“STOP JUDGING AND EVALUATING YOUR SELF, for this is not your role. Above all, stop comparing yourself with other people. This produces feelings of pride or inferiority; sometimes, a mixture of both. GOD leads each of HIS children along a path that is uniquely tailor-made for him or her. Comparing is not only wrong; it is also meaningless. Don’t look for affirmation in the wrong places: your own evaluations, or those of other people. The only source of real affirmation is GOD’S unconditional Love. Many believers perceive GOD as an unpleasable Judge, angrily searching out their faults and failures. Nothing could be farther from the truth! The LORD, Jesus Christ died for your sins, so that GOD might clothe you in The LORD’S garments of salvation. This is how GOD sees you: radiant in The LORD’S robe of righteousness. When GOD disciplines you, it is never in anger or disgust; it is to prepare you for face-to-Face fellowship with GOD throughout all eternity. Immerse yourself in GOD’S loving Presence. Prayer: God I’m so grateful when you disciple me you don’t look at me with anger or disgust, but rather with love and grace and fairness, preparing me for an eternity with you. I long for that day. In the meantime, do what you need to in order to prepare me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Have you ever felt like you weren’t going too make it through the day because of all the circumstances that came up? This scripture explains about not being so grounded in earthly things but be more grounded in Heavenly things. Today’s prayer is that we would take this scripture too heart! “KEEP YOUR EYES ON GOD! Waves of adversity are washing over you, and you feel tempted to give up. As your circumstances consume more and more of your attention, you are losing sight of GOD. Yet The LORD is with you always, holding you by your right hand. GOD is fully aware of your situation, and HE will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able to bear. Your gravest danger is worrying about tomorrow. If you try to carry tomorrow’s burdens today, you will stagger under the load and eventually fall flat. You must discipline yourself to live within the boundaries of today. It is in the present moment that The LORD walks close to you, helping you carry your burdens. No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it. 1 CORINTHIANS 10 : 13

Prayer: Lord help me to keep my eyes on you today. You know what is up ahead. Equip me to handle it with you leading the way. Thank you for always providing a way out of temptation. Help me to give you all my worries, and let go. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Imagine on the day of the Lords return you think about all you could have done. Think about the calling God put on your life that you ignored because the enemy made you feel unworthy. What about all the time you could have spent with him in fellowship but chose other earthly things, the reality of this is staggering. Today’s prayer is that we would stay in constant fellowship with the Lord, pray for the faith to step out into your calling and know that on that day the Lord will say “enter my faithful servant you have made me proud” Be Blessed………….

Prayer: God thank you for leading me step by step. You often reveal one step at a time and wait for me to be obedience before you reveal the next step. “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent. Are you praying for a family member, friend, co-worker ? God hears your prayer and that one person is as important to the Lord as any other soul. The parable of the lost sheep reveals to us just how important every soul on earth is to our Father in Heaven. Today I boldly pray that God would grace us with the strength to overcome the adversity of the things of this world and boldly witness the joy that comes from making Jesus your Lord and Savior

Morning Thoughts

As I do my daily morning study of God’s Word, I find out alot about myself. I am that sinner he points out that deserves death. I am the hypocrite at times spoken about. I am that one who sometimes doesn’t hold his tongue when he should. I am that one who can’t turn his cheek when struck and insulted, especially for what I believe. I am that one who lacks love for others at times.
Yes, God tells me all these things but he also tells me how his Son, Jesus, was sent down from heaven to be the ONLY bridge from certain death to eternal salvation in his heavenly Kingdom by his grace, his free grace, given to us all, if we so choose to accept and change our lives from the world to him. Jesus gives us hope and he makes us “presentable” to his father by his blood shed on the cross.
My life has been changed since I embraced Christ and established a real intimate relationship with him. I am on a lifelong journey knowing more and more about him every day by studying his Word and daily prayer. He has pointed out my weaknesses and he is changing/molding me into a better Christian. My salvation is assured, this I know. I give my shortcomings to him, and I know he is walking by my side in my walk with him. Turning to Christ doesn’t make one sinless. But when we allow Christ into our hearts, he shows us the way out of sin and sin no longer controls us. He leaves us with his Holy Spirit to strengthen and guide us every single day.
As I continue to grow, I will share what I’m shown through his Word, for he commands us to.

You are constantly aware of limitations: your own and others’. But there is no limit to GOD’S Love; it fills all of space, time, and eternity. Now you see through a glass, darkly, but someday you will see GOD face to Face. Then you will be able to experience fully how wide and long and high and deep is GOD’S Love for you. If you were to experience that now, you would be overwhelmed to the point of feeling crushed. But you have an eternity ahead of you, absolutely guaranteed, during which you can enjoy GOD’S Presence in unrestricted ecstasy.
