John‬ ‭10‬:‭10‬

The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life. (‭John‬ ‭10‬:‭10‬)

Are you letting someone or something steal your joy? Are you letting the circumstance control you? Well don’t!!! The devil works in and through many situations so let your joy always trump the situation. Today I pray that our attitudes will always look to the blessings we experience everyday and not the temporary problems……In Jesus Name Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

Daily Devotional Video 6/10/2020 – 1 THESSALONIANS 5 : 17, PSALM 62 : 5

“REST IN GOD, YOU ARE HIS CHILD. Give your mind a break from planning and trying to anticipate what will happen. Pray continually, asking GOD’S Holy Spirit to take charge of the details of this day. Remember that you are on a journey with GOD. When you try to peer into the future and plan for every possibility, you ignore your constant Companion who sustains you moment by moment. As you gaze anxiously into the distance, you don’t even feel the strong grip of GOD’S hand holding yours. How foolish you are, GOD’S child! Remembrance of The LORD is a daily discipline. Never lose sight of GOD’S Presence with you. This will keep you resting in The LORD all day, every day.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

Pray continually. 1 THESSALONIANS 5 : 17

Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him. PSALM 62 : 5

Prayer: Lord help me to rest in you. Holy Spirit, take charge of the details of this day. Help me to talk to you throughout the day and fix my eyes on Jesus, the only one who keeps me in perfect peace no matter what is going on around me. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.

Ephesians‬ ‭2:8‬ ‭AMP

“For it is by free grace (God’s unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgement and made partakers of Christ’s salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God;” Ephesians‬ ‭2:8‬ ‭AMP‬‬

I love this translation, it explains Grace to a Tee. I believe sometimes as Christians we forget that God’s grace is such a beautiful gift, sometimes we act like it’s our actions that create our peace. The fact of the matter is if not for grace we would be living a life of destruction! But by our faith in Jesus we now have become Sons and Daughters of God. Today’s prayer is that we would never stop thanking God for his Grace and live a life that is pleasing to him……..Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

‭2 Timothy‬ ‭4‬:‭18‬

Yes, and the Lord will deliver me from every evil attack and will bring me safely into his heavenly Kingdom. All glory to God forever and ever! Amen. (‭2 Timothy‬ ‭4‬:‭18‬ NLT)

Sometimes it seems like the attacks are never ending, we are surrounded by evil all day every day, but in this scripture Paul writes take heart God will deliver us from all evil. Gods plan for us is not to suffer but to have peace and joy knowing what awaits us when this life is done. Today I pray that we would all meditate on this scripture and know that we serve a all loving, caring, and protecting God…….Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

Daily Devotional Video 5/29/2020 – MATTHEW 1 : 23, COLOSSIANS 2 : 6 – 7

“GOD IS WITH YOU, watching over you constantly. The LORD is Emmanuel (God with you); GOD’S Presence enfolds you in radiant Love. Nothing, including the brightest blessings and the darkest trials, can separate you from GOD. Some of GOD’S children find HIM more readily during dark times, when difficulties force them to depend on The LORD. Others feel closer to GOD when their lives are filled with good things. They respond with thanksgiving and praise, thus opening wide the door to The LORD’S Presence. GOD knows precisely what you need to draw nearer to HIM. Go through each day looking for what Tee LORD has prepared for you. Accept every event as GOD’S hand-tailored provision for your needs. When you view your life this way, the most reasonable response is to be thankful. Do not reject any of The LORD’S gifts; find GOD in every situation.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

“The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel”—which means, “God with us.” MATTHEW 1 : 23

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. COLOSSIANS 2 : 6 – 7

Prayer: Lord I overflow with thankfulness for despite problems in this life, this is not my true home. Help me to be rooted and built up in Christ, strengthened in my faith, and overflowing with thankfulness today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Psalms‬ ‭3:1-3

