Daily Devotional Video 6/18/2020 – EPHESIANS 1 : 4, PROVERBS 16 : 9, JEREMIAH 29 : 11, EPHESIANS 1 : 13 – 14

“YOU ARE GOD’S BELOVED CHILD. GOD choose you before the foundation of the world, to walk with HIM along paths designed uniquely for you. Concentrate on keeping in step with GOD, instead of trying to anticipate HIS plans for you. If you trust that GOD’S plans are to prosper you and not to harm you, you can relax and enjoy the present moment. Your hope and your future are rooted in heaven, where eternal ecstasy awaits you. Nothing can rob you of your inheritance of unimaginable riches and well-being. Sometimes GOD grants you glimpses of your glorious future, to encourage you and spur you on. But your main focus should be staying close to THE LORD. GOD sets the pace in keeping with your needs and HIS purposes.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

. . . just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love. EPHESIANS 1 : 4 (NKJV)

In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps. PROVERBS 16 : 9

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” JEREMIAH 29 : 11

And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory. EPHESIANS 1 : 13 – 14

Prayer: Lord thank you that nothing can separate me from your love. I am sealed for eternity, marked as chosen, holy, and dearly loved because of Jesus. Thank you for the Holy Spirit in me, reminding me of your promises and teaching me to be more like Christ everyday. Your grateful child. Amen.
