“YOU CAN ACHIEVE THE VICTORIOUS LIFE through living in deep dependence on GOD. People usually associate victory with success: not falling or stumbling, not making mistakes. But those who are successful in their own strength tend to go their own way, forgetting about GOD. It is through problems and failure, weakness and neediness that you learn to rely on GOD. True dependence is not simply asking The LORD to bless what you have decided to do. It is coming to The LORD with an open mind and heart, inviting GOD to plant HIS desires within you. GOD may infuse within you a dream that seems far beyond your reach. You know that in yourself you cannot achieve such a goal. Thus begins your journey of profound reliance on GOD. It is a faith-walk, taken one step at a time, leaning on The LORD as much as you need. This is not a path of continual success but of multiple failures. However, each failure is followed by a growth spurt, nourished by increased reliance on GOD. Philippians 3:13-14

Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13-14 NKJV

Yesterday is gone and today is here, memory is a powerful thing but look, you made it to today. The circumstances that hinder you need to be forgotten, the promise of Jesus needs to be remembered, Paul says ” press forward” meaning through every trial keep moving towards The Lord for he is our strength. Today I pray we would all have peace in the promise that Jesus gives us and we would all press forward to the ultimate prize in heaven………..Be Blessed

We tend to take all the glory when we achieve something, Jesus gave us the chance to live through his loving sacrifice so how can we not give him the glory? To be self righteous is to be distant from God. Today’s prayer is that we would give glory to God in all situations, even though we play a big part in our achievements, Jesus played a bigger part by laying his life down for us that we may live…….Be Blessed

The Cross is used in so many ways in the world today, you see it displayed from necklaces to embroidered jewels on the back of jeans. This scripture says it is foolishness (just a symbol) to those who are perishing, but to those who are saved it is the power of God, what does the cross mean to you? Today’s prayer is that we would see the cross for what it truly is and understand that Jesus made that Cross everything for the believers “Salvation”…….Be Blessed and take up your Cross daily

I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. JOHN 14 : 26 – 27

Prayer: Lord fill me with your peace as this year draws to an end. I want to put you first in my life this upcoming year with my thoughts, my time, my talents, and my money. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. In Jesus’ precious name, the name above all names I pray. Amen.

How are you responding to the trials that come your way? Are you trusting in God or yourself? This scripture talks about trusting God through the trials and he will bless those. Deception is something we deal with everyday. When we know not to do something but do it anyway something has convinced us that it is ok. In this scripture the Devil convinced Eve that it was ok to eat of the fruit because what God had told her was false, but that could not have been further from the truth. Today’s prayer is that we would always know that the example that God has set for us is nothing but truth!!! Stand strong in the truth you know and resist the Devil and he has to flee…….Be Blessed