“LORD, how they have increased who trouble me! Many are they who rise up against me. Many are they who say of me, “ There is no help for him in God.” Selah But You, O LORD, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head.” Psalms‬ ‭3:1-3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

There will always be people that come against you for your beliefs but remember that God is always there to give you strength in this time of need. Today’s prayer is that in your times of trials and persecution you would lean on the Lord…..Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

Hebrews‬ ‭10:35-36

“Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:” Hebrews‬ ‭10:35-36‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Do you know you have a special gift or talent but are to afraid to use it? Are you seeking approval from man or God? This scripture tells us not to cast away our confidence. The Lord will always help with a gift from him if we use it to glorify him. Today’s prayer is that we would all use that gifts from God to bring him glory, he will see that our confidence holds strong……..Be Blessed

Daily Devotional Video 5/28/2020 – 1 TIMOTHY 6 : 15 – 16, JAMES 4 : 8, ACTS 17 : 28 , PSALM 145 : 3 – 6

“LET GOD ANOINT YOU with HIS Presence. GOD is King of kings and Lord of lords, dwelling in unapproachable Light. When you draw near to GOD, HE responds by coming closer to you. As GOD’S Presence envelops you, you may feel overwhelmed by HIS Power and Glory. This is a form of worship: sensing your smallness in comparison to GOD’S Greatness. Man has tended to make himself the measure of all things. But man’s measure is too tiny to comprehend The LORD’S majestic vastness. That is why most people do not see GOD at all, even though they live and move and have their being in GOD. Enjoy the radiant beauty of GOD’S Presence. Declare GOD’S glorious Being to the world!” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen. 1 TIMOTHY 6 : 15 – 16

Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. JAMES 4 : 8

“‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’” ACTS 17 : 28

Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom. One generation will commend your works to another; they will tell of your mighty acts. They will speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty, and I will meditate on your wonderful works. They will tell of the power of your awesome works, and I will proclaim your great deeds. PSALM 145 : 3 – 6

Prayer: Lord I come close to you today. Envelop me in your loving arms. Hold me close. And open my eyes to see more of you in and around me today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Daily Devotional Video 5/27/2020 – PSALM 27 : 8, ROMANS 13 : 14, COLOSSIANS 3 : 12

Praise report update: Week or so ago I made a special prayer request for a Mom named Brandi and her daughter Layla – I got an update this morning that both are doing well and doors were opened for them that had been closed these doors have allowed Brandi and Layla to move to where they have the family support they need to not only stay together but for Brandi to get the help she needs to get back on track. PRAYERS WORK!!!

“SEEK GOD’S FACE at the beginning of your day. This practice enables you to “put GOD on” and “wear GOD” throughout the day. Most people put on clothes soon after arising from bed. Similarly, the sooner you “put GOD on” by communicating with GOD, the better prepared you are for whatever comes your way. To “wear GOD” is essentially to have GOD’S mind: to think HIS thoughts. Ask the Holy Spirit to control your thinking; be transformed by this renewal within you. Thus you are well equipped to face whatever people and situations GOD brings your way. Clothing your mind in GOD is your best preparation for each day. This discipline brings Joy and Peace to you and those around you.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

When You said, “Seek My face,” My heart said to You, “Your face, LORD, I will seek.” PSALM 27 : 8 (NKJV)

Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the sinful nature. ROMANS 13 : 14

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. COLOSSIANS 3 : 12

Prayer: Lord help me to prioritize seeking you each morning, to put you in as I do my clothes. Holy Spirit control my thoughts today, make them obedient to Christ. And let compassion for others abound and overflow in and through me today just as Jesus shows me compassion. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Proverbs‬ ‭16:3

“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭16:3‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Are you seeking council from the Lord in all you do? Are you dealing with the feeling that a particular situation isn’t right?. This proverb says commit to the Lord in whatever you do! Not commit to some things. Today’s prayer is that we would have so much faith in God’s plan for us that we would seek him first and trust that he will give us the proper decision…….Be Blessed
