus. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
“And to him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him; his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom one that shall not be destroyed.” Daniel 7:14 ESV
This scripture speaks such volume! In today’s society there are so many different opinions of what a God is. There are religions that worship objects, animals, Suns , moons, etc. The truth is there is only one true living God and every person will at some point have the opportunity to call upon his name. Today’s prayer is that we would be the disciples that Jesus called us to be, witness to all and educate them of the true……..Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“GOD IS YOUR REFUGE AND STRENGTH, an ever-present Help in trouble. Therefore, you don’t need to be afraid of anything—not even cataclysmic circumstances. The media are increasingly devoted to fear-inducing subject matter: terrorism, serial killers, environmental catastrophes, epidemics. If you focus on such dangers and forget that GOD is your Refuge in all circumstances, you will become increasingly fearful. Every day GOD manifests HIS grace in countless places and situations, but the media take no notice. The LORD showers not only blessings but also outright miracles on our planet. As you grow closer to GOD, HE opens your eyes to see more and more of HIS Presence all around you. Things that most people hardly notice, like shifting shades of sunlight, fill you with heart-bursting Joy. You have eyes that see and ears that hear, so proclaim GOD’S abiding Presence in the world.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. PSALM 46 : 1 – 3
Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, O LORD. PSALM 89 : 15
Prayer: Lord thank you for the blessings and miracles you do everyday. Help me to have eyes to see and ears to hear, proclaiming your abiding presence to the world. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
“He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God,” Romans 4:20 NKJV
Just as Abraham did not waver neither should we! All of the events and turmoil in the world today is enough to make anyone give up, but faith is the strongest trait we have as Christians! Today’s prayer is that through the Pandemic, political madness, murders, rudeness , etc, we would all have Faith of Abraham and give all the glory to God!!!!! Be Blessed……….
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
““Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world. For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’ “Then these righteous ones will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink? Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing? When did we ever see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ “And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’” Matthew 25:34-40 NLT
This scripture is so powerful!!! Jesus speaks of helping those in need, beings that he considers all creation his. When was the last time you lent a helping hand to a complete stranger? When was the last time you made a selfless act of kindness? Today’s prayer is that we would see Jesus in all we come across and treat them as if they were the most special person on earth…….Be Blessed 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new
“The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David!” Luke 2:11 NLT
Merry Christmas too all, there are a lot of traditions that surround Christmas, from decorating the tree, wrapping the presents, singing carols, spending time with family. The celebration of Christmas is to celebrate the birth of our Lord and savior. Today’s prayer is that everyone would have a blessed Christmas with there family and friends…….Be Blessed and remember Jesus is the reason for the season
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
